It is always great when our kith and kin come to Ghana to visit or stay, but it is most wonderful, when they come with their children, who need to see their African roots, to experience the land, the people, the culture, the food etc.
SO FROM NOW, IF ANYONE TELLS THEM TO GO BACK TO AFRICA, THEY SHOULD NOT BE OFFENDED. THEY SHOULD BE PROUD BECAUSE THEY ARE TREATED LIKE FAMILY, NOT AS IN THE US.
I'm excited to see some other Longs go to Africa. My slave name is Long, too. My wife, oldest child, a cousin and his wife and I went to Ghana over the Christmas/ New Year's holiday 2019-2020. I'm almost 72 years old, and this was the first time in Africa for any of us. The experience for me was truly spiritual as much as anything else. We did Accra, Elmina, Cape Cast, and Tumasi. My bucket list has South Africa, some place in East Africa and North Africa before I transitioned. Shout out to the Longs!
Jay, this video post-trip debrief is a significant part of the work that you are doing. These folks' lives have forever been changed. Keep up the great work with these Africa trips!
Frankly, Jay thank you so much for openning up the minds of our African American families and linking we at home in Africa. My greetings to this family. Like to hear the boys chose scientifique carriers in mecanical engineering. Please Jay, encourage Black Youths to poursue education in every sciences field. Oye Igbo (Igbo person). We're proud of you, JAY. African Americans should go visit other peoples of Africa.- Tanzania, Malawi, lovely Zambia, Botswana, Ethiopia, Morroco, Namibia and Uganda.
Great Testimonies, nice to see a whole family talking and reflecting on their individual experiences and looking to further adventures. Positive to see the young men talk too. This is such a great video to share. Thanks Jay.👏🏾👏🏾💖👍🏾
