This is the perfect video for me. I have been working towards being an cloud security architect and defining these roles helps me understand what I really want to do going forward. Thank you
Thanks for taking the time to defining various roles within the cloud security space. The field is vast, but each person needs to find a comfortable niche. And that also depends on the needs the organization or business is adding to its mission or strategy. AWSome! 🙃🍷🤓
Very informative video! I have an engineering background (mechE undergrad, systems eng. master's) and currently in a management role. I have been working to do a career pivot and get into cybersecurity. Security architect is what I've come across in my research as something I would likely fit well in to. I've been studying for Security+ with the goal of going for the CISSP in the future. Also took Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, to take that certification and keep pursuing cloud as well. It was validating that you highlighted this exact path in your video, as this progression made sense to me. Look forward to seeing your journey as you add AWS and GCP to your skillset. I recall my instructor for Azure Fundamentals stating there is something like 70~80% or so overlap between the cloud providers, conceptually. Mostly just different terminology and small differences between them. Being well skilled in one should be a great benefit to you in learning the others.
I loved reading your comment and the structure that you have towards your journey it’s definitely inspiring! I’m so happy to see a good solid plan to pivot into the space considering your existing experience! Thanks for the great feedback and support 🙏🏽
I have an interview for a Sr Security Architect role soon and I never held a Architect role before convenient I come across this video which was helpful
I want to shift my career to IT. I'm very interested in Linux, networking, servers and databases for last 2-3 years, so I would really love to become Linux sysadmin. Today I talked to my friend who is senior developer and he told me that basically no one wants Linux sysadmins anymore, and that he wishes me a lot of luck to obtain this or any similar role, and that basically the only realistic jr. roles I can count on obtaining are this-or-that variant of developer and software engineer roles. Would you say that he's right?
Your friend is very wrong but your decision to be linux sys admin is very right please do because still there is a dire need for good linux sys admin even for entry level you won't believe ingot so many calls for linux admin job roles than windows each and every field has its own cons ask your friend if developer is a big thing why they created a big blunder that caused many systems to go down 👎 with a poor security update like the crowd strike incident so please don't get me wrong if you are interested please do pursue it what you want to be

Very helpful thank you! Any thoughts on the Microsoft SC-100 Cybersecurity Architect Exam?
Hey! I think it’s a good one to have, I have a video of my experience and learning materials on the channel
What is the best note taking method to use that really help understanding the concepts easier and help retain the information?
Can you make a video on how to become a cyber security architect from scratch ? Starting from zero ?
