Yes there are. But if you live in a place, where you don't need it to survive, you can choose. There are some places (and in history), where it is necessary and I think most vegans agree with this. I see only reason to eat meat, if you are allergic to legumes, vegetables and nuts or live in inhospitable places.

I'm appalled at Piers Morgan behavior here... is he a host or on a personal mission? Super rude how often he interrupts here & then even proceeds to get loud to talk over guests.
My opinion is of these vegans is if they are not mammals or a scale which they can visualise then it doesn't matter to them, it's a victim in a cause. Dairy animals which are killed and produced as food are also bred. We don't have that same choice when it comes to the reproduction of insect life. Also the implications of destroying the agricultural industry and forcing the price up due to supply and demand. Next problem is what to do you do with all those animals that have no purpose? This opens up a can of worms; as an omniovore we should have the choice to eat both, no?
You are failing to acknowledge that more than half of the crops grown in the world are specifically to feed the animals you eat, so omnivores, even if they only ate murdered animals are still responsible for more crop deaths. Stop rationalizing your poor morals like a four-year-old.
Piers Morgan's argument is dreadful. He's comparing the process of making bread with animals being killed. Not the sharpest tool in the box when it comes to this issue. The logic of pig bum eaters leaves a lot to be desired.

What is the problem with bread
Factory made sliced bread contains L-Cysteine which is made from human hair, duck feathers or pig hair. So is that Vegan?
Do they know about that tick that makes you vegan? Maybe that's why more people are becoming vegan
What I don't understand...did the slaughtered animals in question complain that their slaughter is out of control? Or, the vegans felt that sticking their noses where it doesn't belong, (because apparently the route they took is a lonely and depressing one), was the right thing to do?😂

I totally agree with piers on this one. They are a rotten egg to society these days. They need to go live in Gazza and see the real world out there. 1st problems these days. Soft
