Formalism Analysis Example

In this video I walk you through the steps of a poetry analysis using a formalist approach. This is not a complete analysis. There were several things that I could have talked about or delved into more deeply. I just wanted to show you the steps involved in the process so you could do likewise. Also, please note that my interpretation of the poem is not at all the only conclusion one can draw from this poem. These lenses only show you possible interpretations - not definitive ones.
