Toyotas are so overrated and overpriced. I’m so glad I bought a 2024 CHEVY COLORADO TRAIL BOSS. It will eat up and spit out the silly Tacomas and even Tundras!
When you see chevy commonly getting 500k to 1 mil miles on their gas trucks, than we can talk on why there is a price difference. Im a chevy and toyota lover. Completely non bias. Im just speaking facts. I own one of each. Ive owned many of both manufacturers. And was a mechanic for 15 years bedore a career change. The price difference will be in the fact a toyota truck lasts 4x longer. Toyota truck cult people can legit own one truck in the time you own for Chevy Trucks. The chevy Colorado cant chew and spit out a tundra. It's a 2.7L turbo with 305 hp. The tundra is rated just under 400 hp and wayyyyyy more torque than the Colorado. The hybrid model is upper 400 hp and mkd 500s for torque. The Colorado is faster than the tacomas, yes.100%. Again... long-term reliability is the key. Even than the tacomas and Colorados are around the same price
You're insane. Toyota trucks reliability and build quality are unmatched. I used to make parts for all of them. Toyota is far above any American truck brand.
@@nezabytes You see, the fact that you’d still use the term “American” to define a vehicle categorically in 2024 (versus “Japanese” I’m assuming you’d say of Toyota) shows that you’re clueless about the reality of automotive manufacturing today. If we took both trucks entirely apart and put all the parts/ pieces down in rows to identify where they all came from, not to mention where they were both assembled, you’d be hard pressed to a difference. In fact, you’d see they both have lots of parts from China (unfortunately), in addition to countless other countries. News flash: in 2024 Chevrolets don’t “come from” Detroit and Toyotas don’t “come from” Japan. So, since origin is cleared up, I’ll move to performance. The 2023-24 Trail Boss Colorado is a beast by comparison when it comes to power. I’ve driven both Tacos and Tundras; the taco by comparison to my Colorado is weak and feels like half the truck (Colorado is larger than Tacoma but not quite as large as Tundra, but closer to it than Tacoma); and while Tundra has more power than Tacoma and gets closer to a power match with my truck, it’s not nearly as tight (the reason people choose tacos over tundras) because the tundra just has a big ol’ full size boat vibe about it-like a Silverado. Nope-the Trail Boss lives up to it’s name. With all the overlander mod plans I have for my truck, I’m so glad I’m not doing it with a Tacoma (starting with the fact that 20” wheels and a 2” lift are standard on the Trail Boss trim). It tows nearly 1,500 lbs more than a Tacoma, and the list goes on. I always pass the hundreds of plain ol, dime-a-dozen Tacomas on the freeways and think it would cost the price of the truck all over again to make one of them stand out aesthetically. My Colorado stood-out from the crowd right off the lot! As for your “American” truck comment, I could only wish it was truly and entirely American because I’m a patriot. Unfortunately, for sake of the country and our economy, it’s not American. But for the sake of truck performance and reliability-LIKE EVERY VEHICLE MAKE-it’s hardly different than Toyota.
Mt best friend bought a 2023 trail boss and traded it 6 months later had all types transmission and computer problems. But agree toyota ruind the Tundra

They are both actually the same in 0-60 and 1/4 mile... besides who buys a truck for 0-60 or 1/4 mile🤣🤣🤣🤣 what a ford fan boy🤣🤣🤡🤡💯
Toyota Tundra trade-ins are getting rejected by dealers because of the V6 engine recall
No dealership wants a twin-turbo V6 Toyota Tundra or Lexus LX600 because of an engine recall with no fix

Not in Tennessee. I've got 3 dealers wanting me to trade my 22 for a new one. I don't know if I'd believe all the click bate cartubers
Yea why not. Then they can mark up the used one and sell it to another sucker like you. Toyota issued a recall on 100k+ njn hybrid Tundra engines lol.
It looks like ass and feels super cheap. Left Toyota after 20 years. Ford for the win with real trucks.
Junk
Metal and plastic
Same thing all vehicles are made of
NO it is not better, it is far worse... any other questions?
That's one ugly truck
No
Usually people say that because they can’t afford it. 😂🤣 keep driving grandma’s car.
@@neversurrender9070Yeah, he probably keep paying his monthly payment for his Chevy Spark
If we took both trucks entirely apart and put all the parts/
pieces down in rows to identify where they all came from, not to mention where they were both assembled, you’d be hard pressed to a difference.
Hahahahah lemme know how that's going in about 6 weeks
Engine junk😢
Sorry not sorry to much plastic
Over priced!!!! Jack
Overpriced and no tow hooks, ain't getting Tundra 4 sure. 🥱
If you need tow hooks that bad you probably shouldn't be driving. You can add them if you want and there so much aftermarket. You're buying a toyota that will last. Not some plastic Ford
That is a upper mid level trim. They start in the 40s. Recovery hooks are easy to install.
@@MsAce0424 Consumption is almost the Sama as V8, who knows about reliability, and we all want 4x4 with lockers and where I live those are high $50s and Toyota almost never lovers prices. Yeah new one is better looking and it's faster but 💵🤷
Wayyyy overpriced and overrated
TODAY CAR AND TRUCK NO BETTER THAN YESTERYEAR CAR AND TRUCK.
It wins in the ugly department
