As an older traditional angler that has just caught the feeder rod carp bug this was a perfect explanation. I've always kept it simple and this is so simple.
I'm no sure about them speed beads, when connecting your loop onto the speed bead, some of them are pretty tight. I feel like your loop gets chaffed when its pulled on.
This knot was used by carp and specimen hunters for years before method system came out, would strongly suggest wetting the line before tightening the knot, specially on heavier lines.

As a newcomer to method feeder fishing this was the best video I’ve seen yet because of the clarity & simplicity of the instructions. Cheers!

Will them speed beads work with any guru feeder . And what model guru feeder is it
you prefer the free running method feeder rig or the semi fixed inline method rig?
Could you let me know which method feeder is that exactly. Or can I use a speed bead with the guru x safe feeder
Can I use the elastic stem in the inline version or the method feeder or is it just compatible with the x safe method feeder
thanks frankie now i will get it right ..
I bought a guru inline method feeder (28g) but it didnt come with a speed bead. It only has a rubber tip and a swivel. Is the speed bead very needed?
How many gs Is that method feeder your using mate

What size hook?
like? yes
I used this knot on my hook length.. it was that strong, I tore the tenches lips off

👍👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥
Are these feeders interchangeable like the preston ics range if i wanted to swap to a hybrid feeder or do I have to set it all up again from scratch
With the inline you need to tie from scratch. If the fishery lets you use the elasticated version it's easy to swap.
The thought of doing that in the wind but the bank....... no chance!!!!!!
Not being funny bud but in line feeders usually come with setup instructions
Thanks for the feedback, hopefully people find this videos helpful.
