❤Thank you again for helping me to build up the colors slowly to add depth and form. Quick tip for anyone who doesn’t like graphite pencil lines - a light gray watercolor pencil works well for transferring an image via a window or light box. When a wash is applied the gray blends into the edge softly. ❤
Thank you. 😀
As always - a pleasure, a joy, thanking you for encouraging us of shy and hesitant nature. Lovely, lovely.
🥰🥰

Aww thank you 🥰
I love your familiar voice and this is by far my most favorite tutorial/painting. Thank you so much!
Aww thank you so much ☺️
I'm in the early stages of using Inktense Pencils. Watching how you layer the colours is so helpful. Super video tutorial Rae, thank you 🫶
Oh thank you so much. Glad you enjoyed it. I have an Inktense playlist which you’ll find on my home page. You may find it helpful x
@@helencampbell Thank you, I'll check it out 👍
❤ love your tutorials, thank you xx
Thank you very much xx
Another great tutorial. Thanks Rae xxx
You are welcome x
I love your Inktense tutorials! Thank you very much for another great one! 🌷
Thank you very much
Wonderful video thank you for this! I keep going back to my Inktense for all of the reasons you mentioned.
The video is so clear and well lit! And your instruction and voice is lovely to listen to. ❤
Oh thank you so much. Have fun painting x
What a great tutorial. This will help enormously as I’m starting a collection of food and drink themed paintings to create my own collection for crafting. Tomatoes are one of the items I don’t have yet so thank you for doing this video. It’s lovely and they look good enough to eat. - Dawn 🌅🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
Thank you very much Dawn. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with xx
Beautiful! Thank you!❤
My pleasure x
So many great tips! ❤ thank you!
You’re most welcome x
From what I can see through a video, that particular hot press paper looks like it handles the inktense pencils wonderful. I find that hot press can be a bit too delicate for using the inktense directly on it, espcially in multiple layers, but it being only 50% cotton probably helps. (I find that my less expensive papers take more direct coloring from inktense and watercolor pencils.)
I use your brushes a lot!
Thank you. We have just 14 sets left now x
I'm seriously considering a tin of pencils and the 48 pan set for Inktober coming soon 🎉 I have six of them but haven't used them yet. I just got a blister pack to try. Thanks for the tutorial! I think I can do this more or less with the colors I have.
Love your videos ❤
Thank you Kathy x
Nice video. Could you do a landscape tutorial with these pencils?
Thank you. I don’t paint landscapes but they can certainly be used for that
These are really cute & juicy looking Rae! ❣ I grow Cherry Tomatoes just by planting seeds from other Cherry Tomatoes on my balcony, which are all in flower ready to produce fruit....so will definitely give these a try. I could either use my Derwent Inktense Pan Paints or try them with the Lyra (Rembrandt) Watercolour Pencils (nowhere near as intense as the Derwent Pencils though). Or both? 🍅🌿🍅
Thank you Terry. I can’t wait to see what you come up with x
Inktense will lift if you have not FULLY activated the pigment. That’s why working in very light layers is important if you want to glaze without fear of the previous layer lifting. I keep hearing people say Inktense doesn’t re-activate and that’s true, as far as it goes. But I also see lots of comments from people who are frustrated and confused because they are experiencing reactivation with Inktense.
Absolutely
❤❤❤
🥰
Fabulous video on Inktense pencils! Thank you for sharing. Can you tell me what the name of the paper you used is, and where to get it please? I have tried them on watercolor paper, but as you said, it is a little too rough and doesn't lend itself to this kind of layered blending. Thanks you.
Thank you. It’s just a smooth watercolor paper but I have also used rough watercolor paper successfully. Here’s a playlist showing how ruclips.net/p/PLs4H0qOC8epWr8qXUhRTw0-fTdV6ifmKJ&si=RjO7Ln-BXxQ2NCyE
I got a lot of refs and line drawings but don't see the cherry tomatoes. I suppose I could draw them up. Just letting you know that I don't see them in the group.
They are not in the group as I stopped posting them there as I nice give the free digital versions on FREE version of patreon as mentioned in my video. I haven’t put the new outlines there for two years. Only the older ones are in the group album. If you join Patreon you can have them delivered to your in box weekly. It’s free
@@helencampbell Thank you. I'm going full tier in two weeks. I'm just learning to navigate 🙂
These are not inexpensive! Jus saying 😂
