I don’t hate the mask sculpts but I do like the unmasked faces better. to me they just look so unique that it’s awesome, I don’t take predators for just cool, I take it for bad-a more, but yes the mask is killer af

This is true, but that's how they were in the movie. They just remolded the two main Predator suits and repainted them with some random stuff added to differentiate them. NECA actually made them more different by adding extra gimmicks to each one.

Predator is NECA's bread and butter so to speak so I guess it makes sense for them, in terms of cost saving measures, to do a re-paint and to utilize the same body mold, while making some adjustments such as, offering a new head sculpt and including a new weapon. That's the kind of thing that irritates some people, but it allows NECA to release a new figure, albeit with some tweaks here and there. In regards to the Predator 2 Ultimate Guardian Predator, I really like the masked head sculpt and it definitely gives the figure a unique and interesting aesthetic. The inclusion of the collapsible arm cannon and blast effect are much appreciated. Otherwise, thanks once again Spot for another great video. Keep it up!
I know we are talking about this predator..but let's talk about the flying queen that he's fighting on the box. Come on NECA. Give us that flying queen.
the funny part of head is as yoou said, the head is reused by City Hunter predator, but his unmasked head and head with mask are so different, i mean look at corner of top of the masked head, its dark orange mixed with red and if you move his hair, he have orange head with black dots, but unmasked head have brown and white on top and if you move his hair, he have dark brown head like City Hunter predator
I saw a review on that mask, supposedly the producer or director said he didn't like because it gave away the image of the predators face to much , and they wanted it to be more of a surprise at the end
thanx to u i only not see your videos to learn about new figures, just received this and there is so much stuff that i didnt wanna ruin it did not know how to place the disk in his leg now you showed me, and mine does have where to place the stick it looks actually like something out of place with no color a little brace thing, like they forgot to put it and they made these ones as replacements still looks very cool with the stick on his back, thanx i certainly didnt wanna break my piece and want to know how to place everything right, have seend other videos they didnt even know how to place the hand canon in the arm
Actually no. The package contents on the back of the box specifically mentioned it as a proximity bomb. It is not listed as a collapsed arm cannon and it doesn't match up detail wise to the arm cannon. Lots of people get this wrong, but it is and always was ment to be a proximity bomb. If you look closely and try to match the details up with the arm cannon, you will see that it doesn't match. Unlike Scout's collapsed sniper rifle that matches up perfectly.
@@adamlucas64 I would have to disagree with you. If you look at it and the arm cannon you will see them as nearly identical besides the obvious size difference. Also when they released it they (Neca) called it "collapsed arm cannon"
@@chanceharper4676 I could be wrong about what it was originally intended to be, but NECA calls it a priority bomb and that's what they intend it to be on the final product. I personally find that much more interesting. Especially since one of his specialties is explosives, se he should come with an explosive device. We have too many blasters already, this is a nice change.

How many smart disk figures will it take you to tell that there is a special hand for the disk and no he didn't use the right one the right one is the hand on his right wrist
I found one almost 2 months ago but he had 2 left feet, so I returned it. I hope to locate another one. Thought he was pretty dope, except he wouldn't stand properly with 2 left feet LOL.
I hate that all of these ultimate predator 2 figures that come with opened smart disk with out a hand to go with it sense in the movie they can only use it to track targets if its opened, other then that i love everything in this series so far. Also the bigger back peace is actually a closed version of his plasma cannon, so it might be weird to have him using the cannon while it is also on his back if your a stickler for accuracy.
This figure had so much potential and they wasted it. The arm cannon should have been the entire forearm segment (non detachable) and his helmet should have had more targeting stuff. He also should have had more of a unqiue aesthetic, maybe industrial plated metal or something.
Wish NECA wasn't so brittle with their figures in their choice of materials. They're still using cheap plastic in some parts smh. For 35 bucks a pop they can do better. Its frustrating to see things break off.
That mask sculpt is killer. Really enjoy the NECA predator line.

that's basically been my biggest gripe with the lost tribe, aside from masks and one major weapon, most of them are just repaints of the city hunter.

That's why I only have Stalker and Armored. They are the most different. Chest armor and unique masks.

For the best fit for the smart disk try this trick. Line up the finger holes with the holes in the holster. Fits great every time. Happy collecting.

Both the bio mask and the big cannon make the Guardian predator unique. It will be my way of displaying the figure, though I have not bought it yet.
