  • Learn how to accept a job offer and use it as leverage to persuade another company to offer you a job. Once you have a job offer in your hands, you can use it to convince another employer to offer you a job, if they have been dragging their feet during the interview stage. This a great way to nudge them into offering you the job.
    Sometimes an employer will offer you a job, but it's not the one you want, and you are waiting for the other employer to make you an offer. but once you have one offer, you can use it to convince the other employer to offer you the job, which is the place you want to be.
    If you have been interviewing for jobs, you might get an offer from the company you don't want and would rather have a different offer.

    Two questions...
    How did you actually go about resigning from the job you had to take the one you wanted? What's a good process to do that?
    Currently I have a job. in hand, signed the offer. I have time before my start date and am still interviewing with a few other companies. If I get something better, how can I manage that?

  • @graceamante-muniz3594
    @graceamante-muniz3594 Год назад

    Sometimes if the start date with the new company doesn't start for another two or three weeks, in the meantime the other/preferred company may call you before your start date and then you can call the first company...

    I interviewed for the company I really wanted at around the same time as the offer I got. I’ve been there for almost 2 weeks and the company I want just gave me an offer. Should I give them my 2 weeks notice on Monday or wait until the many background checks the new company is doing clears first ?!

  • @billgarcia471

    I will be starting at a new company this September 1st,since I already accepted their offer, but I got a call from the company I really wanted a week after my last interview from them asking if I will be available for the final interview, I thought they will not call me anymore since it has been a week, if that company hires me should I let go of the the first company? and if I do, I really don't know what to say.

    Hi Don! I need ur help!
    Im in the exact same boat!
    But i already called Company A (the one i want) and told them i have a offer pending... And they told me i did very well in the interview though they need to interview 3 more people this week b4 any decision is made.
    I said ok i understand
    Now... Company B (plan B company) i dont really want to work there...
    Should i call Company A and say Hey i didnt take the offer so let me know if your still interested in me
    Or
    Just let it be?

    • @itsmickfressly8874
      @itsmickfressly8874 2 года назад

      how your decision then sir ? im in similar situation as you are . I need some experience advise for this

    • @sodeadlike
      @sodeadlike 2 года назад

      @@itsmickfressly8874 in my personal experience with this case. I politely declined Company B and then Company A called me the week after stated I was unsuccessful... so i was left with no job.. but I kept on searching and now got a job which is better than both Company A and B. So worked at for me at the end but that 1 extra month of searching I couldn't stop regretting not taking offer from Company B
      So the decided is yours. Or u can do as Don said take the job then quit I didn't have the guts to do so.
