Seems they have a least bought the time frame forward, so that's a big plus for me. Thanks for the info. I'm confused about The Master - surely if you kill your regeneration (Missy) then you can't come back?
Given we already know the Sontarans are going to be in it I think they could have included one shot of one to end the trailer. But other than that this was probably the most we’ve got from a comic con panel in the whole of the Chibnall era. I don’t think it was too bad.
That's the thing, we know about the Sontarans and the Weeping Angels and I think just one shot would have made all the difference but even still I don't think people would have been as disappointed if they hadn't went so hard on hyping it up. Obviously I get promoting the thing but I swear they put more into this than than they did for the majority of Series 12 so when it's just fine I can't help but feel a little let down
This video was a mess but it was indeed content and I can confirm I watched it and occasionally thought things . The panel was a nice bit of fluff content that doesn't do a lot other than signify that promo is now be ramping up a bit for the next series. I'm excited to see how the story arc plays out as I was kind of expecting that was what Chibnall would do with Doctor Who when he was first announced as showrunner. Special guest announcement, the actor is fine and all but like you say not a returning character or a big name actor so definitely overhyped, might as well not have mentioned there would be a special guest or just come out and say he was going to be in it ahead of time. Trailer was more like a teaser, like previous years some nice shots and quips but nothing revealing, it's mad they didn't just show off the Weeping Angels and Sontarans and some other stuff. I'm kind of not too let down, I wasn't expecting a ton to be revealed, it was pleasant enough, they could have revealed more, but I'll happily wait until the show airs.
