I got one of these at the old price when 'Everything Under $19.99' was 30% off with a coupon.
I've only used it once or twice, but it's a solid enough ratchet.
Less than $15 for a 'DIY stubby' ratchet is a deal - considering grabbing another one tmrw to modify.

No doubt, but at many times the cost of these! Not really a fair comparison.

@@geraldschrader8511 i mean i seen it at HF and did want it. Def not a bad choice (at least for this specific product) but man. This seems like something to pay top dollar on thats just me. Im not even a snapon guy i use craftsman tools (even Taiwan made) XD. But it seems other than tool trucks harbor freight is the only one offering this ratchet.

Yes a Snap On would probably cost in excess of 300.00 , for the Do it Yourself person this is not a bad idea. For the profession not so much.

I have that ratchet, works great. I can see where your idea would be handy.

So they are shipping production back to china because their manufacturing for harbor freight started out with china tools then went to Taiwan so you’re saying it’s going back to china ?

Pittsburgh has always been china with some taiwan (which is China as well). Quinn and icon are taiwan with some icon hand tools now being made in USA. They have always expanded and had variety. Now it's growing more.

From what I’ve seen is that some of the recently made in Taiwan Pittsburgh ratchet models are now made in China.
