James is getting older. So as his vocal. Guitar could change strings and can be set up, Drums can also change drum heads, drums sticks. Keyboard are programmed to sound amazing. But our vocal range, there is nothing we can do when we aged. At least, he's still trying to sing for us.
And this is the reason Liquid Tension Experiment is better 🤣 just bring in Myung as a second bass player and do a tour and throw in a Dream Theater Instrumental mashup. People will be happy because it's a reunion for Portnoy and they don't have to listen to Labrie attempt this anymore
I am a huge fan of James Labrie, and thanks to him I became interested in singing as such. For me, his career already spoke for itself. Although I would be lying if I say that it sounds just as good as before or that it sounds very good, however it is not something to attack it so much. He had vocal problems, he had a complicated career in which he sang badly at many concerts, he had someone teach him incorrect vocal technique that he still maintains to this day, and he is singing the song in the same key as when it came out but now more than 20 years later. What James needs is to correct his vocal technique, and by improving that aspect he will be able to stay more in Dream theater, and he would stop sounding drowned and pushed. Yes, it seems strange to me that he doesn't do it, but doing it would be the best solution for him and for the band.

Ola should be singing for this band!
the thumbnail got me
Karaoke night with DT.
He was very attentive, even though the intro to this song was very simple. He can close his eyes and play.
Oh my ears.. damn kkkk
Vince Meal moment
JP...man...this guy's chops are just unreal...talking Shawn Lane ass chops
Can Liquid Tension Experiment just open and close and take over for Dream Theater?
They even have portnoy for drums so uts bettter
Last time I saw them Petrucci still had frosted tips and a goatee. I think lebrie probly sounded fine but I was right in the front mesmerized by everybody else. To be fair to him this music cannot be easy to keep up with for all these years
Petrucci almost looks like a younger Lee Skylar...
OMG... What happened to James's voice?? 😩
Sheesh!!!! Poor James dropped so horribly .
James with the painful x-factor audition
What on earth is up with those vocals 😮
lol why did they get rid of Mike Portnoy and not James Labrie
James is getting older. So as his vocal. Guitar could change strings and can be set up, Drums can also change drum heads, drums sticks. Keyboard are programmed to sound amazing. But our vocal range, there is nothing we can do when we aged. At least, he's still trying to sing for us.
Agreed. Such a big fan of his.
Good lord, that singing. 🤣
John Petrucci is a wizard, and this is a fact. Just look at my source
Source: just trust me bro
JP’s tone is fucking on point!
Yeah, let's grind a legend's career to a hault while you keep your job as the master judge of the world for ever.
3:10 hahah lmao
Vocals sound like cats fighting each other
I saw them last year and James sounded great, what the hell happened haha
Beer goggles?
And this is the reason Liquid Tension Experiment is better 🤣 just bring in Myung as a second bass player and do a tour and throw in a Dream Theater Instrumental mashup. People will be happy because it's a reunion for Portnoy and they don't have to listen to Labrie attempt this anymore
Just play all the tunes as instrumentals.. please
Какая же боль живое исполнение Ла Бри, пора ему за борт...
Wow, one of my testicules ran away after hearing those vocals.
Probably has a job and a nice appartment by now...
I think James has the same speech therapist as Vince Neil.
