Manitowoc ice machine troubleshooting, compressor won’t turn on because of bad pressure switch

- Working on a Manitowoc ice machine Model #IY1474C-161. This machine shut off on Safety #2 Long Harvest. After clearing the alert I completed some diagnostics on the ice machine and found that it had multiple problems….
You are doing a great service for the industry. You are a great source of knowledge for the new guys trying to get w foot hold into this trade, let alone IM troubleshootING.

Great video, its very typical for staff to jam a utensil in there, see it all the time. They don't have a clue how much that touchpad is.
First time I have actually seen a low pressure switch go bad, usually its the fan cycling switch that torches itself.

How long did take for you to actually get Manitowoc support on the phone?
I don’t remember exactly how long it took. Manitowoc is usually pretty quick to answer the phone. Maybe 20 minutes or so.
Those torched FCCs are no joke. I actually saw one catch fire. I kicked myself for not catching a good shot of it. And yes those freaking touchdown pads are always getting damaged!
