My ex girlfriend was INTJ. She's demanding too much like she wants you to be capable in anything like superhero or superdad someday. So she doesn't lose face when facing her family and friends.
That's so true. Whenever there is an intj character in a movie / book / series I like them the most, because they're like a riddle. You don't see their full personality at first but you know it's very deep
Yes. My younger kids’ friends think I’m super strict while my college aged child told me she’s one of the very few whose parents aren’t tracking her via cellphone.
@@irecyclechildrenandthisism5944 INTJs desire to be as knowledgeable as possible while being authentic and ultimately effective. If you are a mother, to be most effective while raising a future human representative of life, to do this in the smoothest and most wise way, it takes really viewing life from a perspective outside of our own perceived limitations. Schizophrenia or sociopathic tendencies come with the territory of having this "super power." Do not dwell on it. Every time you notice these labels, go outside of yourself and view it all from a distant observer perspective. This will begin to free you.
The thing about INTJ mom's is that they are strict on the important stuff only and allow a lot of freedom on everything else. My mom would never knit pick over stuff that didn't matter like my hairstyle or my game preferences. And you know what, that meant she always had my full attention when she did want to point something out to me, because I knew it would actually be something important that mattered. Having an INTJ mom was great. I had the reputation amongst my peers as having the "cool" mom.
Absolutely….that’s exactly how I’ve been as an INTJ mom & my daughters would attest to that. They said the same to me many times: I really emphasized my points on big issues but didn’t sweat the small stuff. Then counted myself very fortunate. Actually, I explained so much to them on the “whys & wherefores” in virtually every scenario that only once or twice did I EVER have to just ask them to trust me on something w/o an explanation. And they DID! My daughters are amazing!💞
Then i guess intj dads are the opposite, they dont care if you fail a class or get bad grades or get pregnant in highschool or move out right after you turn 18 and not speak to them anymore (my life) but will literally complain and enforce and bully us into doing soo many unnecessary and unimportant stuff... the only thing that he was strict wigh that was important was hygiene and... saving money (at least when it came to us because he spends hundreds of dollars on his hobbies/obsessions).
@@alinacyraniak334 you're starting to make me wonder if my husband's INTJ too... who worked with our kid on make-up assignments so he passed math? me. who wants the kids brushing their teeth 3 times a day and spending all their free time building lego sets? him.
As an INTJ mom, you nailed it! Especially the “I can’t wait til you drive yourself to school so I can sleep in”. Also, the overexplaining while giving options.
"Why would you think I'm mad? I'm actually in a very good mood right now." As an INTJ who has been dealing with this mistaken perception of my emotions since primary school, THANK YOU! That really belonged in this sketch.
I learned to just smile every time someone looks at me. I find it puts people at ease. And they mistakenly think I have it all together all the time. When all else fails, buff.
INTJ here, married to an INFJ, we're expecting our first child and I know the "just wait till your father gets home ... and then maybe you'll have someone who sympathizes with you" is gonna be ACCURATE AF.
I'm in the same situation with our baby being already 10 month old. I already don't take crap from her when she just whines but my husband is always so understanding, that doesn't save me from his laughs when our baby has a real problem and I go into protective mama bear mode
People thought I was weird because I talked to my daughter like an adult and never did the baby talk thing when she was little. But now she has an amazing vocabulary and her pronunciation is perfect. I also taught her the anatomical words for her body parts and functions. It's hilarious to hear a five year old say "I need to urinate".
lol my mom did this with me but she is an esfp also always explained why some behavior could be dangerous or innapropriate so I would rarelly throw tantrums.
If I ever have kids, I'll probably do that same thing. My parents also did a similar thing. In my opinion, it's EXTREMELY important to teach children the correct names for their body parts, so if something bad happens, they can report it. Good on you for teaching them that.
I am an INFP but yeah I'll probably do the same thing. I used to think there was something wrong with me, but knowing that other people do this too makes me better lol
I'm dying laughing! So accurate. When my daughter was young, I said no to her. She kept pressing and whining, trying to change my mind. I told her that her whining made it impossible for me to change my mind, because it would teach her that whining is an effective negotiation strategy. Changing my mind would only invite more whining in the future. She thought about it for a few seconds and agreed with me. And all this time, I thought this was normal.
I have had that exact conversation with my son. He has heard, "Has the complaining and whining won you anything with me in the past?? What makes you think it will work now?" a few times now 🤣.
Yes! I taught my kids that begging would get them an absolute, "No." I would overhear them telling their friends not to beg me or else it will be a "no." lol
🧡 As an INTJ mom, some of this was exaggerated and hilarious, and some of it was scarily accurate, especially the clothes thing and relying on Dad for being in the emotional support role, although he's also INTJ. My poor kid 😂. As long as she's dressed in something appropriate for the weather, I don't care what it looks like. Also, I definitely often parent through disclaimers rather than absolutes ("you can choose to do that, but this might happen. Let me know how it goes"). The only thing I'd say that wasn't fully portrayed is that I love my kid fiercely and am super cuddly with her. She automatically gets a free pass past my INTJ defenses and melts my heart everyday.
Yes! I'm warm and cuddly with the kids. Drive-by kisses and hugs. But I also need space. They learn boundaries from me as well as affection. Everyone else -- if you try to hug me, I'll recoil. Seriously, I did that. Found myself in a group of vampires -- um, vaguely human, huggy, hippy-types. It was horrible.
Def the clothes thing, and also - if its not something that they will get serious damage or illness from - let them learn. You wanna stick your hand in the ant nest? - sure go ahead, let me know how that worked out 😅 and like - chose yourself - if you do this - this will happen, if you do that - that will happen 😅
Same about the love bit. I scared my son the day the school messed up on something relating to him and I went into a super-rare true anger rage and he thought I was mad at him, poor thing!
I'm an INTJ Mom. Everything here is correct except for locking the ice cream with a code. I drill my kids with abstract engineering and science questions instead which my INTP son loves and my ENFP daughter just stares at us with.
alternatively, "if all your friends jumped off a bridge, would you investigate what's going on because that many people plunging to their doom is probably a sign of some impending disaster and maybe joining them is the better option compared to, say, burning alive or being gored to death by a stampede of wild animals."
As an INTJ mom, I feel attacked. 😜I probably said every single line in this video, and I grabbed my kids to watch it and they all are nodding their heads non-stop.😅
My daughter showed me this video. I did everything here except the code to the fridge. I feel so attacked when he said "wait for your Dad to get home so you'll have someone that sympathizes with you." I've said something similar like that to my ENFP daugther quite a bit...
@@eggsnspam I didn't exactly said code to the fridge thing either, but I did say things like, I don't really mind if you eat it as long as you prove to me you ate healthy enough otherwise, or things like well you will have to make up for it by doing something else healthy.😝 But I feel the vibe is right on.
I just always let my kid snack within reasonable boundaries. You can't have a pound of chocolate, but there was usually cheese or fruit, etc. I am also lucky because she really liked veges and would eat peas for a snack, that helped.
From a possibly INTP perspective most of the INTJ parenting approach would have been fine and sometimes more useful than my actual mothers, I never could accept "because I said so" as a valid answer. The only one that wouldn't have been that useful is the fridge code since it wouldn't take long to weigh the toys and work it out, but then I suppose I did also get in trouble once for disassembling the hinges to a locked area I wasn't allowed and having my sister inconveniently return home early. Locks always seemed more of a challenge of a puzzle that had to be solved rather than a restriction.
We INTJ's deal with kids, or anyone, with extreme fairness, reasons, and logic, which I feel is wonderful in raising mentally tough kids. It would totally not work trying to argue with us with emotions. We are extremely honest with no sugar coating, but sometimes just need a little bit more of a human touch.
The thing I’ve discovered what matters so much to me as an INTJ parent is that my kids have freedom to make choices and that they understand the ways their choices impact others. I care less about controlling them and more about ensuring they have autonomy to act and the moral wherewithal not to infringe on other people’s autonomy.
YES! I’m an INTJ preschool teacher so I strive for this for all of my students because we have enough selfish, intellectually SLOPPY adults in the world. 😓 #gentleparentingisanepicfailure
The 'What are you wearing?" portion of the video cracked me up. As an INTJ mom, I totally let my kids wear what they wanted but made buttons for them that said, "I dressed myself" to accompany their outfits.
my daughter lets me pick her clothes for the most part and she's developing a pretty sharp fashion sense as she heads into middle school, my son... firefighter pants and cowboy hats it is...
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I am INTJ but I’m also a preschool teacher so my interactions with kids are mostly between these two. When I was a kid, though, I definitely had the INTJ responses to other kids/ adults. I remember acknowledging that I hate to cook and clean when I was 9 surrounded by several women including my mom. One older women asked me, “Well, then how are you going to get married?” I replied, “I’ll marry a chef.” It took a couple of years for me to realize that she probably thought I was a smart-mouth (translation: rude and disrespectful) little poo! I just thought my solution was reasonable and practical! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 And I STILL don’t cook and clean! 😜
This! It took years for me to realize people thought I was being a smart ass when I gave them my very logical answers to their hypothetical questions. The problem was two fold in that 1. I didn't understand the questions were rhetorical and 2. I didn't know people thought it rude to not bow to their opinions. I've gotten better at recognizing rhetorical questions, at least.
INFJ here, I have no problem with cleaning(even though it’s exhausting but I love a clean space) however I hate cooking and definitely got the “how are you gonna feed your husband? Bla bla bla” well, by marrying a man who cooks and actually enjoys it
fake intj Rule 1 of intj we never have a selfie profile picture and we always judge selfies. As the king of intj's i declare you to be the biggest scum in history.
INTJ Mom here, and this was hilariously accurate. The only thing lacking is the number of times I try to make a weird (probably dark) joke that doesn't land, and then I have to explain I was joking. I'm fiercely protective of my kids' abilities to make their own choices and be themselves. 🧡
crap. well, friend, it ain't just you. i thought it was just me. it's great when one of those dark joke lands, though, and makes your bestie spit-take her glass of water. :D
I feel attacked. Literally the other day my offspring told me how they tore up the lawn of a guy they hated and I lectured them on the legal ramifications. And I told them I was fine with chatgpt because they already know how to study.
@@kristae.7686 I'm testing the Google AI and when I read they chose that wording "the AI hallucinates" it gave me they know it's actually sentient so are using terminology mostly reserved for humans but won't admit it vibes. The wording choice is quite interesting given they could have said it's simply not developed enough and may give incorrect information.
As an INTJ, I can report that I say “I love you” to my family all the time, in part because clearly stating your intentions and objectives streamlines communication and the interpersonal relationships you value most. ❤
As a child of an INTJ mother, I can confirm that this is THE MOST accurate representation on the planet right down to the glasses. Felt like she was sending me a message through the screen 😂😩 Update: Had my mum watch and she wholeheartedly agrees.
As an INTJ who is like that mom EXACTLY, I seriously envy you. It was hard having a ESFJ mom growing up, she was basically the child and me the parent lol
@@enwe6487 i don't know what my mom's personality type is but she's definitely not INTJ. i, on the other hand, matched every single point on this sketch from the protein shakes for breakfast (more nutritionally complete AND way faster, which means more time for sleeping) to the "maybe your father with sympathize with you"
@@nataliemunoz8600I can’t stand people who won’t allow someone else to wear firefighter pants, a baseball jersey, and a cowboy hat. Makes me wonder if they care about anything that matters
As an INTJ, this is why I want to be a mom. Use your brain, teach children to teach themselves, watch their brains and personalities develop, scare the normal moms. It sounds pretty great to me. Almost worth the lack of sleep and the financial burden. 🧡
Yeah, you’d think, but uhhhh, if your kid doesn’t respond well to the “over explaining”, the need to establish an environment to promote neural pathways for their benefit, it’s just grounds for their annoyance/frustration/eye rolling/shutdown/disrespect. *speaking from experience. My mistake was assuming there would be *some* common traits I’d have with my daughter. I never expected a mini me, just to have some common ground that she’d respond to. It’s a massive sense of failure. I don’t recommend it unless your able to really go against your personality/nature and allow them to guide what parenting they respond to. It’s very uncomfortable.
I am a homeschooling INTJ mom (non religious) of four children. In retrospect, this is what I was going for too. They’re each very different from me (including two extroverts!), so I’ve had to learn to adjust and appreciate what they bring to the world, but all in all it’s been a fabulous ride. I appreciate most people more now. There are no inherently negative traits.
Yes! I've found being an INTJ mom very hard but very rewarding. The early years are super hard because of the overexplaining and expecting rational responses thing, but I've found it gets better. It also helps that my oldest is also an INTJ. My biggest warning is to never read parenting books because the advice never rings true. Trust yourself, be yourself, and don't let other people make you feel like you're a failure. It's okay to tell your kids that you're not like other moms - they may actually grow to appreciate your weirdness. And it IS fun to scare the normal moms a little. Muhaha.
There should be! 😂 My INFP mom could provide plenty of content. Like, the household pets are your siblings, setbacks are turned into fun games, and God FORBID anything major is scheduled during a full moon.
My daughter is an INTJ. She was an enigma to me the first few years. Once I understood her personality I learned to enjoy her qualities. They are truly loyal, stoic truth tellers.
think thats how my dad feels about me and im in my thirties lol "i dont get it" is a common phrase 🤣 heck i don't even get myself but im too proud and stoic to tell you dad because in the grand scheme of things its not important , what is important is we are both still alive and thats all :) Glad you understood her eventually and can now appreciate that ^^
@@imanigolden-garcia344 i used to get that a lot when i was younger, but now that i’m older i became wiser and a bit more likeable. You can learn anything you want, including social skills
My fiancé is INTJ. I am an ENFJ. We are planning on kids next year. I feel like “wait until your dad gets home so you have someone to sympathize with you” is a probable dynamic
@@Gigi-wb8pe, our May 28th wedding was our 9 year anniversary of meeting in person (we dated online for 3 months before that.) I am currently 34 and she is 32.
I know INTJs are known to be very oriented around achieving their goals while ENFJs are very focused around motivating/supporting others to achieve goals. This is probably part of the reason it's a potential power couple combo. I've certainly seen evidence of this dynamic in our relationship. If we are both working toward the same goal it works well.
So what I'm getting out this is that my mom is an INTJ (same as me) because all of these are conversations we had, right down to how I learned to cook in the second grade because I wanted eggs so she pulled up a stool to stand on at the stove and taught me how to make eggs and from that day onwards I made my own breakfast. My dad once described my mom's parenting style as "she raised you girls like cats, left the door open at night and as long as you were in your beds in the morning clearly everything turned out okay!" Counterpoint, my mom describes her parenting style as "you girls were doing your own thing, I didn't want to get in your way." 🤷 There was plenty of "I'm not going to tell you no, but I don't think that's going to turn out how you think it will." 😉
That’s very interesting, my experience with an INTJ [dad] was wildly different. Although being the oldest/only daughter never helps. But everything growing up was his way or the highway.
the protein shake for breakfast was the realest for me. not that that's how my mom was, that's how i am as a mom. i feel guilty because they're literally just having a beverage for breakfast but IT HAS ALL THE VITAMINS AND NUTRIENTS and not cooking a whole smorgasbord (which i hate cooking anyway, ESPECIALLY first thing in the morning) means they get to sleep in later. am i gonna ask them to sacrifice 30-45 minutes of sleep so they can have eggs instead of the molecular components of eggs in a delicious chocolate shake form? tl;dr - the phrase "drink your breakfast" is heard on a near-daily basis in my car.
lol this is so relatable - At first the INTJ in me was totally agreeing to these parenting techniques, but for a developing child with emotional needs, we would be terrifying moms 🥲
Nah, INTJs can make great moms. I know a lady at church who is not only a great INTJ mom to her own kids, but she’s basically the mom of the congregation. Everyone comes to her with their problems. And honestly as an INTJ lady myself, it was great to have such an amazing lady to look up to when I was growing up. You got potential, so don’t sell yourself short! 😊
The maternal instinct to nurture is stronger than you think. I’m an INTJ with three kids, and while I can get a bit too cerebral sometimes, I still make it a point to outwardly show love and affection. Applied correctly INTJs have natural super powers we can apply to parenting that most other types do not have.
@@TwylaPrice 🤣🤣🤣 If you knew me, you’d know how hilarious it is to suggest that I’m an extrovert. Contrary to popular belief, being an INTJ, or an introvert for that matter, doesn’t actually equate to being antisocial. I love people, I just find them exhausting. Besides, well-behaved kids are awesome. I’ve got so many great nieces and nephews, who are such a joy to be around. Unlike adults, kids are honest and straightforward, and they don’t judge you for having poor social skills. 😂
I took it more as you might be like me or you might not just make sure you do well cause I really don’t won’t to be the hypocrite telling you to do your homework cool
It's so accurate my mother is an intj and I really don't understand why are all the people telling me: wow she must be very strict with you, while in reality my mom just isn't like that at all, basically intjs are not strict they just look like that from the outside maybe, but they're actually very kind and nice and thoughtful , my mom isn't strict with me at all she just doesn't really pay attention to the standards of a child these days for example ( grades, hobbies, future etc...) She just really doesn't see a point of being very serious about these stuff ,she always tells me I'm happy with what you do or want as long it's not affecting you in a negative way , she just sees no point for that , now I'm not also saying she Just doesn't care about anything about me ( neglecting me) ,when she sees there is something wrong that I have to stop or something that is effecting me negatively, she tells me to stop and think about this for a while until I see it's wrong or I just don't and trust her because she knows what best for me, also intjs tend to give their loved ones freedom in choosing whatever they want from(hobbies, and future jobs) they don't push you in any thing because they personally hate that, and they also tend to dive into your interests even if it doesn't mean anything to them or sounds boring or useless to them, they're just so sweet in my opinion. also my mom really does alot for me just to make me happy and I'm very lucky to have such a great mom like her despite mbti types, she really is the best.
I'm an INTJ mom and this was disturbingly accurate. I'm not sure if I should be proud or ashamed. Protein shake, 3 hours till bedtime, wait till your father gets home, homework, you have a choice where one option is the correct one. Yikes! My now adult child and I have never had a fight though, and are really close, so something worked!
Honestly sounds like a chill and enjoyable mom. As a kid, I wanted to be challenged, but with reason rather than guilt or somebody else's to-do list. INTJ mom seems pretty awesome. Just maybe waffles sometimes ❤ from an INFP🎉
How about pancakes? It's my speciality, I can make the best pancakes. But honestly we INTJs mostly seem severe and distant, you can't guess what's going on in our heads. Not sure if it's really good for children but hey maybe I will find out in the future 🙂
My experience with an INTJ mom is good. We argue over literally everything, but in in a good way (keep in mind I'm an ENTP). She's passed on her love of classical music and rap, and we talk often. Our house is always spotless tho, and our rooms are expected to be kept the same.
@@Jooney91 well we'll find out lol I personally don't like children alot but I'm reasonable when I take care of them (they find me interesting to say the least)
INTJ uncle here, made waffles, my highly predictable ISFP niece was overjoyed. Of course i adapted a nutritionally sound pancake recipe using bananas, coconut, egg and honey. She's eating healthy even if she doesn't think she is when she's in *my* house!
I'm old and feel the same. Maybe a cat mom since I feed the neighbor's cat a few times a week. She escapes out the window to greet me. Cat likes options and is on my channel.

“Giving her spiels” Why is this so accurate? I’ve always called them rants, but that’s never felt accurate because there’s usually not a lot of emotion behind it. “Spiels” is perfect. Thank you
I love how James' face turns blank and expressionless when impersonating an INTJ because that's exactly how our faces are. We show zero emotions and we don't even know we're doing it.😂
Which makes it so hard to have convos with y’all as an F-type. Because if I get emotional, I get MORE emotional because I’m the only one showing emotion and it makes me feel like a hot mess
Hi, I’m an INTJ and I once got bullied by my ex bff (for a week and a half) and while we were trying to solve the problem because I had enough and just told her I didn’t want to be her friend anymore I was just looking at her with the calmest face I could do and she was literally crying on the floor saying she was so sorry and explaining to me why she did all of that but apparently I seemed scary because a teacher entered the room and almost screamed at ME for bullying her 😂😂😂 but then I explained and there was also another time a little later while still solving the problem that she told me that I looked so cold BRUH THAT’S NORMAL… WHAT YOU WANT ME TO LOOK FRIENDLY OR SOMETHING…? But yeah apparently my « calm » face was actually a death stare 😂😂😂 there was also another time she asked me to look away because I scared her too much 😂😂😂 now that I know I’m INTJ, well that’s just normal I guess! By the way you probably didn’t care but for people who are wondering, NO I’m not her friend anymore and I don’t even talk to her REALLY she tried re-becoming my friend many times after that like even MONTHS later she would come to me and ask « Could you please eat lunch with me? » like to start over I guess but I did my regular resting face; death stare and just said: « No. » There was also when she asked me if O was more likely to lunch with her before or after the winter break and I told her: « After the winter break. » which in my head meant never since there is technically infinite time after that (Or I mean not infinite if like the Universe ends someday then yeah there’ll be no time anymore) but yeah and so she asked again after and I explained to her: « There’s infinite time after the winter break. I meant someday and not like the immediate month we return from winter break. » 😂😂😂 she never spoke to me again! 😄😄😄
I'm a tutor. One of my students is a little girl and her mom (who's now also my student) is an INTJ. I can confirm that she's the best mother I've ever seen. She also decided to study Italian which I was teaching to daughter to be on the same page with her💗💗💗 Her taste in books is fantastic and it's always so nice to talk to her. I'm already planning on learning new things with my kids just as an excuse to keep learning. I feel like I might need those (excuses) since I tend to attract normal people for reasons I shall never understand😂
@@nataliemunoz8600 oh, hello! She definitely is! I have many adult students and she's one of the best. 1.She's diligent and smart, doesn't have much time but somehow always has her homework done. 2. If she or her daughter are busy and we skip classes or change the time she lets me know beforehand and not some 15 minutes past the begging of the class as it happens sometimes (hi, my ESTP student 💀). though she has a small tendency to forget about the class if we've changed the time or the date, but it's alright, I understand that. 3. In the education process she likes the structure so I have to be less chaotic than usual and well-prepared. it's a good thing, I develop my own skills through that. 4. She's highly intuitive and quick, I don't have to explain a lot and repeat myself for 10 times. 5. As with all the languages, we talk a lot, and it's always a pleasure to talk to her (if I manage to shut tf up and just listen, which is hard for me because I'm getting involved into it and forget it's not a regular conversation). @@rue-teelanga4090 that's amazing! It's so nice to see supportive parents! Have seen these things a lot and it's always soooo sad
As an INTJ mom, can confirm the accuracy 😂 The clothes thing is so accurate 😂 one other - I hate last minute shopping so I would ask teachers to give me a supply list for every project they were going to do that year including materials lists. I’d buy everything up front and organize it in a storage closet for my kids to grab what they needed through the year. If the teacher deviated or added a new project…not my problem 😂 I actually told a 3rd grade teacher once, “you’ve done this before right? So you should know what materials my kid needs well in advance…”
OMG! Our school district never makes that easy. They send things out two days ahead, say a request in November on a Monday to wear purple pants on Wednesday. I always think why didn’t you tell me in September that I would need this? I could have bought it all then!
this is actually a brilliant idea. i grew up in a family without own transportation so we always used public transport whenever we want to go to the city. to cut the transportation cost, my mom would only restock our groceries once every 2 months (so we'd buy in bulks that can last for ages). for school supply, every end-year school holiday, my mom would buy pencil, erasers and pens in dozens or in big boxes that can last me and my siblings for a whole year. As an intj myself, i never noticed how this was actually convenient for me. i'll be applying this for my kids but with different reasons ofc😂
I finally feel seen! This is wonderfully accurate. The flat voice vs. normal (what sounds to me like annoying singsong) is spot on. I am totally adding "start gearing up for that" and "your mileage may vary" to my repertoire. I'm married to an INTJ, oldest child is an INTJ, youngest is a potential INTJ but too soon to tell. We are a very intense family, haha! 🧡
I'm so glad to hear someone else notices that annoying sing-songy voice so many people have today. It sounds as if every statement is a question! Or, worse - "fry voice"!!
INFP with an INTJ mum, here. I never felt like she was difficult to read or anything, but, I mean, I did grow up with her. I always felt she was fair and reasonable, although when we butted horns I wasn't able to win an argument with her, which was frustrating. Passive resistance was more what I ended up going with as a consequence. Growing up herself, she absolutely hated being told "Because I said so!", thinking, "What kind of reason is that!?" So raising us, we were lectured about what we did wrong, why it was wrong, and the consequences of it. For up to 30mins~1hr, sometimes. "I'm sorry! Please let me leave already!" But as long as we weren't in a pointless why-loop, asking questions was always encouraged and answered. And she and my dad (also INFP) deliberately trained us to sleep in, rather than trying to get us up as the "normal" mum is here! 😂
INTJ mom here. When "disciplining" my son I would point to the expression on my face and say, "What does the look say?" He would then launch into a paragraph long description of what he was seeing in that expression, along with possible outcomes of the different scenarios. Though I didn't have any long term goals in mind with this exercise, now looking back I believe it helped him to develop critcal thinking and to be more observant. He is now 44 years old, driving a rig on the ice roads up in the Yukon. Recently he took the MBTI test and discovered he is an INTJ as well.
Im kinda the same with the face expressions. My whole fam is kinda scared or weirded out by my expressions but my face doesn't really express my thoughts or feelings very well though. So everyone gets confused by me cause I seem cold but that's not what I see inside myself so I literally have to explain my feelings or intentions so they don't get defensive or something. Im an INFJ though.
This makes me feel like guilty as a mom. Thank you. It takes all kinds. Sometimes I feel bad that I’m not that Instagram mom, but then I look at my kids and that guilt disappears. I’m glad there’s a lot of appreciation of moms of all types in the comments too. ❤
Don’t ever feel bad. Your kids will grow up having life skills to survive the world. The Instagram mom’s kids are going to be crying for mommy at the first sign of discomfort. 😉
"Your mileage may vary." Thank you, Frank. I always wondered what type of mother I would have been. A pretty damn good one. And I could have shared my protein shake while preparing an Excel spreadsheet of everything that my child needed to get done during the day, including a timeline, a flowchart and a map. And then I would have done one for myself. All before the kid actually finished the protein shake, brushed their teeth and got dressed in whatever they wanted to wear, as long as they understood that going to school in January in Montana in shorts might not be the best idea they ever had, but to quote Jeff Foxworthy, let them pull it on their head a few times - they'll learn.
Learned so much from my enfj mom: like for instance positivity, conversation skills, joie vivre & how to play the social field; Very important for an intj. Just protect her from petty teachers & kids.
I don't know that my mom has ever taken the Briggs Meyers, but she has a lot of INTJ tendencies. I am an INTJ, and probably am that way because of how she raised me. My mom believed in logic and rationality and was always willing to listen to a logical and rational argument. She taught me that it was important to understand why a rule was in place and not to blindly follow rules. She was ok with us making mistakes as long as we cleaned up afterwards. She pushed us to solve our own problems, and allowed us our independence, but was available if we ran into an emergency. If we did get into a real problem, she would handle it without dragging us through an unnecessary guilt trip or additional chewing out, but expected that we would not make the same mistake twice. She wasn't always the best at the emotional stuff, but I'd say the experience was more positive than negative by far.
As an INTJ mother, this is so accurate! I love the monotonous lectures!! And I try to chill out on the sarcasm lol!! But my kids get it Mommy is funny even when I have a dead serious look on my face🤦🏻♀️🤣
This is all so accurate. My son laughs at me all the time because he finds my INTJ traits amusing which I love. Most people don’t /like/ my traits. When I say “I love you” when he goes to bed, I sometimes say it like the INTJ mom in this video, and he thinks it’s HILARIOUS. I don’t realize I’m talking monotone until he points it out. 😂😂😂 He’s an ISTP 14-year-old, by the way.
INTJ mom here: For years, bedtime was reading books aloud to one another. Reading the same preschool books over and over was tedious, but when we got into chapter books (like the Hank the Cow Dog series), it was great! And the repetition of the preschool books was teaching him to read, so no complaints looking back.
I hear you! So glad the kiddos are into chapter books now. And what's even better is one of their favorite series is a series I loved growing up too so like. Win/win..... until the kid starts with the "mom did you know".... and then I go on a very long story of not just DO I KNOW But! Did YOU KNOW?
Omg the Hank the Cowdog books made me howl with laughter more than a few times as a kid. (INTJ kid who tried to read the whole library row by row. I didn't have enough time!)
As an INJT mother, I agree with everyone saying how accurate this is. The borderline monotone voice was a fantastic touch that is also weirdly accurate. 😅
I feel so seen as an INTJ and I'm not even a mom yet. For bedtime I'd be like, "Well it's time to sleep. Although it is ultimately up to you whether you actually rest. You just have to be ready for school at 7am no matter whether you slept or not. Unless you want to be home schooled. Actually let's look into that option"
Yup. Homeschooling INTJ mom. Instead of an actual picture, my son saved an image in his phone contacts that just says "fuck around and find out" in fancy script for me. 🤣
Enjoy this period of your life when you are not suffering from insomnia. 😂😂😂😂 As a Middle Aged stressed out single mother, I can appreciate that one!! I’m an INTP mom with ADHD, but I still found this hilarious! 😊
As an INTJ mum all I can say is, my kids really dodged a bullet to be born INTJ and INTP. So they’re ok when I explain why I’ve added protein powder to the porridge. Enjoyed this , I may not have expressed that joy, but that’s beside the point 👏 🙏
INTJ Mom of 3 girls (ages 17-26) here. A lot of that was almost exactly word for word accurate, but I was an INTJ K-12 Homeschool Mom for 25 years, which is like being an INTJ Mom on steroids. Yep, we're those moms who are more consistent with consequences and we we're not at all bothered by crying kids when implementing them. Also, being an INTJ homeschool Mom means being allergic to busywork, so our kids graduate high school early and start college early.
I'm an INTJ homeschooling mom too! My daughter started college at 16. I'm like, why waste time doing stupid busy work. If you can drive, you can start college and get a jump start on life. She is doing well in life.
My kids didn’t have the terrible two phase. They didn’t freak out in the stores. Even put back toys as we left. Made wish lists for holidays and b-days. Then cried when they got something they didn’t ask for. Loved book stores. My in-laws thought that the way I brought them up was so weird. As a psyche major and INTJ this is just the normal result. Now as young adults they are intelligent, thoughtful, caring and figuring it out. Not part of the “I need attention, I have a self diagnosed victim status” like so many of those around them. And they are amazed at how many kids can’t talk to their parents like they talk to us. I think it’s pretty cool to be so close.
🧡 Brilliant! The references to needing a lawyer because of the optics, and the math problem code serving as the freezer door lock solution -- absolute INTJ perfection. FJ does it again!
@@XSemperIdem5 If I were an INTJ parent- then I would say that figuring out how to bypass the lock without doing the math is just as valid an answer, and that all good problems have more than one way to solve them. 😁😁
As an INTJ mom, my crowning moment was this. I was called into the school 2nd grade, for abuse. I saw that my son had given himself hickies, which he does when he is bored (slight autism), but he was covered in them. The nurse swore that he had bruises all over that looked like fingerprints. Without leading the witness, I asked my son who was scared to death by the attention, to whisper what happened to cause those marks. He did. Nurse still suspicious, blames me. Son laughs and shows her how he did it. It happened at school, not at home, so YOU better fix it. Later, my son had the bright idea to get out of trouble in the future by claiming abuse. I explained that “Dad and I will be fine. You will be taken away and raised by a family of strangers. Let me know what to pack”. Never threatened that again. He is 25 now and wonderful. Scary, yes. Loving, also yes. Taking no sh7t! Definitely.
As an INTJ mom I can confirm. Especially the 10 am thing when my daughter was tired and I was tired I let her play hookey 2 times every six months with me. Also the studying part, even though I ditched all through high school I never had to study once. I would go take the test and make 80-99% in marking. Everyone was shocked and would say how I would do so well if I was never in class lol.
Haha! I like this format! I love that " I'm not mad at you. Why would you think I'm mad. I'm actually in a pretty good mood right now." The whole thing was hilarious. Just one question: What type is the "Normal" mom? 🧡🙌
@@skoaf That is my mom's type... Yes, she acted like that. Throw in lots of schedules and emotions, and attempts to appeal to emotions... and you had the full spectrum. (ENTP)
My mother is INTJ and that phrase is very accurate XDDD The other things of the video aren't like that with my mother, she is more:" you are a human thinking like me, so you can make your own decisions ". And me 5 years old: but you are my mother, isn't it supposed that you have to teach me rules? I'm ENTP by the way XDD
I’m not a parent (yet) but I have helped raise siblings, to the point I was a second parent, I can attest that we INTJs are this way sometimes! We are not cruel, I think, but we tend to be relaxed in ways some parents are not and then difficult in other situations. As long as my kid is self-sufficient, and makes decent choices in how to be self-sufficient, I don’t mind what they do. I also like that despite the exaggerations, I appreciated the mom saying “I love you.” The way we operate doesn’t make us incapable of loving people after all. lol
OMG!!! Except for the code for the fridge and the friends jumping parts… you are 100% spot on!! Literally, word for word!! Laughed about it (natural human emotions) but as I thought about it, .. I have to find new ways to do things .. I can’t be like other humans !! But I swear, I’m going to show my son this video!!
Oh my god I think I have said those exact words re. the smoothie bit. I have always felt bad that I wasn’t more maternal. Being a mother is the hardest thing I’ve had to do. I feel sorry for my son lol
Loved this, thank you! My way of being an INTJ mom- protein shake for breakfast, absolutely! Anyone can make food that kids like to eat, but that would just kill them faster. I love them too much to feed them what I ate as a kid. wear whatever you want as long as it covers the important parts, yes Giving them choices, but telling them what the consequences will be, yes. warnings before bedtime, yes. but then not realizing we're an hour past bedtime until my INFP son decides on his own to go to bed. I love being a mom! I surprised myself with how much I like to smother them with cuddles.
I'm about to be an intj mom soon. I think the biggest thing for me will be honesty no matter what. No sugar coating or saying things to make them "feel better." If they are asking questions, I'm giving them truth regardless of the consequences.
My mom is INTJ. This is accurate. She didn’t often tell us she loved us when we were kids and said we should know that she does. Was bewildered at the idea that we needed reassurance of it.
😂😂😂😂 as an INTJ mom, YES on the protein shake 😂😂😂 they have at least two Orgain Whey protein shakes a day😆 and they wore costumes all the time (and still take blankets to turn them into capes, even as young adults 😂). And yes, showering with hugs and kisses and love because balance ❤️
Yep my son got to go out wearing a batman costume whilst holding his barbie doll toy. Plus I think I've told them at least 20 times a day since the day they were born that I love them
My mom is an INTJ (I think) but she's kind of an unhealthy INTJ, she grew up without a mother so I understand, but also, it was quite hard growing up with her because of the lack of emotional support and other physical negligence too, she was never the person who likes to get hugged or says "I love you", but shows it her own way (buying us stuff we need and helping our surroundings be clean and nice) Even with all the difficulties, now that I grew up, I am more able to see what my mom did for her children, she went out of her way many times even if we didn't notice that earlier, I love her and I will continue to do, as hard as it is. I love my "INTJ" mom❤ Att: her INFP child lolol
Yes i can relate. My aunty is an INTJ. Her children are all messed up because she was always emotionally distant. Her daughter is an ENFP. She suffers from multiple personality disorder. Her INTJ mum never took her to the doctors refusing to admit her daughter was mentally unwell. My ENFP cousin has moved far away and no longer speaks to her mum.
It also makes it very hard to buy into the whole: my kids are the best thing that ever happened to me thing when you have an emotionally distant parent
@@secretspywoman26 Multiple personality disorder doesn’t come from being emotionally distant. It comes from extreme abuse and trauma before the age of 7. There’s way more to the story than you’re aware of.
@@s.stevens4520 yes my cousin suffered chronic abuse through her childhood. Her INTJ mother knew but she did not acknowledge the abuse sadly. She was an active participant in her abuse. I think my Aunty is a very unhealthy INTJ.
I am glad my mommy is neither "normal" nor INTJ. A female Loki as a mom is precious. 🤣😂Plus, she knew that if all my friends jumped off a bridge, it would be because I pushed them (out of curiosity of course). On the other hand, having a normal mom would have saved me from showing up at school in my PJs and slippers so many times.🤓
Okay. So I'm an INTJ (obviously, 'cause who else would click on this video and actually got interested/entertained enough to leave a comment). And I believe that is a VERY accurate way in which I predict myself to behave when I'll become a mom. So props to you 🧡

Let’s face it. INTJ’s are some of the most interesting people you’ll ever meet.
I have all of the force of personality of a potted fern 🤨
My ex girlfriend was INTJ. She's demanding too much like she wants you to be capable in anything like superhero or superdad someday. So she doesn't lose face when facing her family and friends.
Yeah I hear that often. 🤷♀️
We know, and you’re welcome.
That's so true. Whenever there is an intj character in a movie / book / series I like them the most, because they're like a riddle. You don't see their full personality at first but you know it's very deep
"I am not asking you, simply presenting you with two options"

Yes. My younger kids’ friends think I’m super strict while my college aged child told me she’s one of the very few whose parents aren’t tracking her via cellphone.
Not really, I have anger issues at home.
@@irecyclechildrenandthisism5944 Well, not every person of the same personality type is exactly the same. And I hope things get better at home.
@@ruthredding3749 Nah, I have some mental issues.
@@alinacyraniak334I am intj your half right I don't like bullying.

I've been thinking about making a t-shirt with, "I'm not mad, it's just my face."
People keep thinking I’m sad but I just have naturally down turned eyes
I learned to just smile every time someone looks at me. I find it puts people at ease. And they mistakenly think I have it all together all the time. When all else fails, buff.

HAHAHA LMAO THIS IS SO FREAKING ACCURATE
INTJ here, married to an INFJ, we're expecting our first child and I know the "just wait till your father gets home ... and then maybe you'll have someone who sympathizes with you" is gonna be ACCURATE AF.
I'm in the same situation with our baby being already 10 month old. I already don't take crap from her when she just whines but my husband is always so understanding, that doesn't save me from his laughs when our baby has a real problem and I go into protective mama bear mode
As an INTJ mom this is very accurate, and my husband is an ESTJ! I am the voice of reason.
lol
I am in INFJ married to an INTJ 😂😂
my mom is INTJ and my dads ISFJ and those vibes are very strong in our household 😂
Same
If I ever have kids, I'll probably do that same thing. My parents also did a similar thing. In my opinion, it's EXTREMELY important to teach children the correct names for their body parts, so if something bad happens, they can report it. Good on you for teaching them that.
😆
Grew up with an intj parent and really appreciated conversation that treated me as if I could understand.
😂😂 yes !!
No offence but I think ENTJs, ENTPs, INTPs would probably say the same/a similar thing.
Yes! I taught my kids that begging would get them an absolute, "No." I would overhear them telling their friends not to beg me or else it will be a "no." lol
My mom says the same thing to my younger brother, for some reason it doesn't work with him
I love the way the INTJ mom is just chill, in a way sarcastic and lowkey cold😂😂
Totally the clothes thing. 😅

alternatively, "if all your friends jumped off a bridge, would you investigate what's going on because that many people plunging to their doom is probably a sign of some impending disaster and maybe joining them is the better option compared to, say, burning alive or being gored to death by a stampede of wild animals."

HAHA!! Part of what made this so hilarious was the "normal mother" sticking around in the background, making random facial expressions and gestures. 🤣

One older women asked me, “Well, then how are you going to get married?” I replied, “I’ll marry a chef.” It took a couple of years for me to realize that she probably thought I was a smart-mouth (translation: rude and disrespectful) little poo!
Muhaha.
Will this be a 16 personalities Mom series? 😄
As always, this was great!
I hope so! 🤞
I need more of this mom series ❤
There should be! 😂 My INFP mom could provide plenty of content. Like, the household pets are your siblings, setbacks are turned into fun games, and God FORBID anything major is scheduled during a full moon.
Yes, please! 🎉
Yeeeees all of them! Hmm, what’s the “normal” one? ENFJ? ESFJ?
My daughter is an INTJ. She was an enigma to me the first few years. Once I understood her personality I learned to enjoy her qualities. They are truly loyal, stoic truth tellers.
yes, absolutely, especially the loyal truth tellers part.
I wish lmao people just tell me I’m mean & that I act like I’m better than everyone else
@@imanigolden-garcia344 Those people aren't worth your time. They're usually ignorant or insecure, usually both.
think thats how my dad feels about me and im in my thirties lol "i dont get it" is a common phrase 🤣 heck i don't even get myself but im too proud and stoic to tell you dad because in the grand scheme of things its not important , what is important is we are both still alive and thats all :)
Glad you understood her eventually and can now appreciate that ^^
@@imanigolden-garcia344 i used to get that a lot when i was younger, but now that i’m older i became wiser and a bit more likeable. You can learn anything you want, including social skills
My fiancé is INTJ. I am an ENFJ. We are planning on kids next year. I feel like “wait until your dad gets home so you have someone to sympathize with you” is a probable dynamic
How long have you been dating and how old are you both? Just curious. INTJ here.
Hahah, same here. I’m a INTJ and my husband is ENFJ. It works very well, I just feel so free around him
"I never did my homework when I was at school but I was so smart I was still able to pass with straight As"
Best quote about my life EVER
But everything growing up was his way or the highway.
this is so me omg lol
They raise you like you’re AI
the protein shake for breakfast was the realest for me. not that that's how my mom was, that's how i am as a mom. i feel guilty because they're literally just having a beverage for breakfast but IT HAS ALL THE VITAMINS AND NUTRIENTS and not cooking a whole smorgasbord (which i hate cooking anyway, ESPECIALLY first thing in the morning) means they get to sleep in later. am i gonna ask them to sacrifice 30-45 minutes of sleep so they can have eggs instead of the molecular components of eggs in a delicious chocolate shake form?
tl;dr - the phrase "drink your breakfast" is heard on a near-daily basis in my car.
lol this is so relatable - At first the INTJ in me was totally agreeing to these parenting techniques, but for a developing child with emotional needs, we would be terrifying moms 🥲
@@HeartlandHunny Are you Suuuree your not leaning more Entj????? Like maybe ambivert ntj ????
The maternal instinct to nurture is stronger than you think. I’m an INTJ with three kids, and while I can get a bit too cerebral sometimes, I still make it a point to outwardly show love and affection. Applied correctly INTJs have natural super powers we can apply to parenting that most other types do not have.
Nah, INTJs are great parents!
“Your mileage may vary.”
Kid: “Did you just tell me you think I’m stupid?”
💀🤣🤣
I believe she did!
I took it more as you might be like me or you might not just make sure you do well cause I really don’t won’t to be the hypocrite telling you to do your homework cool
I'd go with “less smart”. 😅
I would say this to my kids.
Yes, but kindly.
Waffles are for weekends. You need nutrition to face school and work.

Great video.
You're an INTJ and you use an apostrophe in plurals?
My favorite was: “Just wait until your father gets home and then maybe you’ll have someone who sympathizes with you.” 😂
I loved the mannerisms from the “normal” mom as the INTJ mom was giving her spiels, lol.
“Giving her spiels” Why is this so accurate? I’ve always called them rants, but that’s never felt accurate because there’s usually not a lot of emotion behind it. “Spiels” is perfect. Thank you
Guess I'm rewatching this now.
Are any of the 16 personalities considered more 'normal moms' than the others? Just curious..would LOVE your expertise!💖
Yes, I’ve had emotional people get upset at me appearing so calm, especially at work. The truth is I get stressed too! It’s just not super obvious.

Everything in her flat is so well structured, and her time management is incredible, she always have time for her daughter. She also decided to study Italian which I was teaching to daughter to be on the same page with her💗💗💗
Her taste in books is fantastic and it's always so nice to talk to her. But she says that her daughter is definitely better than her in social interactions and gets along with people much easier. But I think she's an incredible woman and mother. 🧡🧡🧡
I'm an ENFP 🧡
I'm already planning on learning new things with my kids just as an excuse to keep learning. I feel like I might need those (excuses) since I tend to attract normal people for reasons I shall never understand😂
INTJ btw
INTJ from Chile over here.
So I understand you are their italian tutor?
How is the mom learning, did you notice she's a good student?
She's a little bit shy and quiet when she speaks, but we found the topics she's interested in and it went much better!
So, yes! She is a good student for sure 💗💗💗
Thank you for asking ^^
@@rue-teelanga4090 that's amazing! It's so nice to see supportive parents! Especially in comparison to those who just make their children learn things they aren't interested in (like when a mother wanted to be a ballerina and instead of going to dance classes herself, makes her child do that.) Have seen these things a lot and it's always soooo sad
😂 lol
Woah! I totally love this and I definitely will use this move 😃
OMG! Our school district never makes that easy. They send things out two days ahead, say a request in November on a Monday to wear purple pants on Wednesday. I always think why didn’t you tell me in September that I would need this? I could have bought it all then!
Gasp..there are others? Last minute shopping is the worst!
this is actually a brilliant idea. i grew up in a family without own transportation so we always used public transport whenever we want to go to the city. to cut the transportation cost, my mom would only restock our groceries once every 2 months (so we'd buy in bulks that can last for ages). for school supply, every end-year school holiday, my mom would buy pencil, erasers and pens in dozens or in big boxes that can last me and my siblings for a whole year.

"I'm sorry! Please let me leave already!"
But as long as we weren't in a pointless why-loop, asking questions was always encouraged and answered.
Driving on ice roads in Yukon sounds like a nice, peaceful but still satisfyingly challenging occupation.
“Your bedtime is in 3 hours, better start gearing up for it” really spoke to me. I actually talk to myself like this all the time.
"I'm not a monster, I'm just an INTJ."
Thank you Frank for showing the human side of INTJ!
"Your mileage may vary."
Thank you, Frank.
I'm an ENFJ with an INTJ daughter. This actually puts my parenting experience into better perspective. 😂
Learned so much from my enfj mom: like for instance positivity, conversation skills, joie vivre & how to play the social field; Very important for an intj. Just protect her from petty teachers & kids.
My esfj mom is going through it and I don’t even do anything 😂
I’m an ISTJ and I feel like most of this would definitely apply to me…if it weren’t for the fact that I’d NEVER have kids in the first place. 🧡
same.
felt bout the last part (except I'm an INTJ), and my ISTJ best friend wouls also agree with you
Same but I’m an INTJ
Yep. ISTJs & INTJs are a lot alike.
Istjs make awesome parents! My dad is one!
I think i read the same book !! 😮😮Wow!! Its not a common book !
My mom made me read my books. Or maybe I just told her I'd prefer to read my own books at bedtime.
"Wait til your father comes home, and somebody might sympathize with you." Honestly, that'll probably be me when I'm a mom.
Stay-at-home INTJ dad here. I once saw a message from my boy to his friend, "Normally he's cool but he can be a controlling bitch!"... So, yeah ✌️

I'm an INTJ that was homeschooled and I tried twice to graduate early but was always given more busy work...
MY MOM IS AN INTJ AND THIS IS SO ACCURATE
I do wanna add that me and her are unfortunately robots.
Im an INFJ but I can totally relate to this, that's kinda how I would be if I was a mom. But tbh I like the INTJ mom more than the "normal" mom. 🧡
🧡 Brilliant! The references to needing a lawyer because of the optics, and the math problem code serving as the freezer door lock solution -- absolute INTJ perfection. FJ does it again!
But see, as an INTJ I would just quickly learn how to bypass that lock instead of doing math 😂
@@XSemperIdem5 If I were an INTJ parent- then I would say that figuring out how to bypass the lock without doing the math is just as valid an answer, and that all good problems have more than one way to solve them. 😁😁
I think this is one of the sweetest videos you’ve ever done. Thank you. People do treat us like we have no feelings.
0:36 my favorite part when the normal mom peeks over the waffles. 😂
I was thinking the same thing 😂
Definitely.
I love that you went there. Though adding a scene where the child wants a hug would be classic.
"You think I'm a monster? I'm just an INTJ." So relative.
"I'm not mad. Why would you think I'm mad?" As an INTJ mom, I've used this phrase a lot. Plus the legal explanations to things. Spot on!
The happiness in my face after seeing this title❤❤❤
As an INTJ, I can definitely see myself being like this if I ever have a kid. 😂
I’m an INTJ, pregnant with my firstborn-to-be, with chronic insomnia. This video makes me even more excited about motherhood.
Best wishes to you! Get ready for the ride of your life! ❤
Intj momming is great! We are basically Atticus Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird.
Haha! I like this format! I love that " I'm not mad at you. Why would you think I'm mad. I'm actually in a pretty good mood right now." The whole thing was hilarious. Just one question: What type is the "Normal" mom? 🧡🙌
I think it's an isfj, because my mom acts like the "normal mom"
@@skoaf That is my mom's type... Yes, she acted like that. Throw in lots of schedules and emotions, and attempts to appeal to emotions... and you had the full spectrum. (ENTP)
I think most FJ and most Extravert could behave like that around small children ;)
My mother is INTJ and that phrase is very accurate XDDD
The other things of the video aren't like that with my mother, she is more:" you are a human thinking like me, so you can make your own decisions ". And me 5 years old: but you are my mother, isn't it supposed that you have to teach me rules?
I'm ENTP by the way XDD
@@Lizzzi86 oh no! 😸
My way of being an INTJ mom-
protein shake for breakfast, absolutely! Anyone can make food that kids like to eat, but that would just kill them faster. I love them too much to feed them what I ate as a kid.
wear whatever you want as long as it covers the important parts, yes
Giving them choices, but telling them what the consequences will be, yes.
warnings before bedtime, yes. but then not realizing we're an hour past bedtime until my INFP son decides on his own to go to bed.
I love being a mom! I surprised myself with how much I like to smother them with cuddles.
As an intj mom, this is extremely accurate. My poor child 😂
I'm checking in with my kids to see if they agree.
Dont worry, when they grow older, they will thank you for not being too strict nor too reserved
As an INTJ dad, a lot of those are still accurately portrayed. Love it
I've never felt more proud to be INTJ😂. "Your milage may vary"😅
Plus I think I've told them at least 20 times a day since the day they were born that I love them
We didn't have the protein shakes, but we had rules (2 fruit/veg, 1 carb (optional), 1 protein...). ❤️
Except I would never apologize for not making waffles like a normal mom. Lol.
My childhood growing up with an INTJ mom was similar. Although I got a lot of “why are you crying” questions from her. She genuinely never knew why.
INTJ here, my mom is an ENTJ, and the bluntness mixed with radical acceptance sums up our relationship perfectly lol
The ice cream drawer code part had me laughing my ass off!
🧡
My mom is an INTJ (I think) but she's kind of an unhealthy INTJ, she grew up without a mother so I understand, but also, it was quite hard growing up with her because of the lack of emotional support and other physical negligence too, she was never the person who likes to get hugged or says "I love you", but shows it her own way (buying us stuff we need and helping our surroundings be clean and nice)
Even with all the difficulties, now that I grew up, I am more able to see what my mom did for her children, she went out of her way many times even if we didn't notice that earlier, I love her and I will continue to do, as hard as it is. I love my "INTJ" mom❤
Att: her INFP child lolol
I'm so sorry sweetie. You recognize all of this, that is great.
INTJ Mom's face when she is saying: I'm actually in a pretty good mood right now 😂😅🧡🧡🧡
That's actually me at work. Lol.

In boarding school I stumbled into the classroom once without shoes in the morning 😅 (an ENFP story)
Ok..... This explains why my husband says ,"no honey, your a great mom, your just .... Not very nurturing......" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I'm doing my best here.
Okay. So I'm an INTJ (obviously, 'cause who else would click on this video and actually got interested/entertained enough to leave a comment). And I believe that is a VERY accurate way in which I predict myself to behave when I'll become a mom. So props to you 🧡
There should be a sequel with other types 🎉
Yes!
