Love 'sleeper' vans, one thing I'd suggest changing is
If the gases emit ahead of the front axle it's an MOT fail/not road legal, if you get pulled that might spark an 'engineers report' request.

A couple of years ago, I borrowed a vauxhall combi from work. 1.8 tdi, and it was rapid on the welsh roads. I dread to think how quick that transit would go. Sounds beautiful

@@williamoakes664 a rat look van with a bit of power behind it is the way to go. Keep it looking standard but make it fast! I like my escort vans so I’m on the lookout for a decent shell I can drop an st170 lump in from a donor. Dirt cheap to do and 👌 when done.

Hi Guys. Awsome video,,I'm blown away.. I have a 2013 transit connect. this is a great van, but it lacks enough power to keep up with traffic on the hiway. i heard in your video that you used some sort of modification ECU ... is it possible that some more power can be had out of a stock engine on this van ? i think that 25 or 50HP would be a big improvement for this van.. If there is a tuned up ECU, what can i expect in power boost ?
