I've been a fan of Gardens by the Bay since it opened in Jun 2012. It holds a special place in my heart for being the cradle in my flower and plant photography, hence, more appreciation for nature. The pop-up flower displays in the Flower Dome change monthly, and the key themes for me would be the tulip and pink blossom pop-ups. That feeling of watching the nighttime Garden Rhapsody in person for the first time just blows you away, it did for me back in 2012 - simply WHOA! Though the soundtrack changes monthly, it's still a place to be to unwind from the busyness of the corporate jungle and enjoy a nice, cool evening under the lights, surrounded by the Singaporean pride in marrying technology and artsy creativity with nature conservation and horticulture.
When it’s just open , i used to bring my kid to the garden by the bay with a picnic mat and we just laid down and look up at the lights show , its still the same light show but the feeling is just different from tilting your head. they were playing classical symphony back that period.
hey just wondering instead of walking you can take the public transport such as the MRT and buses which are super affordable and you can use your debit/credit card or Apple pay when travelling to save those poor feet😄
Unfortunately, when you post videos shot outside of mainland China, even if the scenery is beautiful, the views drop significantly... Even when you shoot in Macau, Taiwan, or even Hong Kong, the traffic is still very low. It turns out that mainland Chinese audiences like to watch places they have been to... I'm a Singaporean. It's NOT a struggle. I live a simple life. We can still live a cheap and simple life here. I don't chase for a high and expensive lifestyle. Please don't always listen to what people say about Singapore and Singaporeans. There are a lot of people who live a good and simple life here.
@@bookaholichan1357 Many young U graduate are very stressed with their jobs, because they are highly paid. And there will be no life time employment for some. They will be retrenched and life will be a struggle especially if they are older
@@steventay5834 alright….. I can’t deny what you said is happening. However you can’t generalise everything in Singapore and all Singaporeans are struggling and miserable. You seem to be focusing on the negative side which correlates with having a lot of money and lack of it. You think that life in Singapore can only be worth it when you are successful and have a lot of money. Some people I know are not rich but they are still content with their life here. FYI, my wife was retrenched during COVID and I have become the sole breadwinner. So we now focused on things that are important to us and live as cheaply and simple as possible. We focus on putting food on the table, having a comfortable home and a good social life. We do away with spending unnecessarily and if we do have more we treat ourselves with a holiday. Just be grateful everyday for all the blessings that we have and focus on the positive. Life is hard, we don’t have to make it harder by focusing on the negative.
