Well im 43 and when i was 15 i got right into cars i had a vh commy . Nice worked 308 ,straight in silver! Spent 16k on it in 93 so it was a sweet beast BUT my dream car was a 1 tunna! I got a little lost at that time of my life so it never eventuated ! Can i say this car is the PERFECT representation of that dream car i had and makes me a little teary eyed to be honest! So clean! Not over done just straight as !!! This is how it should have come from the factory!! What a fantastic oportunity for the inmates as well very well thought out! Its so important that we help educate people that have gotten lost early in life it easily happens ! One day you wake up and you have lost your way without that intention! Believe me it happed to me!! Majority of people locked up are good people that have made a few wrong decisions it can easily happen! It could of easily happened to anybody! How many people reading this have drunk driven and luckily got away with it? You could have accidentally killed somebody! These guys need support and a second chance!!!! But what a beautiful 1 tunna! One of the nicest ive ever seen! To the guys that decided to go this way with the build what a design!!! PERFECT!!! Thanks for great video to!!! 😉👌👏💪! I hope all involved are on their way to a better life once out!!!💙 love to you all!!!! Thankyou!
So true mate. I’ve driven pissed more times than I care to admit also been busted twice but the last time I drove I almost didn’t get home and I’ve never driven pissed since sometimes in life you teach yourself the lesson. Hope your all good man.
Great video! Looking at these Australian muscle cars is like stepping into a parallel universe for someone in the U.S. Y'all make amazing street machines over there, just different from what we're used to seeing over here. I have no chance of ever owning one, so it looks like I will just have to settle for watching them on RUclips and old Mad Max movies.
Thats one good looking truck!, the lads who built it should be proud, hope it changed some of their paths in life, it proves to them that they can do good things. Well done lads.
Good stuff - these programs work for those who really want to change their lives. Enjoyable work goes a long way to help change the minds stuck behind bars.
What a fantastic project project for the inmates. I hope it raised as much as was hoped for. I remember when the WB first hit the roads, and they did not look anywhere as good as that example. Well done guys!
Blokes should be proud of it, it's a bloody nice ute the colour combo, wheels are spot on all it needs is a big block and blower, I guess the new lucky owner can put there touch on/in it. Well done
That's good stuff. If they are going to do it again, and don't already have a new vehicle, I have a rusty ole tonner I would gladly donate. Sydney location. cheers.
Obviously everyone else wants a car built as well. ...but I stand by this idea for inmates to complete projects of any type for that matter, car's, trailers, bike's, really anything else. . . Lol I have a car they can fix for me,
I think this is a nice idea. I might actually get a ticket, you get a weapon of a uterus AND you help the community. Maybe they should do this more often. #handbuiltbarrafromalifer 😂
LDN Wholesale yeah in WA i got a yellow sticker in pure daylight for my high beams not working , i was 2 mins away from servo to get new globes and the scum wouldn't let me , from there i had to go the pits and just one emissions test for my extractors was to cost me 2800 for one test so i had to sell the car unregistered , it was a Nissan Silvia and i was on my P's , my friend got a yellow sticker on his Silvia 2 weeks later he put everything stock back on his car passed the pits after the pits he was driving home a cop pulled him over trying to sticker him for black dust on the bumper from the turbo smoke it leaves , he couldn't believe it he showed the cop the receipt and paper work that he just left the pits and passed meaning the car is good for Australian standards , they still wanted to sticker him he just just got away , absolute criminals those fuckers , remember a police man is someone who looks after the citizens a police officer is someone who is just a pawn issuing tickets to civilians to make money for the gay mafia governments .
Hmm, 6 years ago, I guess it's too late to buy a ticket.....I was 21 when Street Machine magazine first came out. I bought it religiously for years but I never seemed to have the time, money or place to build a show car. Not that I would ever own a "show" car, but a weekend driver with a ridiculously thirsty big block that has the neighbors complain about the loud exhaust would be nice.
Nice, but wheres the licence number for selling the item via a raffle as per government law ? Or is most of the profits going to go to the owners of street machine ?
Austen Conway censorship, likely at his or his family’s request. Some don’t like the wider community knowing that a family member or a loved one is in prison.
They should be proud of what they have accomplished. That is a beautiful car, and the tray is truly a piece if art!
awesome ute, and a great cause ! Well done to the builders of this car, and cheers to SM for showing this story ! :)
Stunning machine, Long live the old classics, Cheers

Great to see,a great outcome for everybody.
Great podcast. Inspiring helping inmates and the community. God Bless 🙏.
this seems like an awesome correctional system, fixing people instead of worsening their condition.
Beautiful mate and to all the inmates credit to you all
That tray man is gorgeous
wish they were doing those courses when i was there
Raven Thylacine fuck id go to jail if i can be doing shit like this 😂😂 rather do that for free than work at this fucking gas station another day
the place is full of pedophiles now days, being a private owned gaol, they get paid more for keeping them than main prisoners.
Nestea Iced tea mate. You do NOT want to go to prison.
Top job boys! It looks a million bucks! 👍🍻
What an awesome idea. Positive vibes all around

Beautiful car and a fantastic idea
Excellent story guys & well presented.

Well done boys that looks awesome
That's good stuff. If they are going to do it again, and don't already have a new vehicle, I have a rusty ole tonner I would gladly donate. Sydney location. cheers.
Appreciate the offer Victor, we just started another tonner for a young fella who were working with the Make a wish foundation.
I’ll take it lol
If they don't want it, it's all yours for $500.
That's awesome, such a neat little ute, Pity this isn't open to Queensland residents!
Should be more of this great idea
Well done boys a real Aussie iconic ute.
Mainstream news needs to pick up this story. Editing and score was on point too.
was on our local news
Full credit to the Junee boys.. ✌️
Hands up if you bought tickets love this more than ever 🙋 #helpingthelittleguys
Inmates should always be working in programs to benefit the community considering the community pays for them to be there.
Just one word! "GROUSE"
Professional finish
nice job lets see more
Excellent good job
I liked and faved before I even started the video
Obviously everyone else wants a car built as well. ...but I stand by this idea for inmates to complete projects of any type for that matter, car's, trailers, bike's, really anything else. . . Lol I have a car they can fix for me,
Nice
My older brother is in there atm wonder what he helped out with
What's the go with the tear jerk music?
I think this is a nice idea. I might actually get a ticket, you get a weapon of a uterus AND you help the community. Maybe they should do this more often.

Very nice car.
Might want to put in front of the raffle url so it hyperlinks properly for mobile users.
raffle's closed already. Bollocks. Build another car!!
I brought a heap of tickets at auto barn wagga! I didn't win 😭
Nice, but wheres the licence number for selling the item via a raffle as per government law ? Or is most of the profits going to go to the owners of street machine ?
100% of ticket sales goes to Junee CanAssist. Street Machine have been fantastic to deal with and haven’t asked for anything.
why didnt i have this when i was there
For those interested in the raffle.
www.rafflelink.com.au/junee2663
Link should work perfect.
Why was the inmate censored
Austen Conway censorship, likely at his or his family’s request. Some don’t like the wider community knowing that a family member or a loved one is in prison.
that's fucken sick good on e'm
Could make some awesome weapons in that workshop
Cant buy tickets in West Oz? Thats bull mate.
Unbelievable
If I give them a car, can they build it for me free too??
