Let's remake the medieval Kingdom of Hungary in Hearts of Iron 4!
Rules:
- NO HABSBURGS - Hungary, NOT Austro-Hungary
- retake medieval Hungarian lands
- fight Austria
- be friends with Poland

Imperial Japanese Pepe you might wanna comment on his newer vids. Also , I tried Great War stuff and I think it deoeserateky needs a revamp. So if you see this Taureour, I suggest (if you do it) doing it with the Ultimate Great War because it has addons that makes the game ok.

Challenge: Play as Germany (Or the Soviet Union if you want to) and conquer all of the allies and the Comintern/Axis *BUT* you can only use Tanks. No Infantry, no Cavalry but Motorized and Mechanized is allowed.
That's super easy :) I would just replace all my infantry with motorized and then it's business as usual

Couldn’t you have just annexed Austria and refuse Anschluss, then release them and get them to hate you?
You dont actually need to refuse anschluss because it skips the event for germany if austria doesnt exist and it will not give you the choice to refuse of submit if austria is a puppet so if you annex austria you make germanies life easier because of the skipped 70 days but if austria is a puppet they will go through the 70 days and nothing will happen

That's pretty big, would take a long time. Spain had colonies pretty much everywhere so this is basically world conquest.

the countries you will have to dominate as spain:
colombia, peru, ecuador, uruguay, argentina, venezuela, bolivia, all of central america, and you'd have to deal with the USA.

I saw a lot of comments about how much of these lands do not rightfully belong to Hungary as for they are only an ethnic minority. This is right today, although we must consider that in fact it was migration from all of these other nations that allowed this to happen. All of the lands were inhabited by only Hungarians until the 15th century. It was then when Germans flooded the country. The migration from Romania, Russia and Yugoslavian territory began only in the 16th century. Take for example "Timisoara" was called "Temesvár" in Hungarian for a reason. The city was founded and built up by Hungarians but then was flooded by Romanians before seized by it after World War I. Even though migration already started in the 16th century, after WW1, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and Romania built up the small Entente, which was aimed to force back Hungarians from taking back their former lands and also included plans of deportations of Hungarians back into Hungary. The treaty of Trianon (the Hungarian Versailles treaty) was made in a very short period of time, and the minorities brought maps which filled in all of the uninhabited zones with the mark of their own, making the Hungarians look smaller so the powers accepted taking this much land from Hungary. On the date of signing the subject's representatives brought in an accurate map, which also marked the uninhabited zones. The Entente clearly saw that there was a huge difference in the maps so Britain even asked the Romanians, Czechs, etc., that it would be more human to make changes to the treaty. But since the borders were drawn so long ago, that the participants "grew to it", all of them rejected (if you don't believe me search up "The red map of trianon"). Also, in the year of 1988 the Romanian government still could not put down with the Hungarian majority in Mid-Transylvania so they planned destroying over 80 Hungarian ethnic villages with a full Hungarian majority. Luckily the plan never happened as the Soviets denied it. And even after so many year, there is still Hungarian majority in even some of the major cities like Subotica (Szabadka) or in some regions in Mid-Transylvania, Southern Slovakia. There were bad times in Medieval Hungary as well. In the 18th century Hungary lost control of Transylania and was given to the Habsburg Empire. The minorities were also considered as in 1849, Croatia was even given half independence. Again this is all just pure facts, I hope no one misunderstood this. I am Slovak by the way, not being selfish here! Let's all take a moment and imagine one third of your country's territory and ethnic population being given to your enemies. Imagine your home town being renamed from a language you love to one which you do not even understand. Imagine your relatives being cut away from you! Greetings to Hungary!

Great as always. My suggestion for a challenge would be to create the kingdom of the Franks/Francia, starting as France (or Belgium if it's possible).

Could u please only take historical land. So the challenge would be take all of the first bulgarian empire land as Bulgaria, only thr historical lands, with the rest of the land you can make puppet satellites etc

Play as Norway or Finland and get the “northern lights“ achievement, no mods, Ironman and historical AI on. I mostly want you to do this so that I can figure out a way to get the achievement
The easiest way would probably be to just invade the other countries, leave them as a puppet (though probably without all their land) and make a faction with your puppets. you can make factions as any country with the focus ideological fanaticism.

Challenge: take medieval Austria (not transylvania, Hungary, vojovodinia, or slovakia). You need Austria, Istria, Lombardy, South Tyrol, the thing next to Lombardy, Czech, Zaolzie, and Krakow (and Krakow's 2 surrounding provinces). Also Bosnia as a puppet
Help Hungary reform midevial Hungary (include Croatia this time!), then declare war and annex them. I think there's a decision that let's you make Auatria Hungary. Take it and win the challenge! If you took Asia as Bhutan, this will be child's play!
How'd you get so much manpower when you reannounced the treaty of trianon? It stays on 0 for me, and I even changed to extensive conscriptions. I checked and it said: "only 0,009% is applying daily", but I don't know why. Any help? How do I make them want to conscript more.
Anyone else have a preference for countries that are thicc but not *too* thicc. Medieval Hungary is one such country.
