- My how to video on removing the package tray , deck lid or package Shelf from the back of a 2009 Hyundai Sonata. You may or may not have to remove the bottom portion of the seat it was just easier for me to get to the bolts under the side bolsters which were probably the hardest to take out and put back in. Not much to it. A handful bolts and screws and some wrestling. Also the best time to clean the back window once the Shelf trays out.
I loved this. I’m thinking of doing an aftermarket subwoofer install. For sure, that will come with it’s own set of headaches. One less thanks to your vid. Rock on.
looks like I'll be continuing on with no subwoofer lmao - not worth all this trouble to replace it when I'll easily just crack a side panel in the process. This video probably just saved me hours of pain so thank you
This helped me out so much today!
I will be referring to this video later. When I do my subwoofer install I'm just going to disconnect my factory one for time being.
thank you sir
Can I just put a subwoofer with a box enclosure in the trunk? How would I wire it up? My deck sub is blown.
How do you undo the panel clips? This video doesn't give a good look at those. Do you just pull them off with force?
Which clips are you referring to?
In the video you said you started to remove the side panels with the srs logo. How do you pop that out? I don't want to pull off the panels and brake anything. I saw your srs logo was literally popped out. How did you do that?
Small screwdriver
are you able to take the deck lid out without taking the rear pillar airbags out?
rainbowt3xas yes, the c- pillar covers can come off without messing with the airbags. I wouldn't stick a screwdriver or anything sharp back there to pop the clips out. I just used my hand and pulled
I was so pissed I have no back speakers. No wonder why my stereo sound sucks. No bass, just highs
Do u have a video on how to remove the front seat
Sorry, I don't have one . It should be pretty easy though just 4 bolts and the clip for the side impact airbag.
what size sub can fit there
The hole cut out is for an 8" sub.
Is the wire that sticks out underneath in the trunk for the sub or is it for something else it's not hooked up to anything and has a black pig tail on it
@@dakotaknight3244 did you figure out where subwoofer wire is?
Why are you taking it off
