That Asksvin taking a bath 😂
I just killed the queen and entered the ashlands, I have now a askvin called charmeleon
lol same I also just killed the queen and reached the ashlands😂
Same here, just reached ashlands. We landed next to a spawner, and got crushed. 😅
@@Rurix48 When me and my friend landed, in our third try because we died teo times before even reaching there, we found a spawner and a morgen.
The production quality is kind of insane, hope you get more views
If you’d like to drop many eggs as singles for hatching, you can use a wall item stand and rapidly press [number key] to attach one egg to the stand and [E] to remove it, where it will drop to the ground as a single item. I usually aim for an upper corner of the item stand so I don’t accidentally pluck the egg out of the air.
Eyyy! That’s slick. Thank you!
Embr back again with yet another very well edited and informative video :) Keep it up!
En kyllä ikinä ois olettanu näkeväni sinua täällä.
Askvins look like mega Necks
truee Necks on TRT hahah
They are two star necks that completed the Weapon X program
They remind me of Dodongo, a Boss from zelda OoT
Asksvin the best doggo... horse.... pig.. thing...
I was going to say lizard.. hence the eggs
Well its translated into a ash pig.
Froggos

Thank you for the guide!
great video as always, best guides out there
Another very well done and informative guide!
great work as always !
Thanks for the guide. This taming process takes a lot of patience
The best guides, wonderful edition!!! 👏👏👏
Thanks Embr!
Yet another very good tutorial. To the point, and with brilliant editing. The examples are fun and drive home the point. :) Thanks!
I love your videos about this. On a side note, i hope the devs will add an armor options for our companions. In my recent playtrough with my friend, we tamed two Loxes to travel around with. After about 2 minutes, a Deathsquito ambushed the Lox and took out 70% of its health... Our riding adventures were a very short one. We burried our pets and tried again, but once again it was very shortlived. In Ashlands we tried to tame Asksvins to ride with aswell, but after about 2 minutes of riding, the Asksvins had lost their lives... I dont wish for any visual armor upgrades for pets/companions, but a simple armor slot where you can craft a pet armor to put in so they become more durable would make the Valheim riding/companion experience a much better one.
Top quality editing as always! ❤
Great video as always!
More guides like this please! good vídeo!
embr is always been my full help for valheim since day 1 i played it. Thankyou!!
Super Guide again Embr... Thanks a lot and looking forward to some more
Great Video, keep up the good work
Best and funniest Guides, ty Embr 💖
Your videos are always high tier and you're the best Valheim reference/guide!! Keep going!!
Great video, clear and concise information. Thank you.
Thanks for the guide!
embr guides yesssssssssss!
Commenting to get this vid more algorithm attention! Great content!
Fun and funny...TY
Love your voice and accent
super informative vid. thanks 😀
Didn't expect to watch a guide from you of Ashland this soon, glad that I was wrong, I was just about to try and get one, it would be easy now that i know the basics
Quality content... as always!
Good video, Saludos from Argentina!!! 🇦🇷
was waiting for embr to post a valheim guide video
Another great guide! ty
I tend to make separate holes for each one. Another way to get those dogs in the hole is just by digging under them. Keep them in a small corral next to the hole then just dig them in
Very informative video, Thanks
amazing guides!
Always love these videos.
These videos are just the best!
The fact that a lot of the mobs and bosses in Valheim uses names from the nordic languages is really cool, and really funny because nobody are even close to pronouncing them correctly😅"Asksvin" means "Ash swine" btw.
Great guide 😃
In our hour of greatest need Embr has returned
Another awesome video of yours.
Nice timing, because I just reached the ashlands yesterday after completing the mistlands,
i always look forward to your videos when an update comes out
ayy yo thanks i was struggling trying to tame 1
Fire Video! 🔥
YO, thanks a lot. That will definitely help with this proces. And... will there be hildir's guide?
well done!, started a new server, about to fight Yag! So many hours yet still so much fun!
Geez look at you sneaking in a tutorial 😊awesome lady . And wearing flower crown lol ..nice touch .
Excellent guide! I've used a "wild taming" technique for lox where I just sneak up behind them without trapping them, toss them food, and wait for them to be tamed. I wonder if that'll be possible for asksvins or if they are too aggressive, turn too much to sneak up on, wander too much, or get attacked by other mobs. I'd love to have a guardian herd of 2* asksvins for my future Ashlands base like I do with lox in my plains base (over 100 head at last count).
She is back!
don't feel too bad about the dvergr, they more than got their revenge
These actually are the perfect pets IMO. If you hop off your mount, you can fight with them. If you get on your mount, you can sprint across the world. I didn’t tame them in my playthrough because i went intk the ashlands blind, and i didn’t see much of a point, but these guys seem really useful and somewhat attainable early-on.
The same for chickens. They don't mind being in a crowd. My friend and I have 10 chickens in a pen and they all reproduce
Mine stopped at about 25
Love these lizors
Asksvin translates in Swedish to Ash pig. As a Swedish person i thought that was pretty funny
I love the editting on this video and I wish other creatures laid eggs as well because it is super convenient for population control.
Considering how intense the Ashlands is, I can hardly imagine how I'm going to tame this thing.
I was able to tame a 2 star asksvin 😵
Hey Embr! Do you plan on posting an edited playthrough of the Ashlands like your Mistlands and Vanilla playthroughs? :)
good editing
Boaromir? Nice one🐖

wow,you are good!
Hey there! Great video ❤ Curious how your asksvin’s health went to 100% instantly after feeding. I’ve always had to wait a while for a lox or asksvin to heal up fully. Is there a trick?
I am sad i killed a rare 1* costal Asksvin the yesterday before watching this, i didn't realise how good they were... I'll have to keep my eye out for more.
Embr video!
Yes! Asksvin army…. Assemble!
Edit: they don’t follow you around like wolves, they behave like lox. But, the army is still possible, just bring however many eggs you want to wherever you want your army (hello Yagluth…) and hatch them at the location. Once they’re all hatched and grown up, either keep em in the pen for boss fights or unleash them into whatever biome you choose for added security.
And of course, toss a saddle on one for riding!
question. If you already have a world would the new update work on the world or do I have to make another one to get the new areas
The Ashland true biome will be in areas u haven't uncovered.
they seem like the new 2 star wolf but better and ride-able XD
nice
Asksvins are probably the best mob to tame, their drops are incredibly valuable and they can kill almost anything with ease
Hey if anybody wants to get into ashlands before queen heres how
Thers a few ways to get into ashlands without Drakkar but here the best one ive tested and pulled off (it is eiser with the free build but possible without)
All you gotta do is go to where the see starts to boil and sale on the edge of it till you see rocks as every ashlands seems to have a weakpoint where the ocean distdance is less usually about SE or SW now if you dont have free build on be prepared to lose a ship or 2 as next you have to gun it to the nearest spire/sea rock and place a workbench(they are quit flat on the edges so its easy) then repair/rebuild your boat amd bunny hop between spires until you hit land, now i do prefer to place a portal on a sea spire just outside of land and go in to find Dvergr for safety but from ther eplay how you want
Quick sidenote do this naked and with a longship because when you die its best to leave the body and retry
Sorry about the massive chain of text
Will the baby from the egg be a 2 star if both of your tames are 2 stars?
Bros the Ashland's are beyond my abilities
I also use Boaramir (& Pignelope) are my breeding pair of boars.
I killed one because I have a drop from it but I never noticed it. The Ashlands is so chaotic! 😅
Can Asksvins go through new portals?
can they go through portals?
Looks like beefy molten neck.
Ohhh did they fix it, I heard you still take damage on your person when you ride them in lava lol
they looked like kneck but evolved
Oh they spawn on the coast alright
Where do you find 2 star askvin?
Random
really nice Video @Embr , one thing, you maybe forget to mention, traveling with asksvin is the most easy part, just take the eggs through a portal or ship. an breed the egg in a warm place of your choice
It’s mentioned in the video. 5:38
😱😱😱🤩🤩👍👍👍🤠
Asksvin is Ask Svin=Ash Swine in swedish
can we get a base tour!?
She has done one! You can find it on Twitch here: www.twitch.tv/videos/2089502643
@@azurki4036 Doesn’t seem to work
@@dwaejiboi May need to log into Twitch, or open link on desktop or download Twitch app, and not open in old phone RUclips built in browser…
Ask is ash, svin is hog - so it's a ashhog. English pron is so 'wrong' :-) but I get why.
The warmth chart is super useful and should be wiki but its not
Is it me, or do you only find 2* asksvin at night?
If that was the case, they would probably despawn while taming like all the other night time mobs, but that does not seem to be a thing
7:44 stats are wrong for pie, it's 105/35/6 hp/tick
it got buffed. i think she edited this video before the patch.
@@ahmed_4202 yes, but only stamina from 24 to 35
Oh my goodness, those are some neat beasties. Um. The calves are cute? I would tend to prefer my fuzzy loxen, but the poor things would be far too hot down there, and burn their feet on the ground! :D
I recomend you make a raised wall platform that goes deep into ashlands. After this find a 1 or 2 star, shot them with a bow to get aggro and bait them back to your base.
