I bought a bundle of this set cause I heard there were list cards in every pack. I did get more list cards than usual but i think it was a 50/50 split token and list.
The one RUclipsr (BadBoyGaming) got lucky with an error bundle. It's not guaranteed and actually quite unlikely that you'd see the same result.
@@MTGBoxAnalysis I love how you knew my source too, you're on another level man lol.
@@jtcheezus thanks. I watch a few other RUclipsrs to stay in the know and to be entertained just like you all.
again another great analysis.
Thanks, I appreciate you saying that
For future videos, can you make the graph in the end smaller, and those number tables bigger?
I sure can Jay. I recently adjusted my template and yeah, I think the table font is a little small. Thanks for confirming my suspicion.
Awesome video and great job on the analysis. I am curious when you said the set isn't doing well in terms of cards over $1. How many $1+ cards is good vs bad?
In comparing MOM to ONE and BRO here's how many cards > $1.00 you can pull from a draft pack:
MOM & MUL: 60 cards
ONE: 71 cards
BRO & BRR: 85 cards
I am hoping that we see a few more C/U from MOM take off to bring some more consistent value to the set.
@@MTGBoxAnalysis Thanks for the response.
@@GrimmGeist sure thing. I was actually a little surprised that BRO had more eligible cards valued over $1 in Draft boxes than ONE. So thank you for asking the question. It allowed me to go back and pull the data
i know its a YT bias seeing ragavans getting pulled but my first CB i pulled one. The monkey seems so common in the MUL mythic slot. I have my set, draft, and bundle to open so it will be interesting to see. will you plan on doing this with aftermath? ngl set looks like mad doo doo
This was my first Ragavan in 3.5 boxes (1 Col, 1 Set, 1 Draft, 2 Prerelease kits). It's a good cad, but this set is going to water down the supply and hurt the long term value. And yes, I'll be opening at least one of each Aftermath product on the channel. I'll likely do two, but I'll wait to see how the 50 card set does value wise before I commit to an additional $300.
Great videos as always mate! I think it is a pretty good idea to make a monthly recap for the best pools! Maybe you could upload them on other media like tik tok or instagram?
I wanted to know which one of the showcase arts is your favorite!!!
Thanks. Great, I'll be sure to do that at the end of May and I have been thinking about posting to more than just YT. With regard to the showcase frames...you're gonna get me into trouble here :) I am partial to the Kaldheim frame and artistic style.
@MTG Box Analysis Yeah, they are REALLY cool looking, and have that nordic feeling to them!
I love Ikoria's style and how cool and cartoony the art looks!
That was my number 2. The others are fine and nice enough but several of them just don't stand out to me.
i see so many ragavan pulls on youtube but the price is still that high ^^
I think you'll see it fall in a few weeks. Maybe not a ton but a few dollars. The set was officially released on Friday (although with pre-release you could have gotten it a week earlier). When the population goes from 5000 cards to 50,000 cards is when you'll see a price drop of some level.
Collector packs have ruined draft boosters. Gone are the days when you could get the most expensive cards in a set in a draft pack.
Yeah, there's a real separation between the collector and the player in the two products. But there are definitely instances where a draft box could actually contain more value than a set or collector. Today's draft box was better than last week's set box of the same set. And I recently opened Neon Dynasty Dropbox (for a channel member) that had five of the six top cards.
@@MTGBoxAnalysis I opened one neo draft box I have to say it was pretty good paid 98 got around 200 worth of cards really surprised me. I stopped playing/buy back in 2nd kamigawa set had to come back for this one. Now I just crack them for fun and resell the valuable
Nice
