How the hell do they make the mics so good and no one else can? I have the opencomm 2 and the mics are terrific. Every manufacturer shoud take note here
Decided to get these a couple days ago and I'm quite impressed. The audio is probably the best you'll get with any bone conducting headphones as they're a hybrid of open air/bone conduction headphones, and it shows. Definitely an improvement over my previous Openrun headphones aside from the lesser water resistance. (Those had IP67) Love how they fixed the vibrating at loud volumes, no more obnoxiously loud beep on any of the buttons, and now we have USB-C. Got so sick of these companies with their own bullshit proprietary cable for their headphones.
Excellent Excellent Excellent. These are a buy. Take a moment on the site to measure for the standard or mini size. Great interplay between the App and the headphones. Shokz is the place to go for this kind of headphone. The only drawback so far is the wire behind your neck. Also, there isn’t a feature to wireless charge these in or out of the case.
If you use multi-point (e.g. to pair to a laptop + phone), and then lose connection with one of the devices (e.g. you went on a walk with your phone, but not your laptop), does the new Shokz incessantly beep to let you know that the connection is lost? Or just once?
@@maegnificant I am a mega Shokz fanboy. I didn't think the last gen OpenRun Pro sounded any better than OG OpenRun, but curious about the addition of the open-air speaker here. I expect it will improve the sound quality, but curious how effectively in various real-world scenarios.
@@SuperReview I would love to try them, but the asking price is a little too much for me to buy completely blind. Gonna wait for people to review them that I actually followed for a while
Hi, I’ve noticed that the microphone quality is very bad in discord and calls with iOS. Is there a fix for this? I would not recommend anyone buy this until it is fixed.
I ordered the *Erazer* from _Lonovo._ Was hoping to get your opinion (since it is taking ages to arrive). Hope you are well! Thomas Kelly Albuquerque, NM
How is the sound leakage? The air conduction drivers on these seem very open when compared to other air conduction neck bands that place the drivers directly on top of your ear canal. Ex. Tozo openreal.
Question: does this support pulling the Bluetooth connection? You didn’t mention it which is probably my answer but I figured I would ask explicitly anyway. I wish more Bluetooth supported that feature
All my shokz do that too except the opencomm2, the opencomm1 do what you describe, but the 2 doesn’t. I’m hoping this device also operates like that newer model, that beep is so annoying
As a glasses wearer I find ear hooks uncomfortable and annoying. But even more annoying is having a band around the back of your neck all the time. No sale for me. Happy with my Galaxy Beans 😅
I agree generally except when I’m doing something where losing a bud would suck / like sailing. Being hooked around my ears and the back of my head helps to make sure they stay there.
wow I've watched about five videos and if you're sponsored well done you've convinced me to upgrade 🙏🏽👍🏽
We are and great to hear 😄
Good video. Happy to hear they're going work button controls.
Okay. So these are the ones to pick up! The multipoint, type c and mics have me sold.
Cheers!

It is the #1 reason I loved my original Shokz Open Run Pros. I would do my own mic test and the Shokz would always win.
Great review. You covered all the important parts with very little fluff. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Actual buttons. That's why i love my jabra 10.

How is the noise cancelling?
😂
Nah, we need a separate video for that. A "Special Edition".

I'm testing this right now @superreview. Is it ok if I just turn Bluetooth off too?
Ok. I turned off Bluetooth on my second phone and it beeped once but nothing else. You're good to go!
Anyone else hearing pop pop popsicles , ice ice icicles followed by test test testicles 😂😂😂
Really wish they had a higher water resistance rating but ip55 is decent for headphones. Been debating these or the new openswim model.
Hi! Thanks for the review. Could you please tell us if the OpenRun Pro 2 can command Siri on Apple iPhone?

I would love to see a video comparing these to their Fit model. I am torn between the two.
Please review OnePlus buds 3 pro
Please compare sennheiser momentum tws 4 vs galaxy buds 3 pro.
I wonder how they compare to their opencomm2?

There's a bit at higher volumes but people still need to be close to you to hear it.

They make a type-c connector like the opencomm, it'll be better than opencomm...
