    So nice to hear someone explain things calmly and not over complicate it with loads of different gear. Only started getting back into fishing after about 15 years off since finding your videos I'm a lot more confident and catching more fish.

    Ive been fishing over sixty years. I have never used a feeder, they didnt exist for most of my life lol. Thought I would buy one to try it out and looked on u tube at how to fix the rig. My God, all the others I watched you needed to be a mensa member to understand. Thanks for a sensible, no bullshit, easy way to do the job. First class instruction.

    Just what I have been looking for - an unbiased, honest description of tackle and techniques that will help me catch more fish. I fished for many years but have recently returned to it. There have been a lot of changes. I am looking forward to viewing your videos. I have subscribed without a second thought - Thanks ... David

    Thank you so much for doing this. I've taken up fishing again and have been fishing for a week. I fished a bit when I was young but had no idea what I was doing. Just simple float fishing. This is an excellent, clear and easy tutorial.
    I've used inline weighs with a pop up boilie rig on several occasions in fisheries and canals..... absolutely nothing took the bait. This technique is next to try!

    Great video thanks. I've noticed that many anglers have switched to using a bomb that connects using a method feeder type stem, especially on commercials for 'bomb & pellet' fishing instead of traditional ledger.
    I can see that this enables a quick swap between method & bomb methods, but many bombs (eg; Guru) do not have the line slot that enables a quick switch.
    In such cases, what is the benefit of an inline stemmed bomb over a traditional ledger for ledger fishing please and how do you decide when to use either the new inline stem bombs or traditional bombs?

    • @AmateurAngling
      @AmateurAngling  Год назад +1

      It is believed that stemmed bombs when used on a running rig are more likely to self hook Carp than a swivel lead.

      I don't flavour the feed, but I do sometimes add flavour to the hook bait. Please see ruclips.net/video/ZeMjaZyo1wc/видео.html

    Hello. If it doesn’t complicate for you, can you answer one question, why in a commercial reservoir I can’t catch a fish on a hairy rig. I live in Georgia. I tried catch fish on the method feeder. I`ll tried it on 11 reservoir.

    Do you leave your line under the clip?

  • @codhunter.6818
    @codhunter.6818 5 лет назад +1

    Why use a swivel on the hook length, use a quick change bead instead.

  • @tonitonev1659
    @tonitonev1659 4 года назад

    I got it all, but what happens if you catch a fish big enough to break your line because of the clip? how does it work

    • @AmateurAngling
      @AmateurAngling  4 года назад +2

      You may notice I only put the line behind the clip, not around it. If the clutch slips to the clip I very quickly reach in and pull the line off the clip and allow the fish to run. If I know the lake has a lot big fish, I don't use the clip. Hope this helps, best of luck.

  • @vtrmcs
    @vtrmcs 4 года назад

    This isnt a method feeder and the fish dont always hook themselves. This hybrid is a free running rig, whereas the method "proper" isn't. Theres a big difference between the two. Both work, but its important to know the difference.
