  • Welcome to “The Stanley Way” channel where we will cover just about every project that a typical American family will encounter. This is not a “pro how to” channel, just an ordinary guy videoing his own projects.
    Current and future projects include converting two bedrooms and a bath into a movie theater, switching dryer and range from electric to gas, installing a hybrid water heater, cleaning and painting the garage floor, building a mega shed, and installing a hybrid solar panel system.
    You may learn something, you may not, but somewhere along the line you will probably laugh as Wes documents even his most embarrassing mistakes.
    We put together our first two theater seats!! Straight from Amazon are two inexpensive recliners sold by Furmax. Watch the video to see how easy they assemble and how comfortable they are.

    2024 update on theaters seats please. Were they durable?

      They are and still going strong. My son is 15 now and we have been through many Xbox parties with his friends over for the night. I wasn’t planning on using them this long but they are still being used and really don’t show any wear.

    hola, gracias por hacer el review... veo q te llego con la opcion de masaje pero en el link no dice si tiene masajeador o no :v sigo indeciso si comprar ese sillon o uno moradito xD pero fue de mucha ayuda tu vidio, gracias

      @TheStanleyWay  3 года назад

      De nada. Cuando ordené las sillas, Amazon no mostró una función de masaje. No sabía que eran sillas de masaje hasta que vinieron a mi casa. Si ordenas los que están en el enlace, pueden tener la habilidad de masaje. Me alegra que el video fuera de ayuda.

    Does it hurt your back with all the stuff in the massager

    • @TheStanleyWay
      @TheStanleyWay  3 года назад +1

      It doesn’t hurt but for me it took some getting used to. It doesn’t bother anyone else. We are going to order 4 more in the future but this time I think we will try another brand that doesn’t have the massager.

    How long did they last? And was the arm piping (red) annoying to rest your arm on? Thanks

    • @TheStanleyWay
      @TheStanleyWay  12 дней назад +1

      @@troymcdonald they are still in there and lasting quite well. They have been through years of abuse from teenagers. The arms are fine to rest your arms on but we did remove the sides on the chair back. For a really small person the backs will be ok but they pushed into my shoulders and was uncomfortable. After removing those there hasn’t been any issues.

    • @troymcdonald

      @@TheStanleyWaythanks. My biggest concern is that piping on the arms versus a one piece smooth arm, that’s why I asked. Looks like if you rest your arm, it would feel funny unless you set your arm exactly in between the piping. Am I seeing it wrong and it’s a smoother one piece arm? Thanks

    • @TheStanleyWay
      @TheStanleyWay  11 дней назад +1

      @troymcdonald I just got home so I went up there and looked and the piping is actually below the padding so your arm doesn’t touch the piping unless you are on the edge. I did ask everyone in the family that has been here and they all say they never noticed an issue with the arms. I will post a pic on a post here on RUclips for you to look at. YT won’t let us post pictures on comments.

    • @TheStanleyWay
      @TheStanleyWay  3 года назад +2

      They seem to be pretty good. We have had lots of people over and haven’t had any complaints. The lumbar padding is a little much because of a board that runs through it but it is not uncomfortable. We have four of them now.

    I have the same chair question how do u Disassemble the top part

    • @TheStanleyWay
      @TheStanleyWay  2 года назад +1

      What part exactly are you talking about? The two side pieces just slide off up and off, then if you want to take the brackets off they have screws that you remove. What part are you wanting to disassemble?

    What about the power source? Does it have to stay plugged in constantly or do you just charge it for a bit then unplug them when done charging? Please let me know. Cause I am thinking about getting one for gaming. But I don't have enough plugs to keep it plugged in constantly. So how does the power source work? Do you have to charge every once in a while or keep plugged in constantly? Hope to hear back soon. 🤔

      They have to stay plugged in constantly if you want to use the massage feature.

    • @TheStanleyWay
      @TheStanleyWay  2 года назад +1

      Good so far. We haven’t had any problems and they are well worth the money. They aren’t as comfortable as a big fluffy lazy boy but they are good enough for us. We plan on replacing them with a full set of theater chairs, but that won’t be for another few years.

    • @TheStanleyWay
      @TheStanleyWay  4 года назад +2

      It has a pretty strong vibration to it in the lumbar with different types of pulses. It works pretty good but it only vibrates, no rollers or anything like that.
