The handling and controls are actually pretty spot on im a og cpm player been playing since 2018 (same account) you probably dont change your driving experience settings the best tip i give to other players is instead of using arrow and tilt for steering use the actual steering wheel setting and raise the sensitivity up a tad bit and turn off all car settings like ABS Etc it also help with frame rate reducing lag

CPM needs to rework the physics badly, plus handling is bad, you can't drift realisticly and the car feels like it has no roll bars and spins out immediately. When you try to use RWD or Drift mode, you spin out or flip, and AWD drifiting looks goofy and unrealistic. But i can say their controls, suspension system is good. The game that they should take notes on with the physics is Car X but a bit more grippy and more appropriate for regular driving or just mimic DZO's physics. And also for driving fast on the corners are so irritating in CPM since as said, it loses grip and flip over easily if you don't set up the suspension and COG first. Othe than physics CPM is great and the customization is top notch
Yes it's true, drifting needs a lot fixing but over all it's hard making a physics system that accomades multiple driving styles that's why Real Racing & Assoluto Racing feel good while driving fast but suck at lower speeds. They should fix some issues but over all ... Cpm strikes the balance pretty well!

They should also heavily focus more on optimization. CPM had horrible lag due to poor optimization..

Yes we need more large SUVs like Land cruiser & Patrol and it would cool if each car has a custom speedometer like in RDS

There is a lot to improve. But some things you offered are cool but unnecessary (like rear cameras). I mean....it is mobile game. My phone is 2021 Samsung and struggles a lot on a bit higher graphics.

Also, i wish that the upcoming game get rid of the glitch/inner cars which is too OP for the game and kills the balance inside the game... Petition of disabling third-party apps that modifies car's statistics!! But maybe put some room for those other third-party apps that will enable us, players, to further customize our cars much easier... This will allow players to be able to do whatever it is their after for their cars in terms of customizations and styling...
But, on a side note, Do we actually need a new game?? Can't they just implement those new features in the current game? It's sad to think that if this game comes, many players will start to quit the original game and start the new one, killing the OG CPM we all knew and loved...

Yes, the devs have already started by banning GG (Game Guardian) so that's a step in the right direction... Sometimes it's hard to do new things on a old platform, olzhass has been using this platform since like 2016. New games have come out and with each update the game gets more unstable, I think that's because they are pushing the limits of the current cpm and it's engine, to future proof cpm they gotta make another one to remain competitive, I mean GTA didn't make only 1 GTA and update that continuosly or Forza they keep releasing new version to keep up with the current way of making games.

Personally I think this new game looks like all the others. Seriously they have created 2 new games, they should work on the real one after abandoning 40% of there player base, and then just add some ahh cars we never asked for (like always).
