If I wanted to go into cyber security, what should I major in? I heard that getting a degree in IT was a waste of money, but CS is something I’d like to avoid

What online platform do you recommend to practice skills? I have been in a plateau where I am currently going for my BS degree in cyber security and its all online but I’ve been having trouble finding an effective platform that’ll provide hands on experience.
