- The random messages you get on your Xbox One/360 or PS5/4 are most definitely from bots. But it seems like those bots have moved to Instagram AS WELL AS scammers! Be careful out there on the interwebs. In this video I show you guys a conversation I had between a mix of a online bot and a scammer. Enjoy!

Basically, these accounts pose as a hot girl, because what gets young kids to talk back more than a hot girl right? And then when having the convo they have it with a bot unknowingly. And then advertise their website, whether its a cam girl site or otherwise, nonetheless Colby is right, most of the time its just a plot to steal your information or hack into your device. Holy fuck… these scammers are getting smart fr. I had a close encounter with one of these and they made a fake account of me and wanted to sextort me. They faked a conversation and staged photos. It’s actually scary.

I was lucky enough to get back at the blackmailer, I found a small helper I liked talking about this man and my feeling of confusion being put into words helped me become confident, of course they have skills to solve but this is truly validating. If you keep talking to them they will eventually ask you for money that’s when I mess with them. This one scammer tried to tell me she lives in the same town as me but when I asked her what part she changed the subject
I can't imagine how hard it would be to decide to take a re-coveryagent role of an scammed persons. The history needs to be remembered though and the help that was born through such pain and suffering. Very informative. Sadly I was scammed by a random account who I accepted on Instagram. I reported it to the FBI but never heard back from them which I probably won't. I now ignore every request on every social media

They send mass messages as bots and the people can actually check when they have replies back so they choose when to substitute the bot if it gets near a probability to scam

They ask for money or gift cards and they pretend that their parents or family members are killed

I got like 3 of these, I knew that that acc was a bot so I firmly stated "you are a bot" BUT THEN THE BOT STRAIGHT UP CALLS ME ON INSTA, its mega messed up. Reported the acc and deleted instagram. Im just a paranoid person in general when it comes to shit like this and insta is mega addicting with Reels now, was gnna delete it anyway to focus on work.

There’s this 22 year old woman texting me now on Instagram and I’ve thought she is a bot for 2 days but she is really talking like a real person. She has no pictures except a profile picture and she keeps saying my phone doesn’t work properly so she can’t send pictures or videos. And she keeps asking to have sex with me. I can’t tell if she’s real or not.

It was so tricky to understand, he was a scam.. because he was supportive, answered on the questions and never spoke with no sense. So! When he asked to buy a gift card for him.. this moment I understood he was a scammer, two weeks later.. and analyzed all we spoke, I guess I lost many things when we were taking.. for example photos from different season in summer clothes, when now it’s November.. he is from Scotland, and sometimes he made grammar mistakes.. was strange too. So his “story” , engineer, widowed, daughter lives in the USA Orlando, mother died, so he have only few friends and co workers and a dog.. Nick is Morris Roland, I hope women and girls never believe anyone to these things! By the way he wrote me first , just - hello? How are you!

Could be someone using a backup account to get information for an ex, a friend or enemy etc.. or simply the girl was shooting her shot and doesn't speak polished English, or just a scammer

There was a “instagrammer” who had over 70k followers and follows 600+ people. She followed me and dropped into my DMs or should I say “they”. Didn’t send me a link or anything. It felt like a normal convo without any dirty talk or anything like that. The profile just seemed weird though. Of course, I never gave any personal information. What was weird was, she had posts with just over 100 likes while having 70k+ followers. Then what was even more weirder were the posts she was tagged in. There were many posts with images of different women and her user is always tagged in it by the same insta page which has over 450k followers. It was weird yet creepy asf. Anyway because she apparently lives in “Dubai”, she wanted me to download an app called “Botim” so we could communicate better. I obviously refused because that’s what they want so they can get your information and sell it. I confronted her or them saying, nobody follows another person for them to download an app so they can communicate better when there’s a video call on insta. Very strangely they said, “the presence of communication on Instagram and many applications in the UAE.” God knows what that means and then soon after, blocked me. I tried to report the account but it was insta being insta as always. My advice is, no matter how many followers they’ve got and how many they follow in a big ratio, don’t be fooled. Keep an eye on their posts, their likes, see if they got any friends, what random posts they are tagged in etc. BE CAREFUL!

VOIP apps are blocked in UAE and only specific apps are allowed yo be used, one of which is BOTIM. WhatsApp, FB, Insta, snap, Telegram everything is blocked in UAE coz the telcos need to have a monopoly it seems
