- What could possibly go wrong on a road trip across lil ol’ Canada to pick up 3 cars from Rust Bros?
Well, maybe your trailer breaks and you are stuck for three days in Sudbury, your car hauler is a no show and every other company is booked, you miss your moving deadline and your car goes to the scrap yard, you get sunburned but also stuck in a snowstorm for another three days-week to week you see every Canadian weather, your dog drinks puddle water at Rust Bro's shop then gets sick and craps in the fancy hotel-AND again in the next hotel, you see horrific semi truck accidents in the storm, but also . . . you see your Canadian reality tv celebrity car-crazy friends from Rust Valley Restorers, you buy two super rare hotrod cars, eat amazing sushi and prime rib, see the most epic Prairie sunset, cruise the Rockies, see an elk, wolf, and tumbleweed, find the greatest Diesel truck shop Canada has to offer, and . . . make a kick ass film all about it!

Thx for that great video loved it. Made a few of those trips out west in the winter. Lots of fun in that weather. One of the last trips out to Kelowna we drove my 56 chev that l sold to a buddy of mine. We left Brampton On May 15 1999, we got out to Regina 6 inches of snow. It was in the low 20`s when we left Brampton , in t-shirts. The snow covered roads lasted till just outside of Calgary. Keep up the great work guys
Cool! This is Ky-Lee, when I moved from BC to Ontario in 2009, I drove an 88 Caddy across country lol. No problems except cops pulled us over thinking fake plates, figured no way that car could drive that far. Lmao

The issue with your car haulers is that it cost them a fortune to drive in to BC where Mike is, if you move them from Calgary etc they will show up no problem - tire chains are good to have when you are in the mountains in the snow
The stretch from Mikes to Calgary can get really nasty - white knuckle drives
Yep! Very true. These cars didn't run so that was a problem too. A lot of car haulers don't want to move non running cars. We had a company booked and they just didn't show, couldn't believe it. They knew how important it was ...

There are many such shops on the prairies, in Alberta there is a shop that does nothing but restore squarebody chevy’s, I believe theone they were at was in Swift Current

If your 4x4 worked, you'd have mader out that parking lot i bet. Ive drove that trip from here ten mins away from averys place to Ontario in winter time. The snow drifts driving thru the praires were terrible. Great show, and i love deisel. Awesome dog.

As someone from North Bay, I know exactly what section of the highway you were on heading towards Sudbury that thrashed your trailer and tire, That section has been like that for awhile!! Can't believe that's how you had to start your trip
Have they fixed the damn road yet?! Lol. That was a total pain
@@TriXsterStudio I went to Sudbury in September and it was still fucking horrible that section, Like that is a major highway and for them to leave it like that, Pot holes so big that your doing 70 in that section to just try and avoid it and it blows your tire and wrecks your rim... ReDonkulose. The section of highway from Ottawa to North Bay is way better but past us it's like Night and day

It was hilarious when he asked what you paid for the vehicle and then asked if you wanted to sell it back and then literally when you made it to Mike's place and stepped out of the vehicle you could hear him on the phone asking the person what they paid for it and if they wanted to sell it back to him 🤣

Why dont any of you guys that do these huge trips through nowhere add an auxiliary fuel tanks there cheap compared to getting stuck and towed. And yinz know your gonna be cutting it close woth the normal trucks capicity.
