Our favorite Mexican town so far! Lo De Marcos is a hidden gem.

  • This small, quiet hidden gem is our new favorite beach town in Mexico. It is only an hour north of Puerto Vallarta and 30 minutes away from Sayulita. This town is so unknown that even some Puerto Vallarta locals still have not heard of this town. The long, sandy beach is the type of beach you only see in movies, and the best part is that it's not filled with tourists yet. The town is safe and the locals are friendly. Fish lovers will love how fresh and cheap the fish is here. Don't wait too long before you come to Lo De Marcos so you don't miss this town's charm.

    LDM is my favorite town in Mexico too. The people are really nice too. Good food and at reasonable prices. Los Venados beach is beyond words. My second favorite town is Yelapa. Can't wait to go back too both places. Thanks for the great video!

      Agree with you 100%. We will definitely be going back to LDM soon. And we have a video of Yelapa that will be coming out soon. Stay tuned

    Do you think the location for LDM holds promise for remaining quiet vs the more tourist prone areas?

    • @AdventuresGoodVibes
      @AdventuresGoodVibes  3 месяца назад

      Locals don't think they have long to enjoy LDM as it is now. A little sad to be honest but it's like that all over Mexico

      Since we travel with dogs we always stay in an Airbnb. In LDM we stayed in one called Bungalows Chepina one block of the beach. But there are other Bungalow hotels right on the beach like Bungalow Margarita that looked nice but I really don't know. Now is the high season there so book everything early

      $1000 a month is pretty dam good. I'm trying to find one on short notice but I don't want to just show up and not find anything. I'll be sleeping on the beach. haha...Thanks! @@AdventuresGoodVibes

      It was good. But now we are in the middle of the high season so it's higher now. But it is still cheaper than other towns like Sayulita. And I did think a few times about getting my hammock and sleeping on the beach that's how nice it is lol

    Can't hear the woman in the coffe shop in a purple shirt. The background music is too loud. I just put down a deposit on an aprtment in lo de Marcos. I will be moving in next month. Woo-hoo! I am ready to meet my new community.

      Just get a hammock and live in a forest area, it's free.
      And the climate is good.

      @@AdventuresGoodVibes Guaranteed it won’t take that long as I have seen this happen to so many places along the coast. People are probably scooping up land as we speak.

      Yes, the prices for homes there are so low to live just a couple of blocks by the beach. We even thought about it lol
