We've been debating one of these and I think we need one. Techno RV is great so we'll catch them at the International Rally next year...

I had the same thought - I wanted one for a few years, but could not justify the $150 price. Once they went on sale to around $100 I was willing to take a chance. It also worked out as the PRO+ model has a number of improvements over the older model.

Excellent review Randy! We’ve used the Pro+ for a couple of years and it’s great. Zero issues! I didn’t run power to it but the battery easily lasted for over a year and is very easy to replace by removing the 4 front screws (I’ve only done it once). I never turn it off since it automatically times out and turns itself off after use. I do have to turn it back on. I can’t imagine camping without it! Funny coincidence; I just received an email today announcing a brand new Levelmate (called Max rather than Pro+) with longer battery life using 3 AAA batteries. I’m quite happy with ours and won’t upgrade, though. Our very best to Diane! Brent and Betsy

Hi Brent & Betsy - thank you for the feed back. My understanding is the LevelMate will automatically turn on when the trailer is moving then time out when it is stopped. I have not used ours that much to confirm if that true. Figures there is a new model coming- I away seem to jump on a product when the price drops, only to find out they are coming out with a new model. ☹️

You're welcome! Just commenting with a viewer that also has the older version and it seems that they have made a number of improvements to the PRO+. I like that I can mount it in a cabinet and power it using a USB cable and not worry about turning it on and off at every campsite. Having it connected to my Apple Watch is a bonus.

I have had that for a long time, most times it wont connect to my iPhone without being very close to rv, then there is the battery dont last very long. another waste of money for me. just use a carpenters level.

Thank for the comment. My guess is you do not have the PRO+ model that connects with USB to power it. I have had excellent reception with the PRO+ even through the aluminum body of the Airstream.

@@ZephyrTravels I have had the Level Mate Pro for several years. so the Plus has to be hard wired, no thanks

@dannybryant4440 thanks for the feed back, sound like the changes made to the PRO+ are an improvement over the previous model. The PRO+ does have a battery and does not need to be plugged in to be used. The USB gives you options to mount the device in a cabinet and not have to turn it on every time you want to level your RV. When your RV is parked the device goes to sleep and will wake up when the RV moves.
