- We turned a Barn find HQ holden into a fully engineered LS1 powered crusier in our backyard shed and here is what it looked like from start to finish.

I love this build boys…the montage is a fantastic way of giving you all the juicy bits in 10 minutes.
It’s a real credit to you both…so much so..that you’ve inspired me at 45 to get my first car, a 72 Q Prem a facelift with a mix of the LSQ & Michael’s 253 HQ, and do a build keeping my 253 but EFI & rod shop front & rear goodies for the combo of stock skin & modern skeleton

Only thing I would have changed would be to make the LS look like a ol' 283 sbc like the skid factory did with a chevy nova

Did you guys have to do any tunnel modification when you put the motor in? I brought the same kit and can't seem to get the box high enough to get the crossmember mount in.

I had the same HQ when I was 20 but mine was yellow with the white top in imaculate condition
Would love to do this on my HR, but it’s a much smaller bay and, by the looks, requires cutting into the firewall 😢
