Classy of Chip to pull his starters already up 38-0 in the 2nd quarter… on the flipside I saw Dan Lanning at Oregon in week 1 trot out his 1st string QB already up 50-7 on Portland St coming out of the 1st half. Just to pad Bo Nix’s stats.
cry about it, portland state couldn't even stop the 3rd string offense from Oregon.
The Bruins looked very balanced & healthy along with great team work.
Of course they going to look balanced as they should playing a lower division school. UCLA paid NCCU to play them just to beat up on them like that. Same thing Coach Deion Sanders was and still talking about.😢

@@DT-un3bu The thing about NCCU is the OL and DL are not good when they have to play against teams with size. The reason they was able to beat Coach Prime JSU team is in part because their OL and DL are undersized too and thus the match up was favorable.

You can't claim that your talent is just as good as everyone else and then when you play against said upper level talent you get beat down like this. If you look at the position battles, NCCU was out class at every position. This is the real reason HBCU talent don't get drafted more than they do. At least when SCSU played Clemson, 2 years ago, that some of the students had good showing at their position battle against Clemson players.

This is what happens when you build your program only to beat teams in the two weakest conferences in FCS, the MEAC and the SWAC. NDSU, SDSU, etc. rarely gets 3 through 4 stars recruits but are able to develop talent where they rank among the best in FCS and can beat FBS schools. Coach Oliver need to stop trying to be Coach Prime light and worry about building a team that can hang and win against higher level fcs schools on the regular and not getting blown out by FBS schools. I think Morgan State is the most dangerous team in the MEAC, as they have shown they can beat out of conference FCS schools and even handle themself against FBS schools.

UCLA has yet to play anybody. They are still the 3rd best team in California behind USC and Fresno State. You will get badly exposed next week against UTAH.
