Is it safe to say that Reiji's deck is the only main character in the main franchise without a summon animation? Heck, there are minor characeters whose deck got a summon animation.
The deck is literally optimal. It can still get you masters, if you know what to do. The deck just needs better main deck monsters and probably a link 3

It takes a lot of actual thinking and knowing how the deck works to play it however if you know what you're doing it's pretty good and one of my favorite decks. I would recommend you watch several videos from different people kinda get an idea of the basic plays and knowledge of the deck and go from there.
Picking up the Deck is much easier in IrL compared to Master Duel. Even so, If you have the Gems, You need to Calculate how Many SR and UR chips you need to Generate the Bosses. Doing that will Easily trigger the D/D Secret packs. Buy 20 to 30 of them in bulk and hopefully you’ll get the Majority of the Cards you need along with some Extra cards to dismantle. As for playing it. I Know D/Ds is one of the most Balanced Pendulum Decks to ever be made! It crushed the Meta in the OCG and could’ve gone on to do the same in the TCG had Konami not cut the Archetype’s support in Half. It has a great 40/60 rate against Snake Eye if you know what cards to stop and how to not get hit by the Same Hand Traps. The Deck can definitely win, you just to find an out in the late game. Yes, the Deck has some hinderances in its effects at time, but that’s also what makes it tick. It’s a “Risk-Reward” Deck that like Lightsworns, may hit you with a loss unless you know how to prep and plan mid duel. If you can imagine the angles, you’ll find that this deck can be its own advantage Generator and win you the duel.
The deck is fun to pilot. It depends on which variant you want to run. I play a burn variant, but others play a hybrid of some monsters like Zeus or Bagooska. I have seen others play a maximum damage variant use Beowulf + LaPlace + Big Alex. There's also the Kali Yuga lock. It's my favorite deck. The deck is non-linear in terms of combos, but you can make a solid board.

Before declan was in duel links, his D/D cards are good for a starter deck while trying to rank up.
One of the things I love about this deck is that if you do the combo right you literally have an anti-meta
