Agreed. I deleted my muffler on my 35i and liked how it sound but there was still too much drone in the cabin. I went to this place and they installed the custom J pipe, so it’s much better now
@Demarcus Runs Ark honestly idk i never heard that but i have heard that str8 pipe possibly uses more gas and runs thru ur gas faster. (which may be wrong tho)
I like the Flowmaster the best. A Super 40 muffler would have been a better choice than the Super 44 muffler. The Super 40 has a deeper sound and less drone due to a thicker case. I have one on my Silverado.
I had 2X super 10s on this set up… but it sounded like a Lion yawning .. not sure how else to describe it😅 Later, took then off completely, and I couldn’t be happier. Left the Reso because it’s still family car. This Engine (B58) already sounds good, you just gotta let it breathe with a muffler delete, IMO
@@jadenl457 Most BMWs can have an M Package. I have this exact same car and same year in the x40i instead of s40i. All the M package does is add on M styling trim like the black trim and sportier exterior look, M logo on the rims and door sills and a sportier steering wheel with upgraded seats and headliners. So they have the M visual flair without the performance.
Considering doing the same on my X7 but I have a cold air intake. It makes a difference when you change exhaust with cold intake so I’m still on the wall on what to do.
Hey love your channel! Would it be possible to get the specs for the j pipes please? I did a muffler delete on my x5 40i and the drone between 1750-1900 is unbearable!
Why i like flowmaster mufflers because they have very thick walls pn theor mufflers and i think that helps alot woth the tin can sounds that come from some of these bmw's and even smaller 4cyl engines.
Flowmaster without a doubt! If you go back n forth and listen several times - the Dynomax is louder but it's a high-pitch louder. Flowmaster is a lower, deeper tone, the clean choice! Straight pipe sounds straight up horrible!!!!!!!!
Mufflers and resonators actually create Pollution as they break down. Walk down a freeway for 10 miles with a neodymium magnet, you’ll get enough rare earth metals to buy a 40.
Liberal land sounds rough. I ran with long tube headers no cats with a 18 inch pipe coming off the headers for 6 months until I had the money to get my true duel setup with 0 issues from the local police. Lol at night if I gassed on it you could see blue flames hitting the ground.
He would have more than likely bought the car that way as it is an x5 with the optional M package which includes the option of that grille right off the production line.
I think the Dynonax Race bullets sound the best personally. They are deeper and sportier sounding.

Finally an exhaust video for the G05!! Thank you!
str8 pipe is always the way to go🤤🙌
@Demarcus Runs Ark honestly idk i never heard that but i have heard that str8 pipe possibly uses more gas and runs thru ur gas faster. (which may be wrong tho)
After hearing a V8 all these sound terrible
Ehh no. Dont be a cheap ass and get a proper exhaust
never been a huge fan of straight pipes but man does that turbo 6 sound good
The dynomax sounded better to me. The flowmaster sounded better than the straight pipe

Right on
Definitely straight pipe for the win

I like the flowmaster. I like the bubbles
I liked option A the most the flowmaster one.
I gotta say straight pipe because I love the dsg farts and it’s not like any of those raspy cars when straight piped
It sounds pretty good. Not an M though. It's a regular s-drive or x-drive 40i. There's an M50i and an X5 M, no 40 M anything on the X5.
So then you must be able to add the M package on BMW’s that are new enough or compatible?
@@jadenl457 Who knows, they're even letting EVs be M badged now. It's a sad state of affairs.

M Performance Muffler with res delete a good set up for the X5.
I have the the same set up on my X5 and there's zero drone
A Vibrant 10632 may have been worth considering. The sound would absolutely be cleaner.

Hi! Did you get rid of it?

Any drone with the flow master?
Straight pipe wins this one for me! The sound seems more low key rumble with no raspy tones
How much is this to get done?
I like option B the Dino max, I just had the muffler delete, but it is too load for me. I’m going back on Wednesday to have a moderate muffler added.
Not a 4 liter.
That’s the B58 correct?
Ys bro
Not that this one does (its not bad at all) , but do you ever tell the customer "hey, bro. I've done a lot of these before and it sounds like crap. "?
Dynomax with the J pipe! Option B all the way
I don’t think you can make a b58 sound bad. They all sound great.
just need a bigger Turbo and HPF to complete the car:
Flowmaster sounded the best to me. However it is what the owner wants.
I think a 4" single, big bottle resonator, however tips are done.
Hi if I install the flowmaster muffler will I experience any problems like check engine light and sensor issues?
No
I wish I don’t live in California due to the emission restrictions

Straight pipe for me but the dynomax was nice too.
I would like to hear borla s stype muffler’s on the bmw G05! Hopefully y’all do one of those.
3.5L v6 twin turbo?
B58
The Flowmaster sounded the best to me. There are very few cars thats sound good straight piped, this wasn't one of them (IMO.)
str8 pipe 🔥
A sounds best while revving, and C sounded best on take off...I'd pick C
how much?
Give us a call at 615-612-6244 to discuss
Gotta go B dynomax is crazy
I LIKE THE FLOWMASTER SUPPER 44
That shit sounds good honestly. Dynomax is the best imo
How the hell would I even add the flow master or the dynomax to my X5 fr
Bring it to us
Flowmaster sounded the best to me personally.
Def straight pipe
If its after the cats it wont effect it.
Straight pipe all the way but they all sound great tho but yea my choice is Straight Pipe
sounds so odd for a B58 tbh
Straight pipe ❤
b with the dynomax
Straight pipe 👏👏
Any chambered muffler will cause drone.
Nope. I have a super 44 with a resonator delete on my 2022 F-150 5.0 and I have zero drone
It's the opposite, actually. When it's not chambered and straight through, it'll drone
Dynomax 👍
I like B
A little late to the party.. but why did you have to up badge the title... X5 M40i isnt a thing.
Option c it sound mean 😈
Straight pipe
Option 3 dino
Flowmaster
Dynomax
I love it because I have a x5 40i close to me with that after market grill 😂. Then he tried to race my x5M competition and got a big whoopin hahaha
Strit pip
I'm not digging any of them, they all do not fit that car... its needs something deep and throaty. But if I had to pick I'd take race bullet....
You should leave BMWs alone
Putting M colors on the grille on a non- M is a douche move.
He would have more than likely bought the car that way as it is an x5 with the optional M package which includes the option of that grille right off the production line.
Lol

There is no such thing as X5 M40
C
🤣 V6s sound so 🚮
They do, Too bad it’s not a v6
@@Sticknmove_b58 That is a V6. Its a X5 s40i which is the V6 model. BMW does not make an X5 M40i.
@@adamthompson3010When did the x5 ever come with a v6? The “40i”’s are all inline 6’s. 😐
