Hi Lee from Australia, in the mid fifties a Sunday roast was nearly always roast lamb, roast potatoes, fresh beans and peas (no supermarkets in those days) with homemade mint sauce, the roast was cooked in dripping and was delicious. Lamb was the cheapest thing to buy back in those days and we could only afford chicken and pork at Xmas time.
I keep trying to figure out what a wonderful gal like Alex could possibly have done to get saddled with Lee for so many days LOL

Roasted Brussel sprouts. It's rude to where a cap eating unless you're outdoors at a baseball game or on the beach. It's uncivilized.

Beef or Chicken & roast potatoes. For me that's a true Sunday roast.
In Australia the Sunday roast consists usually a roast leg of lamb roast potatoes roast pumpkin and peas or beans but broccoli looks yum and of course gravy but l would go to that place for a British Sunday roast
Yes, these roast dinners looked lovely though I'd need a smaller portion and one yorkshire pudding, but I would need more gravy. The meat looked gorgeous and tender, the fat in it makes it much better. The veg looked ok but I can't tell from just looking, the carrots seemed easy to cut so maybe it was cooked properly. Yes, Lee, mash should always be on a roast dinner with roast potatoes also.
Think I'm going to come over next year

Brussels sprouts with a roast/baked dinner? Every time. Yes, the British rule the world 😊. You know the saying, “there are two types of people in the world, British, and those that wish they were.” 😂 Nothing beats a beautiful roast/baked diner. I refer to it being a baked diner as that’s what my family refer to it as. I guess both terms are correct. Mashed potatoes? Never had it on a roast/baked dinner. My choice, as you asked, beef, every time. Great video. Now I’m craving a roast/baked dinner and I have to wait until Sunday. Oh, before I forget. Coleman’s mustard. 👍

Lovely looking Sunday Roast there mate and definitely worth a 9/10 score as Alex said, considering you were in Spain. My only slight issue is i think it needed more gravy.
With regards to the question "does mash belong on a roast dinner". 100% it does. Ive never had a Sunday Roast without mash. I don't get what is so controversial about it. It's like asking if Chicken belongs in a Chicken Tikka Masala lol.

Looks like an excellent portion of meat. You cant go wrong with the prices they charge. I think a pint of San Miguel would have complimented it better than sparkling water

Good Evening Alex and Lee. I really liked seeing your Beautiful and Delicious Sunday Roasts. The Roast Beef looked amasing with such well Presented Vegetables cooked Al Dante. Yorkshire Puddings looked absolutely Superb. Lee, Your Roast of Pork and Chicken also looked very Well presented and cooked to Perfection. Archies looked like a very Good place to meet up with Friends and have some Good Food and Drink. The Food and Beverage Customer Servers looked very Lovely and Friendly. Nice to see some real Smiles again. What Great and Vibrant Atmosphere it did seem. I would come and visit this Establishment and I would order a Sunday Roast of Roast Beef and all of the Trimmings and Extra Gravy. I really did Enjoy your video. Thank you for sharing.
