    What type of wheels and what size tires are you running? I just got a 23 TLX Type S. I’m trying to go as wide as possible on my tires. Also what part of Florida are you in? I’m in Miami right now, my first time to Florida ever. I haven’t seen one Type S TLX whole time I’ve been out here. I love that our cars are rare to see 💫😎

      19x9.5 +35 offset right now the tires have a small side wall but ideally I run a 275/35/19. I’m in Miami Gardens area. Our cars are rare but slowly I’m starting to c them a little more.

    Nice wheels, what brand?. My '23 has the multi spoke factory wheels that I like more than the Y spoke wheels

      I had the regular stock 20s. I sold them. Didn’t care too much for the performance 20s. Since I was gonna swap them out.

    Dam car out of warranty on oil changes already? Diff Change already?? Why? I thought you would get this done at Acura at least for two years. Just asking.

      Acura doesn't cover fuild change like Trans fuild or different even oil change that's on the owner. Which is regular maintenance unless it's a lease

      @dadelives1 what @beansr7556 said is true. Car still is under warranty. I just don’t take it to the dealer. Oils changes at the dealer are never “free” even if they tell u that they are. A few years ago I canceled one of those dealer maintenance deals on a lease and it was like $1500. For an every 10k mile oil change. I can change my oil every 4k miles and still not spend $1500. As far as the diff fluid I was just as surprised as u are. The fun to drive very rear wheel drive nature of this car makes the rear diff work hard. A design flaw maybe down the road.

      Got my diff done at 8k its anywhere from there to 12k for the first one then every 20-30k after

      @TypeS_Rafa yeah never buy any add-ons when we have warranty makes no sense lol just a rip off but my dealership I actually get free oil change for life. No extra cost i checked my contract and paper work. The first acura I bought they sold me on all of those things and canceled once I found its basically scam cause precertified get warranty on everything. I have 18 tlx aspec awd just did both diffs and trans fuild and brake fuild flush. Maintenance is key. Got a new engine under warranty too lol my oil change I do it at like 4k and they can't tell me no. The oil life on the car doesn't even last till 10k lol that would have it at 0%

    Bro do 3k oil change oil is cheap. Plus you’re in Texas where it’s mostly always very hot. 5k too much

    • @TypeS_Rafa
      @TypeS_Rafa  Год назад +1

      Definitely was considering it. I’m actually in Florida so it’s probably even hotter. I use liquid moli 5-30. That 0-20 stuff is water. I’ve done 4 oil changes since I got it. One at 1k. It doesn’t go past ~4k without an oil change.

      @@TypeS_Rafa i use 0-20 Mobil full synthetic eventho it’s a thinner oil I make sure I change it 2500-3k oil is cheap in my eyes.

      I agree. There is no such thing as over maintenance. As long as it gives us peace of mind. I will definitely start doing them at around 3k. Thanks bro
