Oh man I love Declan, I’m pretty sure there are already plenty of people already saying this but his deck is really cool, I love how you can just fusion, synchro, pendulum, and XYZ whenever you want with the right cards, and now thanks to Gilgamesh you can link, the D/D/D’s have such cool designs and I love using them I’m so glad they exist

I was enamored with Reji the moment he hit the screen. And when I saw his deck, it was a done deal. I run a pure D/D deck and my friends don't like when I show up to the table with it. Pure D/D has WILD recovery abilities. No matter how they broke my board, I could get 70-85% of my board back before they end their turn. Safe to say, I'm a Reji Fanboy.
The moment he fused Caesar and Abyss Ragnarok and that monstrosity of a boss popped out I almost fell off my chair. You can say ArcV was terrible but they definetly dedicated a lot of effort to Reiji and his deck, whenever there was a duel involving him you knew it wasnt going to be disappointing
The craziest thing to me is that Reiji couldn’t keep all his extra deck monsters in his extra deck. He summoned more than 15 cards from extra across the whole series.
@@djt08031996 actually og is correct, reiji ends up summoning close to 20 different D/D/D extra deck monsters in his arc v run However, since reiji is presented as a cold stratagist, theres nothing sugesting hes not tinquering with his deck as the show goes on, expecially since every pendulum card before the final zarc fight (exclusing yuya) are cards made by leo corp
There’s something I love about the super doom kings and they reference the previous villains that came before arc V so it’s in a sense a test for Yuya against all the final villains forms

I like it has a variety of card types and various inspirations for monsters, each with a role: mythological monsters, scientists, historical and legendary leaders and rulers and apocalyptic beings For monsters, the centaur, the minotaur, the merman, the satyr, the manticore, the harpy would be missing I think DDD is missing 2 Syncros, they are almost always groups of 3 like Genjis, Alexander and Caesar One could be the paladin or champion of kings like Orlando or Lancelot And the third evolution of Ragnarok is missing... a Synchro on the throne, Xerxes or Arthur ,instead of an evolution of Caesar they could have put Augustus, who was his heir
What's funny is that when Swamp King is first used, Declan makes a point about being able to fusion summon without using spell cards. Like my brother in christ, Swamp King IS the spell card
he meant he fuses without the spell card "polymerization" which is the original way to do so. and in arc v, as they focus on the summoning methods, they mostly use poly to fuse, and thus emphasize when it is done without.
With all that setup, Reiji summoned so many powerful monsters and imo Yuya shouldn't have been able to win that final duel. Damn him and the power of egao (smiles).
Exactly, Yuya is such a terrible character, the worst out of 4 of them, his father is also terrible. Arc V would have been so much better if it had a better protagonist. And yeah, Reiji is much better duelist than Yuya in any case, Yuya only won in the end because of action cards. In a normal master duel Reiji absolutely destroys. Arc V disrespected Reiji by the end, first they didn't give him 1v1 against Zarc (cause Reiji would have won), then he lost to Yuya in an action duel. That is one of the worst things in Yugioh animes, the same happened with Kaiser in GX, they made him use his weakest deck against Yubel, and even then he was about equal and could have won if it wasn't for forced plot (they didn't give him limiter removal at the end so that Yubel can survive and fight Judai). Then in S4 he was completely disrespected and ruined. Yugioh animes almost always do stuff like that to rivals..
Someone might've said this before, but VRains confirmed that these guys are making these chants up on the fly. I like to think Reiji is so smart he can just do that easily
The fact that gust high king Alexander gets with 3 D/D/D monster from the field 6000 attack points makes this deck strong for a good time Oracle D, ARC is there to get you lifepoints when you use the contract cards Beowulf is there ro destroy the traps from the opponent also you'res will also be destroyed I wouldn't say that but reiji did almost got to win against z-arc and that's because of there effects in the anime from z-arc if he has all supreme king dragon and z-arc he doesn't get any damage and his monsters won't be destroyed wich is really challenging
Imagine if Reiji had harmonic synchro fusion 😂 Edit: I dont have harmonic synchro fusion but I really like it, do you think it could work for D/D? I intend post Gilgamesh's lock but even before Gilgamesh lock if it gets negated. If you ask about it, 2 monsters like lv 6 Genghis and Orthros can bring out High Genghis or Beowulf and Bright Armaggedon or High Alexander. If you uses Copernicus and Lamia, you would get the Naturia lv 5 synchro (i dont Rembrandt the name, which sends 2 cards away to negate spells) and lv 6 Genghis. As someone who plays Nightowl (the lv 3 tuner) i would pair it with a lv 4 dd, so if it is pre Gilgamesh, i would raccomand always lv 6 Genghis e potentially a generic synchro 7 really good (maybe the stardust dragon tuner that sends 1 monster to the graveyard from deck and synchro summon during the opponent turn), if post Gilgamesh....well, you must go for lv 7Alexander and lv6 Genghis, lv 7 Alexander is the only lv 7 (unless Cerberus's pendulum effects allow you to summon Siefried instead) Is is a lot but....i mean i love D/D so yeah😊

Really strange to realize for a character as important as him, he only has 3 monsters with 3D model, being the two first "D/D Savant" and the original "Armageddon". Still, thanks a lot for the video, really love the summoning chant of the D//D/D !
@@magemaster724 For what I saw in the video (and only in the video) the only monsters Reiji summoned that are in CGI are the original Armageddon, and the first two D/D Savant in their pendulum zones. The rest is pure animation. Wich I find intriguing considering even side characters that appears only once sometimes have their ace in CGI (Like Comic Hero Arthur for example). Ohhh...I understand your question now..or I think I do. You thought I was saying 3D like "D/D/D" ?

But you are right ... though idk how many summoning animations in arc v are even done that way. and honestly idm it, the animations still look awesome.

For me after realising Comic Arthur has CGI (I really think the base form does), I started to get interested in it and I can’t help but to search and think about it now ^^’. Strangely in Arc-V outside of the Dimemsions Dragons and their variants (with the exceptions of the three non-pendulum Odd-Eyes I think), I can’t remember anything else than Rise, Revolution, Satellite, Ultimate Falcon and Chaos Gigant 🧐 Wow now that I think about it, Kurosaki really had a lot of them !
