You really think highly of yourself, don't you? Legally you own your likeness, and it can't be reused commercially without your permission. Many lawsuits have been won from such things. Disney has good lawyers, who help the company avoid such costly mistakes.

You would have to be very confident in your appearance to consider your image may he of some value to a multi-billion dollar company. There are no TOS's that can legally give away your rights to your image or likeness outside of the immediate application, and materials related to that application. It can't be legal. You can sign away your work, performance, or instance, but never your face.
Any info on beards, glasses, and if the heads can be snapped off? Big guy here and would love to put this on a figure body that more closely matches my frame.
You'll get to pick out the hairstyle and hair color you want after you do the face scan! Not sure if a one sided undercut would be in the available lineup, but I think they've done it before with ITSV Spider-Gwen so it's not completely out of the realm of possibility.

Lightning figures tend to be built with mostly the same specifications, including neck balls, so it should be no problem if you wanted to use a different team's suit.

they said you can choose any hair, so i imagine you will choose the eye color, those figures generaly dont have lips anyway....so unless lipstick is there for females....
I'm 99.99% positive they are hand painting those details during hair/body assembly. There's no way to mass paint/stamp those details as the dimensions are bespoke, and you can't print the head like that in a resin printer.
Would rather just get the STL file and print the figure myself instead of spending way more than it's worth for just the packaging and the Hasbro logo.
This is an excellent initiative! It's just a bummer that no one outside the US can hop on this hype train. Living in Canada, I would've looked forward to buying several of these (my friends and I run a Star Wars RPG campaign, using figures to denote our characters). This would've been at the top of my purchase list, but alas, I guess it wasn't meant to be, and we'll have to go with third party artists.

I'm sure there will be a clause that the image has to be yours, though not sure how Disney would make certain. It would be necessary to cover their butts if someone starts obsessively making action figures of an ex or someone they're stalking.
Use the Thor Endgame body as a base, and go get your face scanned gramps! No reason you can't still have fun. Hell, maybe get a Sequels Luke figure if that's more your style. Oldies are still in the game my man
Try to find a second hand Miles or Sam, there's no reason to think you couldn't kitbash your Selfie Series head with the Spidey or Cap body. So far the only Marvel bodies confirmed for this line are MCU Black Panther, MCU Black Widow, MCU Upgraded Suit Spidey and MCU Iron Man.
You guys should make a real impression by taking the people you’re showing talking and show the versions of them. Bearded guy I’d be interested in for sure
This technique still has quite a ways to go before its acceptable.... Compared to the regular hasbro figure faces, these personal custom faces look...chubby...
They should have spent MUCH more time showing us how realistic and how true to life they could make the faces. They showed us ONLY ONE real person and her figurine. They dropped the ball in this way. Did they really think The People cared about the struggle of the corporation? The People want to see how close to the real person the action figure's face can be. Silly Hasbro.

Curious as well, but I would be shocked if Hasbro didn't allow it, as the resin printing can easily do it.
Not snapped off, but should be able to be heated up a little to pop off safely.

Does it do glasses? Is any hairstyle possible? What if the hairstyle is not matched the same on each side, like a one-side undercut?

Same concern. Spent a while growing out a Thor style beard, hopefully it's available as part of the service.

Really stunning! But can you tell me how the faces get their different colors (eyes, lips, etc.)? I seem to have missed that
