Sweet guitars. I love the fender acoustics with the slanted back strat headstocks. Just not a fan of plastic tuner buttons. They'd look bomb with gold tuners instead. Especially that Malibu with a gold scratch guard. Loving that Malibu 🖤
I like the way they sound, and hate the way they look. The Malibu looks kinda like a Lowden shape…like a modified Dreadnought. Also, why does Fender use the Strat headstock? That ruins it for me, and I LOVE Strats; I own four. Always nice to see you guys. Peace. 🐰💙🇺🇸✌️

I just got rid of a Fender Kingman Jumbo acoustic electric guitar. I gave it to my buddy! I own a Malibu Classic in Cosmic Turquoise. I'm feeling the overall sound and vibe of the Palomino! Good job guys! 👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🎶🎶🎶🎶😎😎😎😎
It baffles me how the paramount line didn't take off. They're extremely well made guitars. I have one and it looks and sounds amazing for the price i paid. That palomino looks and sounds great as well. Fender is definetely improving its acoustic line up.
I will miss the Paramount series. My PD-220e is really beautiful, it loses to a Guild acoustically, but the Sonatone pickup that has the body mic works really really well. I’m really glad this series is using that PU system as well. Just build them lighter, Fender.
Fender should be paying you guys some sort of a royalty fee here because Cooper can make just about anything with a few strings tied to it sound good ahah 😆
I’m not so much an acoustic player. I have had each era of fender acoustic though and I am excited to try a tobacco sunburst King out soon! I like their strangeness. Everyone trying to be just alike ruins the fun. Also not every J45 or Martin plays well. I’m sure one of these will sing for me.
The giant white fretboard inlays are a bit much for me and it looks like there was a sale on white duct tape... I also can't get down with the strange pickguard shape. However, the Sienna Sunburst (?) color is gorgeous!
Before you purchase one of these guitars read the reviews, Amazon has many with verified sales, Fender no longer belongs to Fender, a company called Servco Pacific Inc is the major shareholder. All the Fender acoustic guitars I have owned the bridge lifts at the back, just because it looks good does not mean it will not come apart later even if it is kept in a hardshell case.
A friend of mine has an old Fender Capistrano and in many ways that thing is just as good as any of my Martins and Gibsons. Especially the volume of the Capistrano is ridiculous. I think these are sleepers, because if you find one it will usually go for just a couple of hundred dollars. The Capistrano was basically Fender’s take on a D-28. I have a D-28 and… it does kind of sound similar, but the Fender is just a lot drier and louder.
Something is off: verbally they say the Malibu has a shorter neck (25") but the website says 25.5". Which is it, Cooper? Nice sounding guitars, but I like the Malibu then Palimino over the King. Thanks
I liked the Palomino the best. Great comments, gentlemen. “Avacado toast on the “ranch” (40 acres at best, I’m sure.) has me lamenting the death of the west. It is what it is. But if you haven’t eaten dust and bugs riding drag or flank, you just don’t fully understand the love. Thanks, boys.
They strongly hint at it and the question is obvious. Why doesn't Fender just throw a bit of caution to the wind and start producing some quality American-made guitars? The same applies to PRS...they make excellent electric models but fail to manufacture quality acoustic guitars.
Both have tried it and both failed but I would Like to see them both do it again. The guitar business is difficult in that once the public has made up their kind on what it is you build, it is difficult to deviate. - Chris
Man, I hate to he critical because those guitars do look the look and have all the vibe one could ask for, but.... I really didn't like the tone at all. They say the lack of a nuanced tone is what makes the J-45 so attractive to singer songwriters because the guitar gets out of a singers way. But for me I'd take a dove or hummingbird over a j45 every single time. And with these the tone came across as on the flat side of thin. But that's just my personal opinion and no way meant to disparage you guys or your playing obviously. Anyhow, hate to be that guy but thought it would only be fair to share. Thanks and cheers
Honestly, I have never liked the look, quality or sound of Fender acoustic guitars and to me the Fender Acoustasonic was just plain ole ugly and to my ears it never did sound did right plugged in or not. However, IMO these guitars just might be able to compete...maybe...I don't know. Anyway, I really like that orange color with gold pick-guard on that Malibu Vintage guitar (seems more like an OM or 000 nice and small) and from what I can hear, it sounds pretty good. The King sounds better to my ears, but I don't care for the dreadnaught style guitars. Don't get me wrong, I love Fender Strats and Amps...I have at least 20 strats and a dozen amps and I have used them for over forty years on stage and though i have many different brands of guitars...Fender is my go to guitar. This series looks and sounds pretty good and just remember tone before looks. If Fender stays in this genre (simple, nice tones and with elegant lines) maybe one day they will be able to compete with the acoustic big boys i.e. Martin, Taylor, Santa Fe, Bourgeois etc... Well, Good luck either way Fender...you will need it. But If not, your real claim to fame is still the great Leo Fender Stratocaster. IMO it can't be beat...ask any famous guitar player...whoops most are dead. Just my 2 cents worth. Peace.
See, this is where Fender let themselves down. They introduce the Paramount range which was such a step into proper acoustic guitars for them, and then these 😬 I know it’s a different price point but these look so poor. They don’t play well, imo they look cheap all over. 1 step forward 2 steps back

avg guitars at best ..Fender is no martin or taylor gibson etc. when it comes to acoustics the gretsch guitars i played which were cheaper blow these away...this would be perfect at 300 dollars max

The King plays a lot faster than the other two... But seriously, I need that guitar in sea-foam green with a mother-of-pearl pickguard.

I have been enjoying my Fender resonator bought in 2017 which been a gigging guitar as well as a good friend. Still going strong.😊
