Adam! The Boot spoiler is a RS 1600i boot spoiler.
No expert on escorts but pretty sure that rare rear spoiler is off an RS1600i. Not sure about the wheels with that rear offset... Wicked build though!!! Cheers Adam!

Xr3i, 1 of my favourite cars EVER. Holds a special place in my heart as my dad had 1 in dark metallic blue when I was young along with a granada and a capri V6.
I'm not a fan of the Mk3 Escort, no matter if it's XR3, XR3i, RS1600i, or RS Turbo.
But wow, just as a work of art and detailing example, that car is ultra clean I love the condition. Brilliant work.
Mk1 and Mk2 Escorts, yes, fabulous cars, but out of my price range now.
Lovely car, nice colour too, looks very well built, I'm sure the rear spoiler is from an RS1600i though.

I had an rs turbo (25 years ago) and I think you only remember the good bits i'd forgot how much of a workout your arms got when steering at slow speeds.

I had this exact same car in red with the series 1 kit moulded into the car reg was B323 WTC I swapped it for a golf with Chris Eade dunno what happened to it after that... was a nice car !!!
Wing mirrors should be red inserts aswell, looks odd all black.
Awesome car although made me laugh when you asked what tyres he has and said yokohamas but when you looked at the shocks the front passenger tyre was a hankook

Christ the rear brakes are better than the fronts haha. I had 4x4 rears on my s2 with the 2wd 4 pots on the front and the rears would lock up all the time.

Used to b a series 1 in my family. The reg number said Taz.
The GT28 turbo & MTX 75 box are good for 400hp all day long, so reliable at this power.
But the chassis of the car would struggle with that power and torque. Would be too much torque steer, you'd be fighting with the steering wheel to keep it straight.
@@johnmitchell2269yeah that is correct. That’s why I said reliable at the current setup. Above 300hp would be a waste.
The zetec is a different power band the original 1600cvh due to the 16v 300hpm more than enough progressively mapped well. Saying that 200hp 18psi cvh is just as much fun, sounds better and feels as quick due to the power delivery of the cvh.
The XR3 mk1 or the fiesta XR2 my favorite shape of cars still after all these years

Mate of mine had a series one, they did a run of black at the end only very few and his series 1 was on a D plate , swapped it for a red sapphire which was mint but he regretted it
