  • Watch as these tattered movie chairs are given new life with some easy-to-make covers that make them look and feel like new. We bought ALL 7 of these power-reclining move theater chairs for $200 on Facebook Marketplace. Then, we spent less than $100 at JoAnn Fabrics for the supplies - material, batting and thread - to make covers. When we bought them, the chairs were functional but the seats were torn up by a cat and from wear and tear. They were hideous. But new covers on the lower portion give them new life and make this home-made movie theater ROCK! They are so comfortable! Total spent was $300 for 7 power recliners. Watch the video to see how we did it. At the end of the video you will see the old couch that was replaced by the refurbished recliner seats.

That was extremely cool and informative. I have a 6ft tall x 10ft wide theater projector/screen and ive been looking for a cheaper way to get some good chairs down there.

fake leather is the worst. I would love this style of chair but wont bother with fake leather and real leather costs a fortune. No one seems to make them in a good solid fabric at a decent price. But lots of cheap ones with fake leather that will fall apart after 2-3 years.
