I'm praying for you sweetheart. I'm also fighting cancer. Have you heard of graviola soursop? You can order it online. Unfortunately, I don't hear it very often these days. A shame because it's a great song, but you have to seek it out yourself to hear it.

This song brings back good memories. I was 13, all my loved ones were alive and lived just down the road, I had alot of friends and I was healthy. I didn't realize how good I had it.

I'm 47 years old, and heard this song for the first time today while driving to work. For those few moments, I was transported - not to an easier, simpler time per se, but certainly a different time. I alternated between imagining myself as an 8 year old boy again, riding in my dad's car or what if I was still 47, but in 1981 instead of 2020? In any set of circumstances, I understood that I would pay attention to the lyrics - something which is a rarity for modern music. Singers back then allowed themselves a certain degree of vulnerability to show. Not anymore, now it is all about showing how hard you all the time.

I have always loved this song going back in time. Here I am at the front door of 60 and it has been in my mind over a week! I couldnt figure out the band/ group who did it. It always sounded a little like Toto but I knew it wasnt Toto ( which I love also) So, now I have found it and that's wonderful 😊 I'll stay alert in the album collections with dealers to find their music and hear more💗

I was 17 and dj'ing on a local radio station in northern Michigan when this song came out. The bass line hooked me and the vocals just seemed to tie everything together. For whatever reason this song popped into my head in the middle of the night when I was trying to get back to sleep.

As I look back, I heard this song for the first time a year after my fiance and I broke it off. When I heard it, it reminded me of my Sandy girl and tears would well up in my eyes. Well, 38 years later, I'm happily married but I still choke up when I hear this song played and remember my first true love. They say there is only one in your life - she will always be.

They had another good hit called Without You. Equally as good as this one I think.
This song takes me back to a day when life was great and everything was wonderful. I miss those days. I need them back now more than ever. Just laid my mom to rest last week and songs from the 80's keep me going. I miss those good days.

Junior in High School when this came out. Loved it. Still have the 45, have all my albums. Youngest of 7 kids, much appreciation for music, all kinds. Nothing still beats the 70's and 80's music though.

First heard this classic song on an American chart show in the UK in 1981 and loved it ever since
I remember this song from my first day of high school in 81...I was 13 years old and my dad dropped me off - this song was playing in the car - followed by Rick Springfield's Jessie's Girl- I remember getting out of the car with my trapper keeper and backpack in hand. I walked past this older guy and girl behind the school, that were alternating between smoking, making out and chugging a jug of wine- all the evils my mom warned me about. I realized I had a lot of growing up to do.

I graduated in 86, I remember Trapper Keepers throughout junior and senior high school.
And yes, we had backpacks back then too.

How good is the song? How underrated is it? I played it one night while making an Uber pickup at SMU in Dallas and the young man asked "who is that?" I told him, but had to let him know the song was over 30 years old. He loved the sound.

The group formed at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. I remember the spring of 1981 when this was a top ten hit for Frank Prevete and his group. Six years later Frank would write the song “(I’ve) Had the Time of my Life” for Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes for the movie “Dirty Dancing”.
