Looks good and nice video. I’ve contemplated on taking a shot of cuervo every time you say racita or rocita during the entire video.

So i bought my 2017 f150 lariat fx4, about 3 or 4 months ago. It came with 18s and i put a front level kit from rough country. Because i though, its a fx4 it needs to be raised up...but now i bought some factory platinum 20s and was thinking about leaving the front kit on but just something about a reverse level look that i like more with 20s. So im going to remove the kit and remove the rear block to see how it looks. Im pretty sure i am going to like it better.

I'm looking at getting a newer f150 but they're about 3/4 inch too tall for my garage. The roof barely clears but the little black things on the back of the roof are too tall. I think they're the xm radio antennas. Any chance you could measure yours at the back, top of the rear door or to the top of those black antenna things?

what i don't understand is why a bigger shackle makes the car lower???

When the spring compresses it lets the ends go farther from center so the bed can get closer to the axle with the same amount of weight.

Thanks for sharing your experience. When you first dropped this truck by removing those blocks, did you notice any vibration afterwards? And the thick end of the shims should go towards the front or the back when you lower?

I did notice a vibration but that’s because of the flange bolts, they made the diff a little uneven. I’m sure if you have the factory bolts and remove the block it will be fine. And the thicker side of the shim goes on the back of the truck.

What are the exact leaf springs center boots you ordered? I’m going back from lowered to stock height with a drop shackle too but I already know I’m going to have to cut those bolts off lol.

I got them on rockauto.com, just put your truck info in, and it should pop up. I can’t remember the exact brand, but I’m sure they all work the same.

I had it on a 3/5 IHC with 24’s, But I got bored of the lowered look. So now ima going with a reverse level, and some 22x12. Check my older videos you can see when I had it lowered!
