No it wasn't the children were sitting there for an extensive period, in their shoes, that was not fun for them. The glasses they drank out of were too big too. The staging was not good. But the stories and the conversation was great. I feel inspired.

My heart surged with pride when the children first spoke. They are thoughtful and incredibly articulate which is a tribute to the efforts of their parents. I sense that the family is a confident and secure unit and I look forward to hearing more about their success. The Rwanda cleanup effort is transferable, one neighborhood at at time. On our street, we have improved the roadway by banding together as neighbours. We can improve sanitation as well. Let us all make Ghana the place we want it to be neighborhood by neighborhood, instead of complaining about its shortcomings.

Reparations for me would be having the USA send me to Accra and supporting me for the rest of my life. I am over 85 years. I have been retired for 23 years and cannot afford to move out of the USA although I have never felt that I belonged here.
This story is so uplifting that I have watched it more than once and will watch it again. It is so heartwarming 💕. They are blessed and a blessing in that they are an inspiration even for those of us who cannot leave. I have never believed the lies told about Africa.
What I find interesting is that a white country called Israel, inhabited by Israelis, not Israelites, is in Africa. I can't say anything about that without getting lambasted.
As a Jamaican am so proud of your decision to live in the motherland Ghana very peaceful i heard my brother went there and he loved it there.

Those children are so well spoken and bright. I’m so happy for this family. Ghana is very family friendly and safe so it’s a perfect fit for them.
I would suggest that those children are bright because their parents put effort, time, patience and money into raise such children.
It is sad that more western black families are not together as these people are. The children are well disciplined and sat quietly, listened and learned. They are well spoken and very smart. I have spent most of my life in Canada and I feel honoured when I go to the Caribbean and my friend's children who are in their thirties plus call me Auntie. No one calls me by my first name. It is either Miss __ or auntie. They respect us and we have to respect them in return. When will the oppression and exploitation end.

The people that keep saying that you’re promoting Ghana too much I guess have absolutely no recognition of the Marketing campaign tht America has literally spoon fed the entire world about America the Great. Of course you should continue to promote Ghana and Africa in it’s entirety. You’re doing an absolutely wonderful job with class. I Love your interviews. I’ve had to cancel/delay 4 planned trips to Ghana but I’m determined to have a family trip. Even though my children are young adults now. I really can’t wait for my first trip. Keep up the Good work.

I was busy working and passively listening, but when the young boy began to speak I stopped and paid close attention. The parents have done a wonderful job with home schooling their children. As an African American I have to say that type elder respect and education in our youth is extremely rare today. Our people are mentally damaged here and we need mass exodus back to the continent to heal.

I expect my child to get an A* in maths so when he gets it I shouldn't compliment with ''well done" because it was expected? I find that logic a little strange.

The wife is very deep. She doesn't have a sense of entitlement or attachment. I inferred this from how she said her children are a gift or loaned to them. The husband appears cool. Both of them seem to be very smart. Their children are in great hands. Ghana is blessed to have this wonderful family in Ghana.

Everytime I hear our brothers and sisters speaking about Ghana, the term "community" is always mentioned as part of the things they love. It's interesting how this is something so important to us! I'm from the Caribbeans also and I have been craving to come to visit Ghana ❤️ definitely my next trip ❤️ I feel like Africa is calling me ❤️Ghana will be the first trip on that journey.

When she said "it felt like home," I can't tell you how many people have said the same thing about Ghana. Even though Ghana doesn't have such a great infrastructure as many other African countries, the fact that it "feels like home" is what makes many people stay. No other African country feels so comfortable as Ghana.
Many other African countries feel the same as Ghana and some even better, depending on individuals and their preferences. Africa and Africans are welcoming. The story that Africans hate black Americans and every other blacks outside Africa which most diasporians were fed is not true.

These interviews are as refreshing as they are essential to Ghana 🇬🇭 and Africa as a whole.
The insidious nature of the lies that have been told, coupled with the continued perpetuation of the negative stereotypes about Mother Africa have done us mental damage to the extent that it has helped to drain Africa and her descendants emotionally, socially and most importantly economically.
Shows and interviews like this are needed to continue to be the engine that fuels the momentum of the Diaspora Transition that is happening. Thank you for doing the work. We appreciate it.

I applaud the parents for homeschooling their children and teaching them to love Ghana(Africa). You can tell the children are very intelligent and carefree. I also noticed that Ghana really gained attention after the whole Azonto Afrobeat became mainstream. I noticed a lot of Ghanaian youth in the Netherlands all of a sudden were proud to be Ghanaian whilst many years before they denied their descent. Nice interview.

The husband was correct when he said "if you're financially established". That's the key, if you're middle or upper middle class in the West and you can transfer your skills and earning potential to Africa, to the countries and areas in those countries, which are middle class by the standards in that country, then of course you'll most likely have a better standard of living, minus the challenges of being black in the West. However, if you are in poorly paid, low paid work in the West and you have little chance by whaever means of increasing your finances, then can you have a better life in Africa? The question is are more people looking to leave those African countries compared to those looking to migrate. And if more are leaving, then why are they leaving 😕?

Watching this interview immediately alleviated the stress I was feeling this morning. Just to hear and watch such demure, elegant and very well spoken beautiful black people warmed my heart. The whole family should be a billboard of how a family should present. The children were so lovely and well-mannered: indicative of great parenting. Home schooling is hard work but it has huge benefits. Children are well balanced and articulate. I homeschooled mine for a few years.
