This sounds like so much fun and the prompts are quite unique! I agree that Cujo was one of Stephen King's strongest books as far as his horror was concerned. I want to read more by Robert McCammon and recently purchased both volumes of Speaks the Nightbird. His writing is amazing and incredibly underrated! Dan Simmons' work is often classified as horror, though there are a lot of historical aspects to it, like how The Terror is creating a story out of what happened during the Franklin Expedition. I do need to read something by Jeff Strand and it is about time that I once again pick something up by Toni Morrison. I own Red by Jack Ketchum, but have not read anything he has written since I read and despised Old Flames and Right to Life, but I am inclined to give him another chance. Thank you for sharing and I am looking forward to hearing about what you plan to read! -Josh
Sounds fun, and I actually started watching giallo films last year, and there are still many that I need to watch. I would also love to read some giallo-inspired books, so Dead Girl Blues sounds right up my alley. OMG, I had no idea thar Night of the Living Trekkies exists. I must read it right now!! Jackson is the best. Have a wonderful Sunday, Kelsi!
Yeah, Deep Red is great! Phenomena is Dario’s favorite of his own movies. Great movie. Roo looks fun lol! I didn’t know there’s a kangaroo horror book. I’ll check out Speaks the Nightbird. I’m enjoying the vid! 📚📚📚📚🎥🎥🎥🎥🎃🎃🎃🎃
@@SlimeAndSlashers I don't blame you Kelsi! That film is so aesthetically pleasing that it shows how any film can transcend both time and the age of the individual that's watching it. That scene in the film where the main character is walking through the abandoned art deco mansion :)
I was going to take a breather next month but this sounds nice and easy. I would love to take Mongrels by Stephen Graham Jones off my TBR, Red Rabbit is already on hold and Final Slaughter just arrived in the mail. I'm looking forward to my first giallo movie!

Ooooh hope you enjoyed both if you were able to get to them!!!

Love me a Giallo, Dario Argento is tied with John Carpenter as my fav movie director of all time 🔪🎃🎬📽
