The rat was always intimidating, by the music stopping on him in the first game to the fact he doesnt even have a name nor and alliterative name hes just "the rat" in contrast to cutesy names like candy cat it shows that there's something different about him Blank is a strange exception to this because he follows the odd sinister naming scheme so it really ruins the cold water dunk effect Making him a monster is just expanding on that xD
These reviews had peaked my interest into this franchise and gave made me respect what Scott has created and dedicated to after his disastrous period before he made Fnaf 1, if it weren't for you I would still think that this franchise was nothing special, so thank you.
Gomotion is honestly a really interesting and entertaining content creator. She finds such a good balance between the occasional joke and genuinely interesting info that it really makes her a joy to watch (oh boy that sounds stalk-ey). There have been a couple of times where I've had to stop watching RUclipsrs because I find that they get so caught up in negatively criticising things that they start hating on things just because it's entertaining and grabs the extra few clicks. I'm glad that Gomotion doesn't seem anywhere near that sort of path and I'm looking forward to seeing more of her content in future!

I’d make it so not having the tape player on or it being jammed makes you lose sanity or fill up a panic meter, similar to Popgoes. Maybe the more insane you become the more deadly the Cat becomes.
I like to call the Deepscape segments "Yume Nikki segments", since it reminds me of well Yume Nikki. >3> And the part where the puppeteer murders Cat and Rat feels pretty realistic to some degree - they just killed someone and they are absolutely panicking. The other guy is about to try and call the cops, and he's scared. He needs to stop him, and be attacks the guy in the cat suit without thinking. Also, though I really like this game, I do agree it's not made for replayability and can be kinda exhausting.

@@kpdotexe3649 I'll do a simpler version of the lore This takes place at RAT and CAT theatre, they were firstly suits, but when a person accidently killed the performers, they were now tech. Now when a boy came up to RAT, RAT attacked the boy. Then we have the place where OLD candy takes place, then Unknowingly got shut down. Now we have 2 murders in that OLD candy time, where 2 or 3 died on a factory converyer belt and turned into Candy, Cindy, and probably Chester. Now when the OLD candy place shut down, They used the dead kids robots as performers for there Burgers and Fries chain, and that's where we are at now.
The thing I kinda like about FNAC 3 is that while it has a main colour gradient in the form of reds and browns, it still takes a dramatic turn with the Puppet, who's major colour is purple. It's very similar to Sister Location (though that came AFTER FNAC 3), in that the main colours of the Funtime Animatronics are cool colours, with Baby and Ennard being the standouts, with Baby's warm colour gradient, and Ennards lack of colour.
The tape player music in this game is so unsettling and not calming at all. This game just reminds me of the fear of dark I had as a kid. Every night in my childhood was a nightmare.

I love the concept of this game. I remember playing it back when it was released and liking it more than fnaf 4. In execution tho it definitely needs work.
Honestly my favorite of the Candy games by a huge margin due to the whole story and dreams part. Both of those make it better than most every other fan game in my opinion

I just realized something... FNAF 4 made some people use the "everything was a dream/coma" theory, Scott literally had to make one more and make the FNAF 4 house a real place, now FNAC literally used dreams in the main gameplay place while also making the events of FNAC 1 and 2 real things
I imagine that somewhere in the multiverse there's a universe where five nights at candys is the original game and the actual fnaf series is just a fangame of fnac

While Rat's name is never told, Cat's name is given. Cat's name is Candy. Because, you know, Candy the cat. He was the original Candy. Shadow Candy, Cat, and Candy are different characters sharing the same theme of Candy in their name.

what it should have been is; Night 1, monster rat Night 2, monster rat but a bit more aggressive, 10-20% chance that he has to be fought twice before going under the bed Night 3, monster rat same as before but with 50% chance, add monster cat Night 4, monster cat, monster rat as before but with 90% chance that he takes two attempts, and 40% chance he takes 3 Night 5, monster cat, monster rat now always takes at least two attempts of shining the flashlight at him and has an 80% chance to take 3 Night 6, monster vinny, make him move circular still but not as erratic, still takes 3 attempts before he goes under the bed Night 7, monster vinny from the original game's night 6+monster cat

Here's my take on the Monochrome Atari games. 1- you play as the Cat (NOT THE RAT) taking the twins to kill them in the machinery during the night Mary sleeps in her job as the night guard. Yeah, did you know? There's an hallucination in the 1st game that hints at that. 2- you play as the Rat in the 1st game's restaurant and then proceed to kill a guard. The same guard you find dead as Candy in one of the minigames of the 2nd game, which led to the dismantling of Candy, Cindy and the other robots. Basically, the Rat framed all the other robots for murder. Not that they wouldn't do it, but that particular one wasn't their doing, it was rather the work of something far more vicious and violent. 3- this one is a bit more ambiguous, but I'd say you play as Mary, who visits the Fnaf 2 location, and as she sees the Puppet/Marionette, she is reminded of Vinnie, the nightmares, the trauma. That's why Vinnie's factory hallucination looks, not like the original ventriloquist puppet, but as a frowning bluish version of Marionette. It was the last thing she saw that resembled Vinnie, and reminded her of her feelings of guilt and fear.
This was one of the first games I streamed on YT along with the first 2 FNaC games and BatIM.... Because of that, this will always have a special place in my heart
Minor correction: At 20:19, you actually play as the cat in that minigame, ya I know 99% of people probably don't care, but just a small thing I thought I'd bring up. Otherwise this is a really solid video.
I’m pretty sure the minigame where the woman is walking around a restaraunt, and sees the Puppet, where it then turns into Vinny is supposed to be Mary Schmidt visiting the FNAF 2 location (Both Candys 1 and Fnaf 2 take place in 1987, and the ending newspaper of fnaf 2 also appears in candys) and upon seeing the Puppet it brings back her PTSD of Vinnie, which is why her hallucinations of Vinnie in FNAC 1 look more like the Freddy Fazbear’s Puppet than Vinnie used to actually look (according to the Thank You for playing group photo)

Here's my take on the Monochrome Atari games.
1- you play as the Cat (NOT THE RAT) taking the twins to kill them in the machinery during the night Mary sleeps in her job as the night guard. Yeah, did you know? There's an hallucination in the 1st game that hints at that.
2- you play as the Rat in the 1st game's restaurant and then proceed to kill a guard. The same guard you find dead as Candy in one of the minigames of the 2nd game, which led to the dismantling of Candy, Cindy and the other robots. Basically, the Rat framed all the other robots for murder. Not that they wouldn't do it, but that particular one wasn't their doing, it was rather the work of something far more vicious and violent.
3- this one is a bit more ambiguous, but I'd say you play as Mary, who visits the Fnaf 2 location, and as she sees the Puppet/Marionette, she is reminded of Vinnie, the nightmares, the trauma. That's why Vinnie's factory hallucination looks, not like the original ventriloquist puppet, but as a frowning bluish version of Marionette. It was the last thing she saw that resembled Vinnie, and reminded her of her feelings of guilt and fear.

Minor correction: At 20:19, you actually play as the cat in that minigame, ya I know 99% of people probably don't care, but just a small thing I thought I'd bring up. Otherwise this is a really solid video.

I’m pretty sure the minigame where the woman is walking around a restaraunt, and sees the Puppet, where it then turns into Vinny is supposed to be Mary Schmidt visiting the FNAF 2 location (Both Candys 1 and Fnaf 2 take place in 1987, and the ending newspaper of fnaf 2 also appears in candys) and upon seeing the Puppet it brings back her PTSD of Vinnie, which is why her hallucinations of Vinnie in FNAC 1 look more like the Freddy Fazbear’s Puppet than Vinnie used to actually look (according to the Thank You for playing group photo)
