Jeep JK Sleeping Platform | Easy DIY Seat Delete Solution

  • This is a DIY sleeping platform I built for my 2013 Jeep Wrangler four door JK. It involves a rear passenger seat delete, but replaces it with a platform that allows storage underneath it. I use Quadratec reverse light brackets to install the platform to the floor. The brackets can be purchased by themselves from Quadratec at the below link. It can also very easily be welded if you have access to a welder, as it's only two pieces of metal at at 90 degree angle.

    Just a bit of help...dry-wall screws work very well with plywood, just the regular black ones. They hold tight, screw-in well, and won't split the ply; use some glue and they will hold. Nice job!

      That’s good to know… I put a torx screw that was way too long which split the wood. On the other side, I used a screw half the length which did not split it. I’ll keep the dry wall screws in mind for the next time. Thanks for the comment
