For those who didn’t know: this piece was broadcasted every day on polish radio during the invasion of Poland in 1939 in WW2 as a nationalistic protest to rally the population of Poland against the invading Germany
am I the only one who admires Traum for his hard work and effort that he uploads regularly? No piano channel does this. And they're not just simples pieces too! These are incredibly hard masterpieces! Let's just appreciate him.
I completely agree with you. He deserves more attention for his incredible performances, not only that but the consistency in his upload schedule. Very talented guy for sure.
Even though this is far from Chopin’s most famous polonaise I actually prefer this one over the Heroic Polonaise just because this is a piece that was played by my teacher at my first recital. Wonderful playing, Traum
You know at some point it would be nice if Traum, Rousseau and Kassia let us all know a little bit about themselves. I'm just curious to know how they got to be so good at the piano, at what age they started playing, when they passed their level 10 tests and maybe just maybe even at what age they lost their virginity. OK maybe not that last part!
I'm assuming that Traum is a professional concert pianist and as such wants to keep their identity a secret for reason that socially speaking it may be harder to get concerts at high end venues if you post synesthasia content on youtube. Rousseau I believe is 3 different pianists and they've said a few things on their instagram, especially a few years ago. Kassia I know is Brazillian as she has said and doesn't seem inclined to share much more.
Hi Traum. I am pretty certain Chopin is your favoured choice. Not only do l hear tones and notes that l have not heard in any other recording but you just have that empathy that leaves me in awe of your talent. It's genuinely a privilege to hear and see you at work . Thankyou
To ba fair Rousseau said in one of their comments that they were having problems with their hands because of playing too much everyday. I really hope traum doesn't make the same mistake as them.
I’ve always believed that this piano work would be a perfect piece for graduation ceremonies. As great as Verdi’s Grand March from Aida or Pomp and Circumstance march by Elgar. Great work.
