What INTJ females actually need in a partner:
    - Someone to listen to their great yet complex ideas and theories
    - Someone who respects their boundaries and opinions
    - Someone who hates arguing bc when you argue with an INTJ you're either stupid, wrong or simply both
    - Someone who likes silence and doesn't make situations awkward
    - Someone who's open minded and ready to deal with our "just do what I say" nature
    - Someone who fits with our high standards and expectations. *Basically nobody*
Thank you for your time. Have a nice day .-.

Read some comments about INTJs having trust issues. That's unfair to our Ni factors.
INTJs are the kind of people who trust you after alot of consideration, because whoever enters our life, must be worth the time, effort and space. But if you break our trust once, we will distance ourselves completely. It's like, inputting a linear equation in a calculator, and it gives you the wrong answer. You won't ever trust the calculator again. you will double check all answers yourself, with a separate calculator.
INTJs are loyal, but pragmatic. And therefore find it hard to forgive or forget.
    Sincerely, an INTJ female.

Because we're trying to decide if you are worth our time and energy. Being a highly introverted INTJ it take a lot out of energy be sociable at all. Also we feel so much more deeply than any of the feeling types that it is just easier to not care what other people think or do, which is also why it takes so long. Because we need to trust you. You cannot hurt and INTJ, you insult them, they don't care, you insult your family they give you a verbal beat down about why you're wrong, but if they trust you and care you can do some serious detrimental damage.

As human beings we all have the ability to feel. Being a thinking type just means that you prefer to rationalize things rather than feel them. Feeling types prefer to base their inner world, thoughts and actions on emotions.
Feeling types are more sensitive according to what I’ve read. That doesn’t mean that thinking types cannot feel as deeply, but often aren’t comfortable with doing so.

    For INFJs.
    Pros of INTJs:
    -Independent.
    -Capable.
    -Reasonable.
-Intuitive/don't follow a hive mentality (INFJs share this trait)
    -Confident.
    -Calm even when enraged.
-Will use all their brainpower to make you as successful/happy as possible (optimizing).
-People of actions, not words (this is something an INFJ can appreciate).
-Will be glad to sit around and discuss conspiracy theories with you.
-Relationship get more intimate with age (they will be comfortable with "I love you" and other forms of traditional affection)
-Romance with an INTJ is very deep and cerebral versus vapid/physical.
-Mature INTJs are incredible partners and companions, usually well rounded with a lot of skill and ambition.
    Cons:
    -Pessimistic.
-Do the INFJ "door slam," but in a casual manner, because it's just considered optimizing.
    -Arrogant.
-Need a lot of personal space.
-Critical. If they think you are going to fail at something, they won't sugar coat/lie about it, and that can be difficult for F types that need a lot of reassurance.
    -Often have compulsive tendencies.
-Apathy can be socially taboo. e.g.
ESFP: "I brought home four puppies!! Isn't that amazing??" INTJ: "No. They will drain your resources and trash your house."
ESFP: "Omg. I got engaged" INTJ: "...Do you want to be engaged?"
-Terrible improvisers, unless it's an emergency situation.
-Immature INTJs are really turbulent/unstable and not good in relationships.
    Source: INTJ female

      @ks.v7135 5 лет назад +122

@@EmpressTarotGabbyTurner Yes. I think it's a matter of being overwhelmed, or even "over stimulated" from their emotions.
Especially when it comes to love. INTJs don't fall in love with people easily. But when they do at a young age, they don't know how to come to terms with it and just end up becoming unhinged or even obsessive.
When INTJs mature however, their approach to emotion is like night and day.

      @jamilaperry4205 5 лет назад +58

@@EmpressTarotGabbyTurner for me as an INTJ female I love being in love and I hate being in love. It is true that I ignore a lot of people because they are not interesting. So when I find that person that I love it's also a combination of intrigue and a desire to solve the puzzle of learning who that person is on the deepest level possible. At first I might not acknowledge the emotional component and just the cerebal one, but when I start to get a bit obsessive then I have to acknowledge some level of fondness. That's when things really get frustrating because I don't navigate in Emotion well and logic just doesn't work in the emotional Realm. So whereas I can list the top 10 reasons why a person should be in a relationship with me, that doesn't Translate the warmth that I'm actually feeling. I guess the trick is in getting the other person to realize that if I'm taking the time to think and analyze that is my way of saying I love you because I don't give up that brain space for just anybody. So this is where I think an INFJ would get me because they feel the same way about their time and their brain space.

Unfortunately people think it's cold and arrogant. It's not easy being an INTJ... not because of who we are, but because society wants us to conform to the general opinion and norms of the majority. People just don't get us, especially the way we think or the kind of lifestyle we choose. But the good thing is, we don't care if people like us or not and to those who do, they stick around because we are the most loyal friend and companion (we don't engage in gossip either because we find it too vapid).
Anyway, thanks for this great video. You somehow described my life.

I'm an INTJ female and I started dating my husband because, on paper, we were a perfect match. The emotion came later. Luckily, he's INTP, so this worked well for him. He pursued me. I ran. We got to know each other. I decided to love him. We now have a very passionate relationship and have been together happily for fourteen years. So yeah, we can be cold and calculating and strategic, but we have emotions too. Mine mostly show up while watching movies, reading a book or in intimate, non-public moments. By show up, I mean, get expressed. They're always present. My mom and best friend are INFJs, and sometimes their expression of emotion can be exhausting, but that's okay too. :)

I am an INTJ and a girl. I can mostly relate to those tendencies except for the fact that I'm not a "girlfriend". Never to anyone since birth. It's hard for us to fall in love or date. We get attracted to people with an intellect equal to or more than ours but we'd never make the first move unless we're sure we can actually imagine ourselves spending the rest of our lives with that person. When someone confesses, it takes just a short time for us to deduce if there's a chance to date the guy or if further interaction with him will only be annoying. We're usually correct and it's hard to explain why because before we make decisions, we've thought out most (if not all) of the options and weighed out their pros and cons. We're still open-minded though... only if you make sense. We'll only tolerate your nonsense if you're a cat. Also, we are often capable and independent so we don't feel the "need" for a partner but the idea of romance also fascinates us. Most of us are single because our standards are high and yes, we are intimidating.
Good luck finding an INTJ girlfriend who'd budge. Hahaha.

"falls in love with a fantasy": every INFJ I've ever met. 😄
As an INTJ female, I'd take a hard pass on the intj gf meme personally. I think for those of us who were raised by Fs or just found some level of growth or maturity, we are completely capable of developing a filter to situations like... telling someone their baby looks like a potato. Of course that's stupid. Also we know we're right and we've done the homework to prove it, not whatever that meme said. The interesting thing I've found in my own life is that a lot of men can form very quick attachments to me because I don't have a problem sharing information with them (but the feelers mistake that for an emotional sharing sometimes I think and can feel let down later on). Emotions are harder but they're not completely absent. We just process them internally **unless we're in a stress grip** then we basically function like ESFPs. 😬 An INTJ in a stress grip is one of the most self-destructive things ever.

I have noticed this pattern of my own behavior. I have always thought I was very emotional and had no problem sharing my feelings with others, because I talk non-stop. And that made me think I was an infj for the longest time. But after I went on a self-discovery journey, I realized that I am Te-Fi and not Fe-Ti. And here's a thing I noticed : I have no problem sharing my "feelings" when they have been sorted through. It seems like when I'm experiencing a type of feeling, I shut off, I don't talk, I want to be alone, but when I have delt with it, then I have no problem talking about it. A lot. I mean, I share with people some really intimate details of my life, but I don't care, it's just information. Especially when this information could help someone sort their feelings out or a problem, or avoid my own mistakes.

I am an INTJ female. My INFP husband constantly tells me that he is in love with me and I am an angel. He compares me to Hinata, Naruto’s wife. So I don’t think having a romantic relationship with an INTJ female is necessarily an intimidating factor.
The way I act with my husband, is not the way I act with anyone else in my life. For me, my man and my relationship with him is something I protect. I analyze everything, find out what he loves and how he reacts, then adjust accordingly to make his dreams a reality. It’s a very loving, passionate and peaceful relationship. In my world of work and duty, my husband is my own happiness.

I'm an INTJ female married to my partner of 16 years, who is an ENFP male. We've had our moments, for sure, and he drives me nuts sometimes, but our personalities really complement each other well. He was a full-time single father when we met, and I respected him for that. He told me he was actually quite intimidated by me, at first, but very drawn to me. He thinks I'm the best thing ever. He can understand my emotions when I'm having a hard time expressing them. We talk a lot about the future together. I chose to marry him because he loves me for who I am, he has integrity, and he values commitment. We're an unusual pairing, the two of us, but it works.

I sent my ENTP boyfriend when he tried to first ask me out, a spreadsheet of things I wasn't going to tolerate from previous relationships. INTJ women are the same as men when it comes to being upfront with communication, which because of most social expectations of women in relationships is to be the coy one, doesn't mesh with us. We're blunt, straightforward, and do not tolerate or understand the unnecessary script of romantic banter. It just seems a waste of time to us (it just is, ok).
Boyfriend and I have been together for 7 years, so as blunt and weird as my 'spreadsheet' was, maybe it worked. He still often says I'm eccentric, can be cold in my approach, but appreciates it when it comes to hard truths since I don't mince words. Another factor might be because he's the type that will spend hours mentally sparring or shooting ideas back and forth with me, we both have a drive and appreciation for accomplishment in some manner and that is what helps.

INTJ's benefit from INFJ's slightly better social acumen. INFJ's benefit from INTJ's intelligence and organization skills. I had a best friend at work who was an INTJ (gay man). He rubbed some people the wrong way because INTJ's can come across as arrogant (and they don't understand why others don't do every stupid thing the exact same way they do) and I think it held him back a little bit in that context. When he was looking for a job he didn't want to put a summary at the top because he felt like it was the interviewer's job to read his resume and figure it out. I explained to him that most people only scan a resume initially, so a strong summary statement was a concession he needed to make to human nature if he wanted anyone to actually not throw his resume in the trash. He did ultimately take my advice. He has a really good job now. So, INFJ-INTJ is very symbiotic, and if you can find an INTJ whose T is not quite so high as my friend's you'll probably get along really well.

[INTJ] I'm glad you were intimidated to do this, that's what we're going for lol (jk, but not really)
In my experience, INFJ guys are the ones I've gotten along with the best tbh. 3 of my co-workers are INFJs and they're probably the only ones whose company I enjoy. Admittedly I've never been romantically involved with an INFJ before, so I suppose your opinion is universal xD
Also just thought I'd give my two cents here:
    1. Optimizing the relationship is definitely a biggie. If there are inefficiencies in the relationship, they need to be dealt with. I don't have time in my busy schedule of reading, gaming and planning every day of my life indefinitely to be worrying about all the ways the relationship is lacking
    2. I don't think I'm intimidating ngl, but perhaps the RBF makes it seem that way? Why exactly do people find us intimidating lol
    3. Sorry that we ignore people for 9 days. We're busy planning what we're gonna have for dinner in 3 years gosh
    4. For the most part these were pretty accurate, but my mom is an INFJ and she was pretty adamant about teaching me to filter comments like 'your baby is ugly' lol. I don't share my emotions publicly but I do deal with them in my own, comfortable space. Complete lack of emotional release is an immature way of dealing with problems, and INTJs who blatantly refuse to do anything but internalise those emotions are sure to hit a pitfall.

I have a good friend who’s an INTJ that mistyped as an INFJ for a long time. She’s awesome. If she’s any indication of what the average INTJ is like, they’re good people to know, and actually more caring than I think people typically give them credit for.

They are an interesting type. I find they have a deep well of emotions, but are generally uncomfortable showing them much. They don't think its logical to do so much of the time. I also find istjs like this too. My dad feels quite deeply but seldom shows it. Unless he let's it really build up. I sent him something yesterday and was shocked when he told me it made him cry. I think a lot of times both intjs and istjs have a lot of emotions but are not really sure what to do with them because they are so results driven and they feel emotion gets in the way of that. But I could listen to an intj go on for hours and I tend to be totally fascinated with their mind.

@@melbeth79 I'm an intj (male), I think the thing about our emotions is that they're often taxing on our energy to sort through and also it's honestly scary to let others know how you feel lol. If you know the intj well they can open up and be honest but most of the time it's just uncomfortable no matter how well you know the person to open up. Mostly fear of getting hurt since we tend to ignore our emotions, it ends up in a room like a hoarders house just all crammed in there right to the ceiling. I've known this for a long time and we love self improvement, but it would seem there are just some feelings too big and difficult to really share in a satisfying way with others.

I am an INTJ and quite old but I have yet to make a blueprint of the trajectory of my life. However, from the time that I was very young I knew very well the things or events that I did not want to occur in my life such as marriage and children and that I did want a professional career. I also went through a number of possible careers before I became an igneous petrologist, although I ultimately had to retrain in remote sensing and coastal oceanography once I realized that the chances of ever getting an academic job as an igneous petrologist were vanishingly small in the US.

And don't even get me started on people asking questions and not wanting an honest answer. Why would you ask me if I think your outfit is cute and you don't want to hear what I actually think? I thought you wanted my true opinion, maybe even some advice if you were concerned about how it looked and how to make it better.
