Garden looks good, and as you say, a learning curve is involved. My grandparents always had their own tomato patches and raced each other for the first tomato of the season. Pappaw had his in the ground by Valentine's Day. Our weather has changed so much in the last 20 years, he'd be surprised to know our winter is now the month of February. I'm just getting stuff planted but my herbs are gorgeous!
Ambrose, Angie,
Praying ya'all have been safe from the horrible storms that recently rampaged their way through TX. 🙏🙏🙏
Kitchen garden is looking really good. Enjoy the long growing season in Texas.
Everything is looking good, so many good varieties and options. You should do a video of how you make salsa with the tomatoes and peppers you are growing!
wow, y'all have come a long way! Yes, it's gonna be a learning curve for you being used to a milder climate but appears you're doing great. Hey, I'm a native and long time gardener yet I'm still learning. Will be interested in watching your progress.
It looks great! Thanks for sharing with us!
I enjoyed this video, I don't grow vegetables but you have inspired me to go and get some tomato plants and put them in pots on my patio. It's a start right? Great to see another video. Always look forward to your updates.
Hi 🌻. Well done your vegetables are amazing and grow well and you can plant watermelon and melon and more vegetables . Have awonderful day . 🌺🌻🌺
I love seeing a fellow San Antonian! I just discovered you and your wife. I have been binge-watching your videos. I love chile piquin but have not used them for salsas. I usually use serrano peppers. New fan here!
It looks great 🪴
Your tomatoes are healthy ! And you're looking well too, regards to the family x
Angie, We make a lovely tomato soup from a Gordon Ramsay video @ Roasted Tomato Soup. Don't swap anything out, or skip any steps. It's so lovely and uses heaps of very ripe tomatoes.
Your garden looks amazing!
Looking good. 😊

Since we're going to go in the triple digits this weekend, do you think tomatoes will burn in full sun? How can I avoid this?
Shade cloth or a patio umbrella help at the hottest part of the day. Make sure your plants are well watered before the heat.
